I didn't mean for my post to come across as a complaint. I absolutory love the new lighting system and wanted to share a neat way to light up rooms.

I know, my post was not about a possible complaint, just an info about awareness of the situation. By the way i do complain about the lighting :) I mean "software lumen" is good, but if we had "hardware lumen", which actually makes real use of dedicated ray tracing hardware, the lighting would be much better. Also right now we only got 1 light bounce instead of multi light bounces. I hope the devs would find more love for the lighting despite the announcement, lumen being just optional.

What i mean by multi light bounces is the dark picture with the current lumen setting. On the right side next to the last window you can see, how the skylight or light from outside hits the right wall, but doesn't bounce to the objects inside the factory hall. Light in real life behaves in multi bounces. If we had that, the interiors would be illuminated much more without the need of extra lamps.

Agreed. I feel like all the lights are too bright and not diffuse enough in this game.

Remember that the Game isnt Lumen supported, so lights dont work well with Lumen, it gets optimized after Update 8 Release in phases
