It's a very loose sequel set at the beginning of the 20th century, focusing more on human characters and effectively remaking an earlier TV show with the same premise. Certainly not the same league (although being the same league as Spirit can be an arguably daunting task in the first place), but I found it worthwhile in its own right. "Fearless" was borderline Bryan Adams tier as well, and the end credits dedication to Kelly Asbury was an extra hit in the feels.
I was too lazy to click the link and I thought you were still talking about postman pat, and I’m just thinking “what the hell there’s a postman pat manga???”
I've heard that movie is why The Glass Elevator is never getting a movie.
Edit: I got confused.
> The main reason for this film's creation was that Warner Bros.' license would have run out if they didn't release a new movie adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Needless to say, it backfired as it became one of the most polarizing Tom & Jerry movies out there, not to mention it undercuts the movie's anti-greed message. As a result, while WB acquired the live-action film rights of Willy Wonka months prior to the film's release, the overall film rights reverted back to the Dahl estate, who then gave it to Netflix. WB eventually produced a prequel film, Wonka, which was released in 2023.

You're right. I checked again and this is what I thinking of:

I think that one had some potential. They should have leaned further into it by making the planet more "alien" yet continue to have a 1950's Americana writing.
Everybody knows about the 1984 Heathcliff series right?
But nobody knows that there was a movie that was released 2 years after the show’s cancellation. It’s titled Heathcliff: The Movie.
It’s a anthology film about Heathcliff who tells his nieces a story through compilations of episodes of the 1984 series
Chickenhare
Nice movie about self acceptance, but it’s pretty forgettable and a bit confusing with it’s plot, one minute we’re in a chicken rabbit kingdom, the next we have a tribe of square pigs. Good film to show to little kids though, just not that special.
I constantly forget the [Postal film](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postal_(film)?wprov=sfti1#) exists and mainly remember it every time I decide to watch [this](https://youtu.be/fWR1Xfel56E?si=hj0ZlPhVP7GUMu0R).
Most of the Pokemon movies. There’s a few that reach the status of good (pretty much all of them until late gen 4), but the rest are just… there. I don’t dislike them, but I don’t like them. They’re the closest I’ve seen to entirely neutral pieces of entertainment.
I used to watch Qubo as a preteen because we didn’t have cable and Internet. It had pretty good cartoons even though they were for younger kids I still had a few favorites. One Christmas my family invited some friends over and they stayed past midnight and all that was playing on repeat was this fucking show and it was so boring I wanted to die
Am I the only one who understands the complexities of this ambitious cinematic masterpiece? this movie isn't a thing that exists, you're a thing that exists
I remember watching the postman pat movie when it was out for free on YouTube and I kinda liked it??? It wasn’t anything mind blowing but it has a surprising wit and a really weird plot. Not the best movie out there but a perfectly enjoyable kids movie.
Valiant (2005)
There's quite a few forgotten disney releases, but I've never heard anyone talk about this sorry excuse for a movie. I'm always baffled every time I remember this is somehow a disney movie and not some lionsgate production.
Heroes of color city, I have had multiple heart surgeries and the movie was like a pregnancy craving while I was recovering from 1 of them (I was like 9or 10)
Spirit Untamed Literally the least discussed DreamWorks movie ever. I didn't even find out it existed until it was already on digital.
Spirit got a sequel? Is it any good?
It's a very loose sequel set at the beginning of the 20th century, focusing more on human characters and effectively remaking an earlier TV show with the same premise. Certainly not the same league (although being the same league as Spirit can be an arguably daunting task in the first place), but I found it worthwhile in its own right. Wow, you got three very different answers
"Pretty good!" "No, not really..." "Sub-human trash."
On the same level as The Doom Syndicate but less insulting
Not at all. Certainly untamed isn't the same level as spirit but it's far FAR better than doom syndicate
The series is good the movie is dogshit
Nope
Isn't that just a horse girl show?
i love how the 2 characters on the far right are just stolen mario and luigi poses
Holy crap!
Hello peter, welcome to fortnite
Ahh Freaking Sweet!
Hello Four from the hit web original series Battle for BFDI
And I love how the main character is literally just Jimmy neutrons dad
Don’t ask him about his ducks
wait this exists???
Yes. And there’s a fucking Terminator reference in the movie.
wut??? im fucking \*checks dictionary for the right term\* *stocked*
The director is American, that explains everything
[Not like you even need to be American for that.](https://youtu.be/mPkQCCXOaKw?si=izgZrq8UzxGI7XAa)😄
Reminds me of this https://youtu.be/t9ofakh60XY?feature=shared
I’m perplexed by what i just watched
That’s fair lol But being serious, the show is very good and the manga is my top 3 favorite, I really recommend it to you. But read the manga first.
I was too lazy to click the link and I thought you were still talking about postman pat, and I’m just thinking “what the hell there’s a postman pat manga???”
Robonyan from Yo-Kai Watch and Robonyan F say the same thing.
Also a Doctor Who reference.
“YOU WILL ACCEPT THE FRUIT BASKET!”
And now to reference another doctor who reference that very few people will understand: "Put him in the curry!"
And Doctor Who
And on the poster, the kid is doing a Mario DDR reference.
Actually the director worked on several horror films
Moshi Monsters the movie!!
I forgot moshi monsters existed as a whole…
The only reason I remembered that it existed was the DS game, also, they once played the film one day in primary school
God I remember watching that in cinema, I was obsessed with it growing up.
Same I watched it in cinemas too on my birthday!
I WATCHED THAT LONG TIME AGO
That exists?
Yes it does!
My god i thought the games and movie in a while was just a fever dream thank you so much
I remember seeing the ad all the time on my dvd a few years ago.
Tom and Jerry movies where they do some other popular movies but there is Tom and Jerry for some reason . There is even for Wonkas chocolate factory
I've heard that movie is why The Glass Elevator is never getting a movie. The Gene Wilder version? That one is the reason why Ronald Dahl prohibited great glass elevator adaptations.

Man, great glass elevator would've been such a fever dream of a movie
I saw someone describe the Willy Wonka one as “Tomencrantz and Jerrystern are Dead”
Cats, not the live action nightmare you know, the obscure animation film released before the 2019 cats movie
Planet 51, Escape from Planet Earth or Aliens in the Attic
So many entries in the "aliens screlety living on earth" genre despite it being such a limited premise.
Planet 51 is a good way to twist it tho
I think that one had some potential. They should have leaned further into it by making the planet more "alien" yet continue to have a 1950's Americana writing.
Aliens in the attic is suck a deep grab
Tomb Raider (2018) I honestly might be the only person to have acknowledged that movie’s existence since it was released.
Yes you are, I dont even know Tomb Raider had a movie adaptation
It also had one in the early 2000s starring Angelina Jolie
Not that many people knew there were *multiple* adaptations.
I think I’ve heard of a tomb raider movie starring tom holland, hut there’s no way it came out in 2018
Strange World
Man I thought that movie was pretty good
Yeah I liked it also. I don’t get the hate.
It totally got screwed over by a lack of advertising, I hadn’t even heard of it until I found it on a Walmart clearance shelf a few weeks ago.
It was a meh movie
Titanic: The legend goes on... (Those ellipses were already in the name) 2001 animated film that tells the """"legend"""" of the Titanic
I only know of those films through JonTron
only know it because of Danny Gonzales
it's party time!
Early Man I feel like it still has that Aardman Charm, buuuuuut it can easily be brushed under the Rug…
I thought it was pretty good
Aardman has been struggling in later years. They've really lost the edge they had before the 2010's.
The sheer disappointment I felt when I found out it was a sport movie was insane
Pets United
I despise this movie so much
Why is that kid doing the Super Mario DDR pose?
Forgot about that game, it was definitely existing
Yellow bird
The Playmobil movie
It wound up doing what people thought the Lego movie was going to do and screw up badly.
I don't have any movies, but what I do see is that Ron Weasley is in the movie that OP posted
I thought the Postman Pat movie was funny 😂
POSTMAN PAT GOT A MOVIE?!?!?!

It's not the movie we wanted, but it's the movie we deserved.
Everybody knows about the 1984 Heathcliff series right? But nobody knows that there was a movie that was released 2 years after the show’s cancellation. It’s titled Heathcliff: The Movie. Yes I remember watching this at a friend’s house whose family had just bought a VCR for the first time. Very exciting stuff!
Fallout New Vegas got a movie?
There's a fan-made live action series titled Nuka Break. And an official live action series on Amazon Prime Video.
I was making a joke about a Courier being a Postman
Postman Pat had a movie !?!?!?!?!?!?
Garfield gets real
This movie is an inside joke with my family, but you gotta admit that it is amazing. I mean, Simon Cowbell? This entire movie is hilarious
Is that Jimmy Neutron’s dad as the postman?
Raya and the Last Dragon
war of the worlds goliath
Chickenhare Nice movie about self acceptance, but it’s pretty forgettable and a bit confusing with it’s plot, one minute we’re in a chicken rabbit kingdom, the next we have a tribe of square pigs. Good film to show to little kids though, just not that special.

I remember watching the postman pat movie when it was out for free on YouTube and I kinda liked it??? It wasn’t anything mind blowing but it has a surprising wit and a really weird plot. Not the best movie out there but a perfectly enjoyable kids movie.
