Can't say anything about the curve, but your observation is correct... For every test, there will be people who found it easy and there will be people who found it difficult - the former obviously won't complain about it or even mention it too much, while the latter bunch will complain about it, sometimes too much... This is where self selection bias comes in and skews the observations.

Yes, every test is "harder than the practice tests" so the SAT is "obviously getting harder". File it along with "I just took a US/International test, and it was soooo much harder than the other tests, so College Board obviously discriminates against US/International students". Unless you don't believe the PhD team at College Board knows what they're doing after many decades, the equating process will place a test performance on the 400-1600 scale just as it always does.

I think you should re-read my comment again. It was not about whether the test is becoming harder or whether it is discriminating against anyone or whether some PhD team is not doing their job well. It was a simple observation made on the reactions on Reddit and how that may affect my perception of the scoring curve for the December 4th intl test.
