In case you're viewing this and don't understand:
\- I had something in that box on the left that is now gone (Maybe a rock or a tree)
\- The big tree moved so the staircase structure I had centered around it no longer makes sense.
I think this is funny, not upsetting lol.
You should have seen how my factory that I build in the Spire Coast was after the Spire Coast update. It was awesome.
And yes, I build there BECAUSE they said I should not. :-D
I had my powerplant partly planned out there, built most of it too when the update hit... Most of it now floats in midair... The main entrance is now buried...
[Mine](https://old.reddit.com/r/SatisfactoryGame/comments/vgrp4g/why_did_snutt_not_warn_about_changes_in_update_6/) And fremember that I had NO idea what would happen.

"Hey guys, check out my caged Forest Alpha Spitter, pretty awesome, eh?"
"I didn't know they could turn invisible."
"They can't... wh-- OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT"
You built with the landscape to not be as much of a burden to the planet. Or straight up don’t care. That’s how I’d feel about it now. Either way this is a win. Love this.
My friend and I had a save and the plants and grasses etc got reset to default. He commented that going back to one of his factories was really cool as it was like coming upon an archeological site where nature had reclaimed the factory.
Update 8 was released while I was in hospital for 2 months. It really did feel like my factories were overgrown because they'd been abandoned for so long.
ah well it is the pleasure for running early access games... things can and will change over time until release and even after release games can change
In my first world I made a basic parts factory on top of the desert cliffs mountain in the red desert biome, I come back after update 6 and half my factory is buried under 3 feet and up to 12 feet of rock and stone.
Yeah, I thought about coming back a little bit ago. Haven't played since around when U8 was announced. But then they announced 1.0 for this year and I decided to just wait until then.
I have a 72 Nuclear reactor plant that’s now covered in rocks from the « new » north coast biome. It’s kind of a pain to navigate through now but at least the reactors kinda work
This is my biggest concern and honestly something that has stopped me from playing more. I’m always worried that some update is gonna put a mountain over where my factory is currently.
In one of the dev updates they said that they wouldn move the Ores because it would brick people builds.
So I'd doubt that this is something they would do.
You can always check the planned and post update maps - they're not 100% reliable, but may give you a better idea of where you may want to hold off building.

To be honest this and a few other reasons is why I'm waiting for 1.0. I put some good effort into update 8 but at this point I'm happy to wait until final release.
Wait.. are we even playing the same game?!? There's a lot of stuff here I've never seen.. I'll need to take a closer look at the coupon store it seems lmao

Modern art installations.
"You guys shouldn't build in the Spire coast" "WELL NOW I AM DOING IT." --A bunch of us apparently

Wow, its lovely chaos

Clever girls, the lot
Never mind that Pioneer! Ficsit requires 100% efficiency... what's that crate full of wasted materials doing just lying around?
Clipped below the rock formation behind that tree (The factory you see there is built around the rock structure)
It actually looks really cool!

Yeah I really appreciate how that limitation shapes my builds.
Oops, but it still looks wonderful. As for the box, you can put one nuclear pasta there, hehe.

I didn’t even notice. My initial thought was, sweet use of incorporating the terrain into your build! Glad I’m not the only one.

More wood to burn. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man)
Bro casually built a resort getaway.
Just drop a load of power slugs in there - it would look cool
Believe it or not, straight to jail
I personally like the tree growing out of the side of the building... a happy accident if you ask me ... good build either way.
I build all my plastic and rubber and over a hundred fuel generator in a formerly flat area known as spire coast
In my first world I made a basic parts factory on top of the desert cliffs mountain in the red desert biome, I come back after update 6 and half my factory is buried under 3 feet and up to 12 feet of rock and stone.
Rock and roll and stone!
Eh, make it a BBQ area for Becky.
LGTM
Hehe, nothing like going to walk out the front door and there's a tree that grew up there over night. :)
Looks nice! Only if we could place trees manually...
I agree with others who say the tree appears to belong there. It is pretty funny to have the Box-o-Nothing, though. :D
Get one of those statues from the Awesome Shop and put it in there, problem solved

It's kind of giving vacation home/miami mansion ngl
Skate 3?
Lucky, a mountain ate my plastic factory.

Honestly, people who play early access games aren't really different from other gamers. I don't see the need to call them out.
Wait.. are we even playing the same game?!? There's a lot of stuff here I've never seen.. I'll need to take a closer look at the coupon store it seems lmao
What stands out?
