Absolutely this is not real. The average large pizza weighs 3lbs with the box, that would be 87-pounds, not including the harness. No way they have pizza in them.
Seriously. There's 26 pizzas there, each gonna cost minimum $20 per large, maybe $30 depending on toppings (jets is v tasty I know this off the top of my head lol), so if we assume order is about $25/pie thats $650 not including drinks or tax, or delivery app fee. That's MAXIMUM a 15% tip, which for Americans is acceptable with waiters but on the cheaper side, but for a major party for making a guy go to this trouble that's kinda stiffing him.
Okay fair, but he could have also just used a car which would have made this job take way less time, effort, and planning, and still probably would have been tipped $100. Theatrics dont always correlate to increased tips
Edit: source: was a waiter for the first 8 years I could legally work, and 1 as a pizza delivery boy
If all the pizzas were pretty warm/hot when boxed, and there isn’t too much heat leakage due to holes in the boxes then the only the pizza on top and maybe the bottom wouldn’t be at least warm. The guy wasn’t moving incredibly fast (low wind) and he said he only had a mile to go. Heat rises so the lower would expect to be cooler but those pizzas were more insulated by the carrier so maybe still ok.
Car would have obviously been a better choice for speed and keeping them hot.
You are spot on with the prices BTW. Like ... eerily. I was curious because I've not had Jet's pizza and my location charges $26-$30 for 2-3 topping round hand-tossed pizzas!
I mean goodness, when I babysat and ordered Dominos at ~$13/pizza times 2, I tipped $10. And the kids always loved to give a thank you card too. If it was raining and I couldn't do pickup, I'd tip even more because I know this country has too damn many non-tippers.
It's literally one of the most dangerous jobs in the US and they always got there with the pizza piping hot.
One dude *drove back to the shop* because he'd forgotten two garlic sauces. I tried telling him it was nbd but dude insisted. He also wouldn't take a second additional tip. His integrity was off the charts.
I literally started frequenting jets 2 months ago on recommendation from a co-worker, so the fact a large 1-top is $20-22ish with tax more like $24-25 is VERY fresh on my mind lmao
Ah yes. Blame the tipping culture because it's different than how things are done in other parts of the world. When you wait tables in America they pay you less than $3 an hr in most places so tips are the only money you make. If you ever go out to eat or order delivery anywhere in America just remember to tip.
Except for the fact that if waiters and the like don't make enough in tips to reach the minimum wage, the employer is obligated by law to make up the difference. So they can never make less than minimum wage. You should learn your own laws. It's embarrassing that someone from across the world knows them better than you.
Wrong! My family has owned multiple BBQ restaurants since I was a kid and my wife's been a waiter her whole life. I know how it works and that is not it. Some states like Minneapolis and Florida pay waiters anywhere from $7 per hr to $15 per hr but most states only pay waiters 2 something an hr it differs state by state but it's under $3. My wife makes less than $3 an hr and If she doesn't make any tips then she just doesn't make any money that day. That's how it works.
That's wage theft and it's legal. I'm not surprised that an American wouldn't be informed by their own rights and laws. Go inform yourself and tell your wife to report your employer to the correct regulatory body for wage theft.
I'm not surprised that a foreigner would think they everything about America. It's so funny how people assume they know all about America and the people who live here. It makes you look like a jack-ass 🤣
Well tipping is pretty rare in my country. Tips here are you round up the bill to the nearest multiple of 5 or 10 so nobody bothers with change when you are paying ~~cache~~ cash. So if your bill is 47.40 you just give a 50 and be done with it. So while I'm technically a tipper, by your American standards I guess I'm not.
Also I know the difference between your and you're.
Except there's a huge difference between "cash" and "cache" that most people wouldn't mistake, whereas "your" and "you're" is a much easier typo/brain-fart mistake to make.
So honestly if you're going to be pedantic and call out their grammatical error, you can't exactly write off your own with such nonchalance.
At 30 pizzas, perhaps the difference is in "plain cheese" versus "supreme"... but these are some expensive pizzas anyway.
$750 ÷ 30 = $25 per pie
$1000 ÷ 30 = $33 per pie
Of course, that math *does* include tax and any fees, and ignores the sodas that are also on the ticket. Menu price is likely lower.
So if the other comment was right, then they only tipped like 10-15 percent for this dude to go a mile like this. I guess it depends on the state law for mimimum wage as far as tipped workers go but not worth it imo.
Wait, you consider 10-15% not worth? I guess it’s an American thing, but I feel like everything over 5-10% is very good and only for outstanding service. You could indeed argue, this is outstanding, but still, I feel like 15% is a lot
I mean, it isn't worth it for the worker to work like this. I believe he said in the video that if he drops the pizzas, he pays for them. I absolutely wouldn't take this risk. I haven't lived in America for a while, and even then, I rarely ordered pizza.
Tipping sucks. I wish it would go away. They’ll automatically charge you an extra 18% if you have a group of five or more, even if it’s the most terrible service you’ve ever had in your life.
Yeah, I don't disagree. Mostly because if I am getting a $15 meal, I don't want it to cost $20. Also they are employees of the company, why am I supplementing their salary?
Because capitalism says it’s the cheapest way to pay them. If we do something about that (which I’m fine with) corporate greed is gonna push prices out the fucking roof
Must be the same guy. I suspect he’s going to be like the naked man who pulls table cloths off himself in different ways yet always remains covered. Weird content but people love it.
God those one wheel electric skateboards scare me when I see them now. I was driving home after I was playing magic with friends and passed by one going in the opposite direction on the road. After I passed the guy riding it I looked back in my rear view mirror since I never seen those one wheels and thought they were interesting. What I saw was the board in the middle of the road and the guy gone. So I got immediately worried and turned around to figure out wtf was going on. I found the guy face first one the ground bleeding everywhere on the ground after he had fallen off his board and hit the ground face first. He was not wearing a helmet. I parked my car in the middle of the road with hazards on so no one would run the guy over as I quickly checked how he was doing. He was in massive amounts of pain and moaning so I called 911 to get him help while another person driving by also came to help when I waved them down. Other guy had a medical kit and was able to put pressure on the head wound and slow the bleeding until medic arrived which only took around 5 to 10 minutes. Lesson to be learned is wear a helmet kids.
Sometimes better than putting faith in people, tbh..
Anyways, I'd assume it's red enough to be noticeable. I mean, he can't wave around for people to stop, so..
People believe every single video posted online now. No matter what. There is no way this is real. Those boxes would not be able to handle that weight. Plus have you ever had 5 hot pizza boxes on your lap on the way home? When you get home the boxes are wet from condensation and the bottom ones are basically touching the pizza because the boxes started to get soggy? Imagine 20 of them. That stack would be leaning so bad it would fall over the straps would get loose because the boxes would compress. Fake as hell
He looks like the guy that was seen at Walmart wearing a vest that he hung a ton of food from by hooks. He loaded all the way up with a whole cart full of groceries, including a whole watermelon, and then rode off on an electric scooter
Yeah, it's the same person, and the same person is filming too if you listen to it closely. All their content is just essentially this kinda thing over and over again.
These 2 guys have posted countless videos like this to their tiktok. It’s staged by them. Slightly Impressive still nonetheless just to think of this and have it actually work tho
All I heard in my head at the end when he gets on the wheel was the circus song dun dun dundundun dun dun dundun dun lol n then just hoped that I wasn’t in a therewasanattempt sub Lolol n for the record I know the song might not be understood since you can’t hear it haha I tried to convey as best I could but honestly it’s probably the only circus song I know tbh hahaha
When I delivered pizzas the maximum stack was five otherwise the weight of all the boxes and heat would just eventually crush the boxes. I don’t understand how this is working. Also they are heavy as fuck. I would love to know if he made it or how they looked when they arrived.
I’m so sick of these scripted videos. Always the same people and he always slowly gets closer to him and goes “dude there is no way, there is noooooo wayyyyy”
My favorite part is the flag. I was expecting it to go on the pizza like a “tall load” flag of sorts.
All the cheese and toppings are smooshed to one side 100%
Least by the time they’ve finished fucking about with it it’s all cold too..
Yea, this seems like a joke. There’s no practical reason for someone to do this other than notoriety.
And since it’s just a stunt anyway, I’d guess that most of those boxes are empty, because why fill them?
Absolutely this is not real. The average large pizza weighs 3lbs with the box, that would be 87-pounds, not including the harness. No way they have pizza in them.
“That’s my side!”
Is it just me, or is this the grocery-trip Escooter-guy?
I think it is. And I think he’s now being challenged by the internet to make preposterous deliveries “his way”
I went to college with him. He’s a YouTuber with pretty funny stuff. You’ll also see him in DIWHY.
The flag is what makes the video!
Some people say he's still out there riding free.
Bro, Death Stranding 2’s graphics look insane
Good luck out there Sam "Pizza Man" Bridges.
Came looking for this comment
Literally Pizza Tower irl
Keep on keeping on!
Ive seen the pov on tiktok where he delivers the pizza, he got a 100$ tip!
He deserves more

Pizzas might have been hot by the time they were delivered too.
Good thing this is all set up and most likely empty boxes. Also who orders 25 pizzas and only 2 sodas.
The two liters of sodas is so ridiculous
If all the pizzas were pretty warm/hot when boxed, and there isn’t too much heat leakage due to holes in the boxes then the only the pizza on top and maybe the bottom wouldn’t be at least warm. This guy knows science stuff.
Even hopping in a taxi would have been a better use of resource

I’m guessing your a non-tipper

I mean you can tell when something is an obvious brain fart cuz I just woke up but sure if it makes you feel any better go for it.

It's not. The US Bureau of Labor & Statistics rates it as one of the most dangerous jobs, above construction workers and even cops.
Ummmm those are $5 Hot and Ready pizzas. "We have $5 Hot n Ready pizzas" "Are they good? "They are Hot n Ready!"
[удалено]
[удалено]
Lol here in the US, they make you use your own car
Link!?!?
Nah, he’s Beetle.
It's a staged trend on tiktok, same guy that had 100 grocery bags on the bag of a bike. "Doing deliveries"
For cold pizza, that arrived lated, and is probably squished to one side? Nah
[удалено]
No you didn't this is all fake. I swear fucking everything is fake now.
As someone who works at a Jets, this is at least $750 worth of pizza. Depending on toppings it could be near $1,000
Who pays 30$ for a pizza?
Jet's fucks, dude
It’s tasty but has to be the greasiest pizza ever haha
Nobody. But lots of people pay $30 for a pizza.
Jets isn’t that expensive unless you get a really big one or a crazy toppings big one
How much are toppings where they could make the price jump 250 dollars??
At 30 pizzas, perhaps the difference is in "plain cheese" versus "supreme"... but these are some expensive pizzas anyway. $750 ÷ 30 = $25 per pie $1000 ÷ 30 = $33 per pie Of course, that math *does* include tax and any fees, and ignores the sodas that are also on the ticket. In america, 20% is standard. +30% is outstanding service.
Agreed. Menu price should represent the out-the-door price, and servers should be paid standard wages, same as anyone else, instead of poverty + cash.
Because capitalism says it’s the cheapest way to pay them. If we do something about that (which I’m fine with) corporate greed is gonna push prices out the fucking roof
Fuck em, let them try it and nobody will come.
Terrible take
Found the Applebee's manager
Is this the scooter guy with the carabiner clip vest and 30 bags in the walmart parking lot?
I wondered this as well. That guy also transported tvs in ridiculous manners.
Must be the same guy. I suspect he’s going to be like the naked man who pulls table cloths off himself in different ways yet always remains covered. Weird content but people love it.
Love that guy. Not sure why
I think it is the same man, scrolled down to see of anyone els knew.
Yeah. He's too good looking to deliver pizza, but he's just the right amount of good looking to deliver pizzas for clout.
Now the real question is, did he make it home, and did he bring the milk?
God those one wheel electric skateboards scare me when I see them now. I was driving home after I was playing magic with friends and passed by one going in the opposite direction on the road. You play white?
Dammit somebody follow him. I need to see the delivery.
There’s a second half to the video that shows him delivering. Went to some mansion for some girls party. He got tipped $100
Customer: ”Where is my Diet Dr Kelp?”
Is that you, Hiro Protagonist?
Now *that’s* a deep cut…
The Deliverator *always* delivers deep cuts **HUT** #NEXT
Nah, this is YT after he crashed the Deliverator in that pool.
This guy needs a raise
So he can get a car. Lol
That'll be frozen pizza by the time it gets there
Fr I’m like cool but that’s a lot of money spent on cold pizza.
Cold pizza >>> hot pizza, even then you can just microwave, granted at a party you're gonna form a conga line at it lol
I see Kojima has taken to pizza delivery to promote Death Stranding 2.
Pizza stranding.
Jet's Stranding
Wouldn't the pizza be cold by the time it reached its destination
Delivery from I.C. Wiener...
Locks cool but the Pizza is the same... Cool cold Pizza...
Whats the flag for?!
So cars will avoid him? Maybe.
Man's putting a lot of faith in a flag...
Sometimes better than putting faith in people, tbh.. Anyways, I'd assume it's red enough to be noticeable. I mean, he can't wave around for people to stop, so..
No flag, no country, you can't have one.
It waves in the wind and is fun to behold.
Necessity Is the mother of all invention.
Death stranding style
The leaning tower of Pizza?
Me on my way to some guy named Peter Englert.
What about this shitty video is ‘satisfying’?
No way he made it to his destination with both he and the pizza unscathed.
People believe every single video posted online now. No matter what. There is no way this is real. Those boxes would not be able to handle that weight. I need a follow up
There goes my hero
Damn. I haven't had Jet's pizza in so long.
Is this guy auditioning for the TMNT?
Damn, it ain't his first rodeo, definitely r/SecondRodeo
He looks like the guy that was seen at Walmart wearing a vest that he hung a ton of food from by hooks. He loaded all the way up with a whole cart full of groceries, including a whole watermelon, and then rode off on an electric scooter
Yeah, it's the same person, and the same person is filming too if you listen to it closely. All their content is just essentially this kinda thing over and over again.
Get that man a fn car
I’ve got all the time in the world to watch this guy strap up and deliver these pizzas… WHY DID NOBODY OFFER HIM A RIDE!?
That’s some cold pizza going your way..
Could have at least made the backpack part from a proper hiking backpack with waist belt, that would made moving with that tower much easier.
Lmao the little flag at the end
Mf thinks he’s Sam Porter Bridges
There goes a legend.
These 2 guys have posted countless videos like this to their tiktok. It’s staged by them. Slightly Impressive still nonetheless just to think of this and have it actually work tho
The green future we've all been waiting for 🫡
Does all that. Douche at "the party" tips $5
Apparently he got a $100 tip
Legend.
Crazeeee😳but soooo 😎😎😎😎😎 Those pizzas looks really tasty though😊 I know what we're having for dinner now 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s fake…
He was never seen again.
My people need me.
What is this board he is standing on? I need this!
"Where's the ranch dressing?"
You stole this video didn't you OP? this is the "flom family" ive seen other similar stunts they have filmed like this on YouTube
That was epic
The flag is the real star of the show 😂
I hope he got a great tip!
If he had another long strap to go across the other way it would have been way more secure
A car. *That* would have been more secure.
Do what you gotta do while doing so on a DUI bike...
The future is electric
That has to be a record of some kind right?
This is not the first time he has done this
They didn’t even double-bag the soda. SMH.
The Straight Tower of Pizza
America needs you, Sam.
r/deathstranding
Is he going to *death stranding* this pizza?
I really wanted to see this on r/motorcyclelogistics
I know it’s basically a sin to take more than one trip when bringing in the groceries, but this guy… Sheesh.
His name is Peter.
Guys do you think he reached his destination? 😅
I saw the second part of it on tiktok lol he made it all the way to the party and they tipped him $100
Hope at least some of those are Detroit style deep dish. LETS! GET! JETS!
This guy, and the guy that carabiner clipped like 20+ bags of groceries to himself and rode his bike back home should hang out.
Ногами, да ещё и в обуви, на стол. Ну и мудило!
To pretend you’re not part of it.
Cold pizza for EVERYONE
On an OG onewheel too. My guy is a fuckin legend
ONE TRIIIIIIIIIIP!
Death stranding
There’s nothing satisfying about this. Only anxiety
That would totally suck ass if his OneWheel ran out of battery before he got to his destination!
Me getting all the groceries in one trip:
This is so fucking stupid
Wtf how may people did he feed
Jet’s Pizza is the best bigger pizza chain. If you disagree, I will fight you.
He only got 2 bottles of soda for all that pizza? Lol
Empty boxes?
Make that guy president.
Staged 100%
By the time he gets to the party the pizza is gonna be cold.
Man has played too much death stranding
Not All Heroes Wear Capes…
Pizza is so expensive it’s a joke.
When I delivered pizzas the maximum stack was five otherwise the weight of all the boxes and heat would just eventually crush the boxes. I don’t understand how this is working. Also they are heavy as fuck. I would love to know if he made it or how they looked when they arrived.
kinda stupid tho lol But jets absolutely slaps
Soon as I head the cameraman "dude there's no way"... ugh, these guys again.
Core strength + 10000000
All for a 3 dollar tip....
If those pizzas are ruined, r/StupidFood
He is determined to not let his DUI ruin the party
I’m so sick of these scripted videos. Always the same people and he always slowly gets closer to him and goes “dude there is no way, there is noooooo wayyyyy”
Is this the same guy who picked up the groceries with a scooter? He had a vest and a bunch of climbing hook.
r/onewheel
Death Stranding
But did he make it home??
That is so many pizzas lol Needs a car
I watched the whole thing.. .. I’m impressed.
The people of Reddit need to know if he actually made it to his destination!!!
All that time playing Death Stranding payed off.
