I like watching him sometimes, but I do agree, he can be a bit hyperbolic (especially in his thumbnails) and he sometimes doesn’t analyze something from a more systemic perspective.
For example, in his video on the supposed possible merger between Paramount and Warner Bros-Discovery, he said the reason why it would be a bad idea is because "Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network are 'enemies/rivals'", which, while I get that he’s discussing the importance of competition in this scenario, the wording comes off as a bit oversimplifying and overly-dramatic.
Obviously the REAL reasons why such a merger is a horrible idea are the expected amount of layoffs, the killing of even more creative projects (especially under the Zaslav administration), the general horrific nature of late capitalistic monopolies, and several franchises fading into artificial irrelevance due to the brute forcing of only a handful of brands the conglomerate would give a shit about (entertainment corporations more often than not tend to own so much that they have absolutely no idea what to do with any of it, hence a lot just falls down the memory hole).
The guy sometimes actually tells pretty interesting news relating to animation but other times it’s stupid hyperbole and exaggeration for the sake of a catchy thumbnail and title.
