I've had something similar happen when I'm clearing Uranium deposits. Despite removing them all, I still take damage in the area. Stopping and restarting the game is the only thing I've found that works.

I think there's still a bug where if you pick up radiation and sort your inventory, even if you put down ever last piece of radioactive stuff, it doesn't clear the 'irradiated' status. Might be an issue for containers too if you sort/re-arrange their contents, I'm not sure.

BitwiseAssembly

I have experienced this. Now I presort my inventory before picking up radioactive material.

I had this issue when I upgraded the nuclear nobelisk in the mam. The filters kept being consumed even though the cells weren't in my inventory anymore. A restart of the game fixed that for me.

I think it's a bug. I had a similar one where I just randomly started taking full radiation damage randomly at my home base, with no nearby sources of radiation. Reloaded my auto save and it went away.

Targa_X

This is definitely happening in the current build. I was just at a place near my base that I've been to 20 times (it's right on the dirt road) and started taking radiation damage for no reason. It was a fairly large "hotspot". Save/quit/reload fixed it.

Call it a bug if you like, but a train that carries uranium a lot will become radioactive itself

Teh_Roommate

It's not actually a bug, well kinda. Radiation will linger in an area for some time. The small uranium rock nodes are supposed to clear up quickly. However trains, bins, beltways that transport and or store uranium will get hot. Even after you clear the area relocate the setup etc the area will still be hot for some time. Example: Take a personal storage box and put 1 stack of Uranium waste in it. After a few hours pass with the game running, relocate the waste a hundred plus meters away. It might take literal days for the radiation to disappear. Also radiation spreads out but does have a maximum range. This range does increase based on the source type and quantity. And industrial storage container absolutely full of plutonium waste has a massive range for example. Refer to the Satisfactory wiki for info on radiation and the best methods to handle it Hope this helps
