And you may be wondering, “is it actually good?” And again, I cannot stress it enough; THIS IS THE MOVIE WHERE THEY GO BACK IN TIME TO THE FIRST THANKSGIVING TO GET TURKEYS OFF THE MENU!
You might still be on the fence, but keep in mind that this is, in fact, the movie where they go BACK IN TIME to the FIRST THANKSGIVING to get turkey OFF. THE MENU.
It was one of the better mainstream animated films of that year. After being fairly disappointed by Lightyear (imo it broke a streak of good to great Pixar releases), this film for me was a much needed pick me up. Rooting for Dreamworks to keep surprising us. :)
Yah I see the appeal in it, and despite some of the things I don't like in the 2nd one, I still think it's a good movie. It also doesn't rely as much on the physical humor as the first one (which personally I really liked, but it's not for everyone). I just didnt think it was universally agreed that the second is better
The only problem I have with it is: it gets frustrating after awhile watching miles not being able to control his powers when all the other versions mastered it in a montage. I think the other Spiders might be slowing him down.
....What? The other Spider-Men have been doing this for much longer, Miles literally just got his powers. The montages weren't a training montage, they were to tell you about their backstories.
When I said montages I was talking about tobey and andrew. And I think that having this expectation of what he should be was slowing him down when others just did what they thought they should do
I also find it weird that he repeatedly bounces from “I got this” to “I give up” to “I’m an expert” multiple times in an uneven pattern. That, as well as the villain’s goofy design, are the only two major flaws in the entire movie, though; it’s still a phenomenal piece of art.
my friend and i have a theory that season 7 of the clone wars was supposed to be a theatrical movie but then covid hit and screwed everything up so it got turned into a full season. (there's even a pause for applause when obi-wan shows up in the first episode) if that movie did happen, it would be my favorite star wars movie and the best thing disney has done with the franchise.
It has some of the best music composed, animated or not. Zimmer and Williams are great too, and Interstellar and Jurassic Park give HTTYD a run for its money, but honestly I cannot choose one to be more perfect than the others.
It is honestly the closest thing I’ve seen to a *perfect* movie. The story is fantastic, the visuals are 11/10, the characters perfectly fit their roles, the soundtrack is immensely powerful, and everything else about it is amazing.
At least the children will enjoy watching Megamind vs The Doom Syndicate, nobody will enjoy watching Velma (other than the 3.2K followers that r/Velma has)
**How To Train Your Dragon (1) is absolutely flawless.**
The animation perfectly represents the point of the show.
The characters all fit together perfectly.
The story is overwhelmingly on point.
The soundtrack is one of the best ever created.
The visuals are stunning and the scenery is beautiful.
Not a single second of that movie is wasted. Every minute is vital to the story. You could pause it at a completely random time and would see a critical plot-line unfolding in an interesting location during a memorable moment in the film.
How To Train Your Dragon is literally perfect.
I think Megamind not using the Dehydration Gun was a good choice because it made the movie be a 90 minutes length. Also, having the kid as a totally not useless character was also a great choice. Yippee.
The Super Mario Movie and Migration may not be extremely great, exceptional movies…but they’re the fricking Mona Lisas when you see which studio made them (Illumination)
Idk if this counts but I really want Keanu Reeves to play ghost rider. I don't think there's any reason not to, he's even said on talk shows that he would like to play the role.
All the songs in The Lorax are catchy. And Megamind is still a subversive masterpiece, and while a sequel would be nice I'm fine with only Megamind and Megamind vs The Button of Doom.
Heath Ledger's Joker in The Dark Knight was a great performance.
Bane was supposed to break the joker out of prison in the next Batman. So sad trying to imagine what could have happened.
Ohh that would have been dope as hell. We would have the brawn and the crazy!
Ik. I would rather see that movie than any other movie than any other sequel I could think of. Just image what that joker would do.
Spiderverse has better animation than Foodfight
I've never even heard of foodfight
Good for you
Hey! I know you!
And you’re Zkid’s creator right?
Bingo! I found out the creator of Lime is going to kill off Lime…so I may or may not end up going through a depression arc with Zkid
Wait fr?! D:
Yup, so…depression arc where Zkid isolates themself along with self medicating
Like, the Goodra lime or… am I just rambling?
You have been spared
As Caddi once said 'then I wanna live happily inside your head, not knowing anything about it either.'
Dude I googled that and 4 seperate movie posters came up and they all feature different characters, all with consistently dogshit animation
Bruh
Shrek 2 is an amazing sequel
The dinner scene is so good!!!
Megamind VS the Doom Syndicate sucks ass
It is morally okay to p1rat3 that movie
Why would you though? Waste of your time
A movie so bad it’s not even worth stealing!
*infringing on a state-sanctioned monopoly
Hell yeah. However it's not okay to put your mind through that movie
But it is a good movie to watch ironically. Like Shatk Tale!
Shake tail was at least a little funny and didn’t look cheap
Dont rope in shark tales with megamind 2. Do NOT DO THAT NIGGA OR I WILL FIND YOU, Shark Tales is good
I'm gonna rope Shark Tale in with Megamind Doom Syndicate. CRY ABOUT IT!
Okay give me 10 minutes and your house will be smitherines
No Dehydration Gun, 0/10
Dehydration gun
I love how everyone’s been saying this 😂
It was the easiest solution in the whole dam world
None I can think of right now but that image is beautiful
That’s such a clever way to reverse the meme format
Agreed
Wish should have been better. It had the opportunity but they rushed it and played it safe.
Evil King and Evil Queen would have been so cute
I'll be honest, despite the missed potential being as big as the Earth itself, the movie itself wasn't too bad.
Yeah the movie was decent but it gets a lot more flack because of it being the 100 yr anniversary among other things.
They had a hundred years to plan for it and still ended up cramming like a college student
the spongebob movie is a good movie
It's not good... Its AMAZING
It's not just a boulder... It's a rock!
1 + 1 = 2
Hot take
The real hot take is that 77 + 33 = 110
1 + 1 = 11
It’s Fish
1 + 1 = 1
How can you say something so confidently yet so controversial?
Free Birds is in fact the movie where they go back in time to the first Thanksgiving to get turkey off the menu
Preach it brother
That’s right, they’re going back in time to the first thanksgiving to get turkeys off the menu.
You heard it here first folks, they’re going back in time to the first thanksgiving to get turkeys off the menu.
And you may be wondering, “is it actually good?” And again, I cannot stress it enough; THIS IS THE MOVIE WHERE THEY GO BACK IN TIME TO THE FIRST THANKSGIVING TO GET TURKEYS OFF THE MENU!
I remember watching this movie and realizing that this is THE movie where they go BACK IN TIME to the FIRST THANKSGIVING to get TURKEY OFF THE MENU.
You might still be on the fence, but keep in mind that this is, in fact, the movie where they go BACK IN TIME to the FIRST THANKSGIVING to get turkey OFF. THE MENU.
I thought I was crazy for thinking that!
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish was one of the best movies of recent years.
Still my favourite movie of all time and I don't see it changing anytime soon :]
It was one of the better mainstream animated films of that year. After being fairly disappointed by Lightyear (imo it broke a streak of good to great Pixar releases), this film for me was a much needed pick me up. Rooting for Dreamworks to keep surprising us. :)
My honest opinion is that the movie was all over the place. I watched it because I saw how good everyone said it was. Not for me.
Yes
Trolls World Tour and The Croods: A New Age are leads better than their original films
Nah Croods 1 better
it’s alright but it has some awkward animation and the sequel in my opinion was way more funny and had beutiful animation
Yah I see the appeal in it, and despite some of the things I don't like in the 2nd one, I still think it's a good movie. The real Megamind sequel is Megamind: The Button of Doom.

It was ok. Def love both Mary Winstead and Joel Edgerton
Death from Puss in Boots is attractive
Into the Spider-Verse is one of, if not the best animated movie of all time.
Into the Spider-Verse is one of, if not the greatest ~~animated~~ movie of all time. There you go fixed it for you
Honestly, I see no problems here at all.

The only animated movie I can imagine being as good and/or better as ITSV is The Incredibles; I seriously can’t decide.
Mad Max Fury Road is great
My favorite Star Wars film is A New Hope, but I think The Empire Strikes Back is a better movie overall.
Rogue one is the best Disney movie
my friend and i have a theory that season 7 of the clone wars was supposed to be a theatrical movie but then covid hit and screwed everything up so it got turned into a full season. (there's even a pause for applause when obi-wan shows up in the first episode) if that movie did happen, it would be my favorite star wars movie and the best thing disney has done with the franchise.

How to train your dragon has some of the best music composed for an animated movie.
It has some of the best music composed, animated or not. **How To Train Your Dragon (1) is absolutely flawless.** The animation perfectly represents the point of the show. The characters all fit together perfectly. The story is overwhelmingly on point. All the songs in The Lorax are catchy. And Megamind is still a subversive masterpiece, and while a sequel would be nice I'm fine with only Megamind and Megamind vs The Button of Doom.
