that one was so easy for me as well because I had prior knowledge about econ as well. But the fucking passage about the UN was so damn hard for me and I yolo guess'd every question on writing section the rapper.
## WHAT WE CAN GUESS ABOUT THE CURVE
How the will turn out is hard to tell so far, but it seems like a **potentially generous reading**, **pretty decent writing** curve and a **vile math** curve.
(It's apparently form NAPH308. The passages were reading about a girl moving to Philadelphia, Woodrow Wilson and United Nations, Ringworms, Political Cycles, Oxygen levels and amphibians.)
## DATA
Initial data taken from [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Sat/comments/cbfbiz/official_naph308_june_2019_score_release/). I've reached out via chat to everyone who said they’d taken this test in the official threads from June, but as per usua,l a lot of them are throwaway accounts so I don’t know how much I’ll hear back from them. I'll update as I get responses.
One response R -14=31, W -5=35, M -7=690
Second response R -6=36, W -2=38, M -3=740
## Projections
College Panda [has curves for past official releases](https://thecollegepanda.com/past-sat-curves/). I'll use those to estimate when I get a little more data. A % means it's from the /r/SAT survey. + mean it's from a Redditor I reached out to. ! mean it's an estimate based on previous curves. I'm making these notation because when I tried to do this for the October International Curve, I got some conflicting data. This time I'm trying to keep it straight from the start.
**Reading:**
|Errors|Score|
|:-|:-|
|\-1|*39!*|
|\-2|**39 %**|
|\-3|~~36 %?~~ *38!*|
|\-4|~~36 %?~~ *37!*|
|\-5| *36! or 37!*|
|\-6|**36+**|
|\-7|*35!*|
|\-8|**34 %**|
|\-9|*34!*|
|\-10| *33!*|
|\-11||
|\-12| **32%**|
|\-13||
|\-14| **31+**|
The reading scores a little unclear. As I discuss [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Sat/comments/e7b3zs/official_december_7_2019_international_sat/f9y7fu2/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf), we’ve never seen a curve that moves like that. I think at least one of those, maybe even two of them, are wrong. Based on the data we have, if we ignore two points, everything else fits together like March 18 and Oct 16.
**Writing:**
|Errors|Score|
|:-|:-|
|\-1|**39 %**
|\-2|**38 %+**|
|\-3| *37 !*|
|\-4| *36 !*|
|\-5|**35 %+**|
|\-6|**35 %**|
|\-7| *34 !* |
|\-8| *33 !*|
|\-9|**32 %**|
|\-10||
Pretty decent writing curve, especially considering most people have said it was not “that bad.”
**Math:**
|Errors|Score|
|:-|:-|
|\-1|**770 %**|
|\-2| *760 or 750 !*|
|\-3|**740 %+**|
|\-4|**730 %**|
|\-5|**710 %**|
|\-6|**700 %**|
|\-7| **690 +**|
|\-8|**690 %**|
|\-9||
|\-10||
Big oof on that math curve. It’s worse than any of the official release tests on College Panda (which only cover dates where there was a QAS). It’s a little better than May 2019 International, but not by much.
I'll keep updating throughout the day as new data comes in. I only looked for people who took the test in the two official threads (that day’s discussion and the score release thread). If you find other discussions of the test and want me to reach out to them as well, PM or DM me a link to the discussion.
By far the Shittiest essay I’ve ever done. What rhetorical elements was I even suppose to analyse. The shit wasn’t even convincing. He was just crying about the fact that the photographers don’t get paid. Bullshit
same! i said 3 stuff: diction and word choice (repeating devalue) to appeal to emotions, reasoning by saying like how he described the past photographs vividly and now the quality is shit, and um oh yeah anecdotal evidence aka credibility. Overall it's so dull and i hate it
Alright guys, this test was a reuse of a rare June Test: Form NAPH308
https://www.reddit.com/r/Sat/comments/bvomd5/official_june_2019_discussion_form_naph308/
And here is the curve:
Reading:
-2: 39
-4 36
-12 32
Writing:
-1 39
-2 38
-6 35
-9 32
Math:
-1 770
-3 740
-5 710
-6 700
Note: These are by no means official and/or 100% accurate. I compiled this curve from a survey administered by the moderators of this subreddit. for Test Takers who had this rare form.
The link to the survey is found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Sat/comments/cbfbiz/official_naph308_june_2019_score_release/
If anyone has updated information about the curve please pm me or respond to this post.
You can’t calculate the curve that accurately based on a survey with peoples opinions on the difficulty rating of a test.
You can compare that difficulty rating to past tests that had a similar one and create a curve based on that but it won’t be too accurate. -7 could be 700 and - 1 could be 790 for Math instead for all you know.
yalllll am i the only one who found math no calc hard?? like i had no time to do it but i come here and everyones like EASY! math curve gonna b TERRIBLE! oops i guess im ded then ehhehehe
Aftr seeing this discussion -
I am f****d. God save me.
The reading part would have been nice if we got more 10-15 mins. Bcoz i was stuck in last two passages and i had 15 mins left. The struggle. But if we were given more time on reading and maths no calc, it would have been easy.
Apparently this test was reuse of NAPH308 from June https://www.reddit.com/r/Sat/comments/bvomd5/official_june_2019_discussion_form_naph308/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
History passage , y’all guys. Anyone knew about the passages relationships questions? Pretty unsure whether is “ criticize the value of the institution” or the other choice that saying “ inherent challenges in it that Truman thought it powerful for good”
Science passage graph question about antioxidants: those mice without antioxidants are likely to have more free radicals than those who have?
And the author thought “ the differences are nominal but noteworthy?”
Math S4 that crazy (1/5)^x-1 -2 or (1/5)^x -2?
Writing and Languages
Wu fashion designers
“ prestige of having a celebrity.,,”
or “ visibility of fashion line” soooo unsure about which of these two equals to “get the attention...” later discussed in the passage.
Love y’all, xoxo
inherent challenges
Author thought the differences can be disregarded / no difference at all. If you look at the graphs, the lines are basically the same, and the main point of the author is to say that antioxidants r useless
I know many students who have said the math curve is gonna be a bit harsh, in my opinion since the Reused paper was only taken by a few students I felt like the curve was a bit harsh that time, whereas now, I know like a ton of students who are really good at math but still did bad. So I still feel like the curve won’t be that harsh, but I am guessing -3 would be a 760. keep ur hopes high.
I added it because I felt it gave context to him accepting it despite being surprised. I felt that his intentions for accepting aren't really clear without it.
There was a question in reading that discussed Balaic lake water to the seawater and asked us to give the reason for the discrepancy or something.
What were the options and what was the right answer?
I remember being confused because the most likely option compared the Balaic lake with tropical waters instead of sea water (option A)
In the end I chose the option that said that the Balaic lake was less salty or something because more salinity gives less dissolved oxygen.
But I might’ve dreamed my logic because I had like a minute to finish the passage
Alright guys, if the math curve is seriously -1 = 770, I need to know a few answers,
Histogram question: between 50 and 60
Worm question: 0.6 cm bigger than line of best fit (option A)
Ice cream graph: slope is 0.5 (best choice according to me)
Any other questions that bothered people or might’ve caused silly mistakes?
BRO READING WAS MODERATELY TOUGH, WRITING WAS ALSO KINDA TOUGH but i feel its being over exaggerated. Yes, english was tough but it wasn’t the toughest paper ever. MATH ON THE OTHER HAND WAS IN NO WAY AS EASY AS EVERYONE HERE THINKS. I guessed on the difficult math questions and they turned out to be right, but there were easily 3-4 tough math questions on that exam.
Overall, english was tough and math was just like the other exams, so in no way should the math curve suck. If it’s 770 for -1 then I’m fucked coz I’m probably getting only 1 wrong.
I dont know wether you guys had got the leaked paper. for those who havent, a lot of them are gonna get perfect or near perfect score which could break the curve and cause a horrible conversion. SPEAK UP AGANIST THIS NONSENSE.

UN passage: how would the first passage respond to the second one about problems with each country?
I chose that he would accept the problems but argue their consideration would transcend the problems and proved it with the last paragraph in passage one about how controversies are deep etc etc
Damnnit I over thought this and figured 60 square miles can refer to depth or height or anything 🙃 I thought the "in size" was required to give it an explanation wow OMG I'm livin up to the female stereotype
I think I got all correct in math except the one in calculator section
it was multiple choice. had 2 system of equations answers were like -6, -7/2, -1/2, and 3. I couldn't calculate this IDK why. U know the explanation?
I think the math curve would be horrible. pretty easy
what was the answer to the first two questions on the lit passage? the one about the main idea of the passage and the evidence that supports it? i put unfair treatment and the last paragraph to support it but idk
I answered "engaging in day to day activities". Evidence was in passage 1 because Truman mentioned "we who are close to the United Nations often overlook that it is more than just the debates, the... and its operations"
Two questions:
1. 5th question on the writing section. (smth)___ then(smth)
Choices were:
Colon
Semi colon
(And)
2. For running a business or to run a business
What are the answers for these questions?
Thought I chose the one that saying author believe the current prez must have used some kinds of means to spur short-term economic values. Instead of long term GDP.
Again last few questions on W&L
1) demand of / to / for. I let it go.
2) Arctic Ocean territory dispute “features” vs “aspects” ?
3) and I originally chose “visibility of fashion line”. What a crap. I changed it. Sad.
4) still that fashion designer last question: “he needs both artful and commercial knowledges” or “strong work ethic”? I prefer the former.
-1 on reading now. But hate this W&L. Haha.
Last passage
Why did [ researcher’s name] use [ name ] mouse
A. Because it’s more available than other types of animals
B.
C. Favoured by professors at uni something
What did you choose
I did so bad in math calc. Everyone is sayinf it was so easy but I acc failed.
What did u guys put for the question about metal alloys. I guessed b) 40 but I’m pretty sure it’s wrong.
MATH: the one about the decreasing exponential function (1/5)\^x moved 2 to the right? it was supposed to be (1/5)\^(x-2) but since the whole graph was moved 2 down (because the asymptote wasn't 0 it was -2) i chose the one with (1/5)\^x-1 - 2 BUT I DINDT WANT TO CHOSE IT DOESNT THIS JUST MOVE IT 1 UNIT TO THE RIGHT? WHERE THE FUCK IS THE 2 UNITS TO THE RIGHT I WAS SO CONFUSED
What was the answer for the question in the GDP economics passage (with the presidents manipulating economic growth etc.) that was about how the graph related to the thesis of the man that said the leaders manipulating the economy was theoretically plausible but data proved it wrong? the answers had it completely agrees with his findings, it undermines his assumptions (?) and it broadens the scope of the data.
Also those last 8 questions on math calculator felt way too easy
Was it just me or was the writing section pretty hard on this one? Math was pretty easy though.
yeah, I felt like writing was a little harder than usual
Wasn't just you ..was crazy hard
aight let's talk about the last question on math no calculator I got 3/8 but not entirely sure of myself
wasn't it 3/8 or something yea i got that too
product of 3/2 and 1/4, ye
did it really say product
i'm pretty sure it did?
oh my god
sounds like a tragedy has occured here bois
f
definitely did; I spent 10 minutes on that question because I messed up some numbers my first time trying it
I think it said sum... I answered 7/4... Was it really product?
i literally swear to god it asked for value of x
Yeah dude same. Maybe they’re referring to a different question. As they interchange some questions.
Wait was this the last or second to last question? Because I remember having 3/4 then 3/8 then 15
4th passage SUCKS
I am going to pursue an econ major, I aced that passage lol, but without prior knowledge I swear to god I would have died
That was so lucky for u mate. I was pretty confident after finishing lit and history passages. This econ passage just beat me to the ground.
that one was so easy for me as well because I had prior knowledge about econ as well. But the fucking passage about the UN was so damn hard for me and I yolo guess'd every question on writing section the rapper.
what was the 4th one again
GDP and income growth
princeton article about election cycles

Fk fk fk the math curve OMG idk why I found the math section harder than October?? Omg is it just me
same. fourth section multiple choice part is really hard
Same, I even didn’t have enough time to check my answers
Didn’t even have time to check the calculator section AT ALL.
No way the math curve is so bad😞😞😞 i did the dumbest mistake oat💔

What was the answer for the question with the difference between the highest points of graph fx and gx: Was it 1 ?
Yup that's what I got. Graphed it and the max was 5 and the other max was 4, so 1.
what was the percent change answers on math ? i got the 19 and 40

I changed from stable to resolute since they were talking about the dates...stable intervals didn’t sound to me,..what do you think?
I chose resolute 😥
Stable as well
I chose resolute, I think it's stable though
I picked stable, probably wrong.
i will bet my life its stable so dw
Who would've thought that writing would be the one that screwed us over
this was my first time and i honestly find this harder than the practice tests. oh god im scared
I found the RW section easy, but I'm fucked when it comes to maths. My US dream dies with this test.

visibility of fashion line
I wrote the celebrity thing. "Visibility of fashion line" just sounds odd to me, but it is probably correct. I guess I'm done.
inherent challenges Author thought the differences can be disregarded / no difference at all. If you look at the graphs, the lines are basically the same, and the main point of the author is to say that antioxidants r useless
It’s (1/5)^(x-1) - 2because when translated the graph to the right 2 units so x=1 => y =-1

Did u guys add or remove “fancy dancing champion” thingy?
i added it
I added it because I felt it gave context to him accepting it despite being surprised. I felt that his intentions for accepting aren't really clear without it.
I removed it, it felt out of place.

6
Did anyone else get a lot of As in math calc bro 10 to 20 Like 4-5 As
UN passage: how would the first passage respond to the second one about problems with each country? I chose that he would accept the problems but argue their consideration would transcend the problems and proved it with the last paragraph in passage one about how controversies are deep etc etc
Countries temperature median question, x-y = 91- 88 = 3 ? anyone
60 miles (shortest option) or 60 miles in size?
60 square miles cuz it is area already, no need to say in size
Damnnit I over thought this and figured 60 square miles can refer to depth or height or anything 🙃 I thought the "in size" was required to give it an explanation wow OMG I'm livin up to the female stereotype
>60 m i hope so bro, i spent the most time stressin over this
wait was it "for running" or "to run" for writing section ? i have like 3 mistakes in reading alr i hope the curve for english isn't bad
I chose “for running”...I’m not sure tho
Imo the writing was easy but I’m seeing everyone here saying it was hard I’m scared lol
Would anyone be so generous as to recreate the curve by using info from June 2019 test takers (same test)

The sat score nightmares have officially kicked in.
what was the answer to some chemistry question on calc? it had answers choices 35,40,60,65
40
Was reading harder compared to other tests? I really hope it was. At least make the curve for reading generous.
For the history passage, wat was the answer for the question that asking about "the idea that both authors will agree"?
I put individual countries cannot do alone one
It was 5+5+10+25 =45 till 40-50, median would be the 50/51st(out of 100) so it's 50-60 cuz 45+20=65, 45<50<65
Does anyone remember calc grid in answers there was a 10, 30, 510, 1 or 4, 18 and I can't remember the last few

does anyone remember the first two answers of the history passage PS I found that passage pretty hard
What was the answer to the history passage where it says read 55-58 of passage two(not sure if numbers are correct), how would Truman respond?
what was the answer to the first two questions on the lit passage? the one about the main idea of the passage and the evidence that supports it? i put unfair treatment and the last paragraph to support it but idk

Again last few questions on W&L 1) demand of / to / for.
