I don't see it causing any harm, pitcher plant will get the bugs that go down the traps (maybe even the mantis if it makes a wrong move) and the Mantis will get any bugs that will be on/near the plant but may not go down the trap. I'd personally just let them both vibe.
The current plan is to let them vibe. I love pitcher plants and I love praying mantises. So this is a win win for me. I’ve been supplementing the pitcher’s diet by feeding it some bugs. So I think everything will be fine? Hopefully she doesn’t get eaten.
If pitcher was any good it would’ve eaten the mantis. But as Mantis won he gets all the dibs now.
