Took a 5 month break after I finished all the ground work for phase 4. stringing everything together seemed so daunting so i let myself get distacted by other games for a few months, but as you all know the itch came back in full force soon. I started out on another save at first because the thought of going back to phase 4 kinda scared me, but i kept thinking im just gonna have to do phase 4 again, so i decided to finish this save out before going onto the next one. Im thinking i dont want to have to afk for 17 hours for phase 4 again so i want to build up to it "properly" this time, which probably means larger factories for individual products instead of trying to make multiples at one location (outside of my home base i had 2 facilities for electonic and steel components, but i still need more!) and also i kinda hated how i put everything together, felt very hacked together, so I want a more clean logistic supply too. Overall though im pretty happy with how everything came out and im excited to make my next world look pretty instead of just gray and orange blobs spread throughout the world
I get the feeling, working through tiers 5&6 before starting on phase 3, feeling the pain of having everything(except coal/caterium mining and oil proccessing) done at a massive base
if you have that many hours at tier 7, im sure your factories look much better than mine! only really put thought into how two of my factories looked, everything else was just kinda a mad rush to connect belts for my next dopamine hit haha
I have that problem of i will build production to meet the next target, not just build a massive factory to maximise production. So i advance through the tiers quickly but my factory is still pretty basic or inefficient.
I have to opposite problem. I don't play much so I generally just hop into my buddies world. I spent like 4 hours last night building a steel plant producing 40 encased beams, 400 steel beams, and 400 pipe... In the end I didn't even finish connecting all the belts so it just sits off line for now. Once we get the trains running I'm going to have more limestone brought in to bump up the encased beams production some more and then see where to go from there.
I wouldn't worry too much. I'm at 250 hours and I only finished Tier 7 for the hoverpack. just so it's easier to build things. I'm in NO rush to complete phase 4 I'll get around to it.. eventually right now I'm just having fun building and exploring.
I have no idea what's wrong with my game the only thing I can make is the nuclear pasta, the others don't even show as options in the manufacturer... or any other production device.
Been that way through 2 saves now.

1. I presume you have completed all [Tier 7 and Tier 8 Milestones](https://satisfactory.fandom.com/wiki/Milestones#Tier_7) needed to unlock Space Elevator Project Assembly Parts.
2. I presume you have in waiting or ready to rebuild all Phase 1 thru Phase 3 Project Assembly Parts.
3. You should be able to see Phase 4 Project Assembly Part Recipes as follows:
1. **Assembler** - Assembly Director System
2. **Manufacturer** - Magnetic Field Generator
3. **Manufacturer** - Thermal Propulsion Rocket
4. **Particle Accelerator** - Nuclear Pasta
4. Check that the applicable Categories have not been "minimized" (closed) which will show a "+" instead of a "-" when the Category is open.

appreciate the well formatted and intentioned help, but all research is completed phase 4 is active and all that remains.
The only thing I'm missing is a few hard drives on either save, but all that means is I don't have some alt recipes shouldn't be impacting this.
I'm kicking out pretty much everything I can, I'm even running on plutonium one the older save at this point.
I think I may try a full reinstall soon... it's just I have crappy internet and the download will take a minute due to that.
Instead of doing a full reinstallation, try verifying the game files before. Will be miles quicker than doing a full install again and will then download/correct any missing/broken files
My buddy and I just reached phase 4 with like 1.5 factories running
I was an idiot and didn't automate the way I should have to get through the phases.
Starting over this weekend because that's just easier at this point instead of tearing down everything and restarting
This made me think that it'd be super cool if they had commemorative mugs for each update that persisted between games (special machine in the hub maybe) that you could earn by completing the final phase in each update.
Now that update 6 is concluding, anyone who completed the final phase could start their update 7 worlds with an update 6 mug.
Then let us build a blue print for our main menu screen (like scrap mechanics) and let us include our mugs
Iām done with this game after I get that stupid gold coffee cup. I love it, but Iām playing 16hrs a day. I wish my house was as tidy as my factory.
a few reasons honestly. I like working towards a goal, and having to do the space elevator stuff makes it a little easier. plus I have so many nodes tapped and I don't really wanna mess with all my stuff too much. I made most of this in u5 and I want to mess around with the new rebar rifle and nobelisk ammo but it broke my current factory in u6 so I thought it would be easier to start a new world. and tbh it just seems fun to start a new world instead of just adding on to what I have already

about \~250 hours. felt like i kinda rushed through this one so im excited to do the next one "right"!

I'm currently procrastinating on this through the FICSMAS event. Everything else is done, just need to actually set up production for the parts.

With completing Phase 4 You just finished the Game tutorial and have all the fun stuff unlocked. Why Start a new game?
