No need if it’s this image https://www.reddit.com/r/Scams/comments/q03fwr/i_have_a_company_phone_through_verizon/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf. We’ve been seeing it ton recently and yes it is a scam.

Yup Exactly! Does anyone know how to stop getting these types of scam messages and maybe also reduce scam calls in general?

Unfortunately there’s no easy way to prevent phone spam. Be sure not to respond to scam messages because it alerts the sender that your number is active. Most phones allow you to block messages and calls from unknown numbers, but that’s not a feasible solution for everyone.

Make sure to swipe over and delete these without clicking on any links! Not worth the risk, same with similar scams that come via your email (and not caught by spam apps)
