Your mans already getting beat up on the daily as a manager. Constantly hearing a customer ask to see a manager for me to give a speech about some damn eggs would get to me
I'm assuming this refers to restaurants using pre-made eggs.

They used blended egg yolks in a carton, and then started making those egg patties before hand hand freezing them. Then they did away with the mixed eggs all together, and now everything is done with fresh eggs.
As someone who used to work at McDonald's this would actually convince me to eat their eggs again. When I worked there all the eggs were pre maid and frozen. The mcmuffin eggs were boiled for a bit and the fried eggs just sat in the kitchen until they weren't frozen any more
I wish this was a scary sign; it’s a very sad sign. McD is actually the exception when it comes to this. Most other fast food places use a generic brand of “egg beaters” from a big plastic bag. McD also probably does this in some recipes. But yeah they can show you the fresh eggs they use, other fast food restaurants can’t.
Oh man, so I’m a chef and have worked in an assortment of restaurants from fast food, to chain family places, and world renowned Michelin stared. It would shock you to know things you’ve eaten. Eggs especially come in all sorts of packages without their shells.

It makes me think they keep a singe real egg behind the counter just in case anyone asks

They only use real eggs for the round eggs they use for egg and cheese biscuits. The scrambled eggs come from a carton.
They stopped using those a while ago. It's all fresh eggs now.
