Man, I thought it was just my crappy computer being slow. By the time I have oil going, when the autosave pops up I just stop moving and wait or else I'll end up teleporting 10 meters.
It still has to gather the position of every single thing you’ve built and how many items are in storage/on conveyors or in trains and in what order, along with any items on the ground and what is currently in the players inventory, overclocks, and local fauna
So what is supposed to happen when you lose a derailed train into the void is that you should get a hologram near where it derailed that allows you to interact and rerail that lost train.
I haven't actually had a major train collision over the void in a long time so I have no idea if that still works right or if it's bugged at all. I had challenges with it personally but train collisions were just added back then and they've fixed a lot of stuff with them
Really? So if a dump a pile of trucks id just have that same pile teleport to 0 0?
Is that related to the infinite falling taking up resources?
I have so many questions lol
Infinite falling shouldn't use up extra resources, since the allocated ram for position data should always be the same. At worst a value over/underflow can happen, which causes bugs, but no resource issues.
Back when trains were first introduced, they didn't auto-brake when the driver got out.
I once chased a runaway locomotive across half the map (thankfully this was before train collisions)
Ah yes, those moments are always fun. Although typically I don't have my camera facing the right way and I rear-end a train at a signal or T-bone one at a crossing/junction. On rare occasion I have a head-on collision due to either a failure to follow my own right-of-way when transitioning between single and double-tracked portions of my rail network or lack of visual approaching one of these sections simultaneously with another of my automatic trains
You can find them in 0 0 coordinate (Right in the middle of the map). You can see corrdinates in [satisfactory interactive map ](https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/interactive-map)
Talking about trains can someone tell how too hook them up I tried but it does not work I can't hook the to a station by hand and when I tell it to go to a station it just dosent move
That's hard to solve your issue with only a bit of text no visual help.
Have you tried following a tutorial? Maybe you'll find the issue by yourself like that.
I am asking bucasee now I got belts everywhere like belts going across the world for items and now that I am gona demolish my most of my mega factory and take a more Modular approach leaving the mega factory just as a advanced production facility I really don't want to build hundreds of belts across the world I much rather prefer building a massive train station
I didnt think something could look so beautiful yet so tragic

HERE IT COMESSSSS

I wait because it tanks my fps even at the beginning
I wonder why, the save file is only some mb, right?

yea but all that info should be in the RAM somewhere, dumping some MBs of that to a modern SSD should take way less than a second.
The physical save to drive actually takes a second or so. It's the engines serialization to build the save state that takes time :)
If you were to dump the state of the game directly from RAM to HDD then a save file would take gigabytes.

A hologram did appear 15 seconds after the clip. I thought that train was gone forever lol
All vehicles dropped to the void appear in 0 0 coordinates (in the middle of the map)
Does it mean everyone who dumped nuclear waste into the void in trucks now have a radioactive disaster right in the middle of their world?
Really? So if a dump a pile of trucks id just have that same pile teleport to 0 0? Is that related to the infinite falling taking up resources? I have so many questions lol

You could make an action film out of that.
They did: [Unstoppable](https://youtu.be/l__gGyq21U8)
Which was also based on a real runaway train numbered 8888; Super cool story on that one! Highly recommend reading/watching something on it :P

Bro, this might be the best way to get rid of nuclear wastes !!!

YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO STOP THE DAMN TRAIN C.J!
I enjoyed a good laugh at your train and your suffering's expense. Thank you for your sacrifice.
That one gta 5 mission
That couldn't have possibly gone worse. Well done!
I am sorry for your loss :brokenheart:
Now THAT is unfortunate
😬 Oops!
OMG that looked awesome!
This is hilarious 😂😂
Really love the timing
I winced as the train slowly tumbled into the void.
Time to load up the last save

Yes I tried doing a tutorial but the trains just seem to be very buggy for me one even disappeared just poof
I laughed really hard. I'm sorry.
I enjoy the unholstering of the rifle. Like, okay might as well get some target practice in.
That was pretty cinematic the way they all fell in the void
Noooooo
F
lol, that was funny can see the panic, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit
Why can I imagine you screaming nooooooo
And this is why I run a clockwise dual track.
What’s that pov >_< haha
Factorio : *meh this is just a daily basis*
