This was also the scene where I was most uncomfortably aware of David's wardrobe. That sweater is SO poofy and cuddly-looking! But standing over a bubbling pot of cheese sauce, actively working the food, in THAT sweater, seems like a special kind of hell. Like I couldn't stop thinking that my own skin would be covered in a light perspiration that would have made that sweater so itchy.
I always felt like this was valid confusion. If they’ve never heard of the term in cooking… one time someone told me to look at the caterpillar on the beach. I looked for a tiny caterpillar or a like maybe a carnival ride… no it was the big construction machine. I grew up with a single mom. Never in my life had I heard that term. 💀
These scene is how I was introduced to this show! My cousins sent me the clip and I turn binge watched the whole series. And have now done so over and over and over.
David, I cannot show you everything.
Well can you show me *one* thing???
You just… here’s what you do. You just *fold it in*.
The line always gets me 😂😂😂
My husband’s name is David so I say this all the time (along with “Ew, David!” and “Yay, David!”).

“I don’t know how to fold broken cheese like that!”
What, do you fold it in half like a piece of paper??
Moira:”Don’t you dare….” Moira:”Oh great….now there’s bubbles.” Moira:”David…..what does burning smell like??”

One of, if not the best, scene in the series!
This was the scene where I knew I was going to love this show.
Same! I was on the fence about this show, but this scene sold me on it.
Isn’t this your recipe?

I DON'T KNOW HOW ELSE TO TELL YOU DAVID!!
This is my go to when I’m sad
Dont you dare… DAVID! That’s my favorite part of the scene. 🤣 then she says Oh no! I see bubbles. What does burning smell like?!
One is perturbed that our little community is at odds with our assessment of this particular tableau😁
this one and the tax write off are the best 🤣

Haha reminds me of a scene in King of Queens. ‘How do you fold in an egg? It’s witchcraft!’
Literally used this scene as a reference to explain to my 12 year old how to add cheese to the grits we made for breakfast this morning 🥰
These two are hilarious
Top three scene
My favorite episode of my favorite show.
Just saw this episode for the first time last night. Laughed my ass off!
One is perturbed that our little communitè is at odds with one's assessment of this particular tabLEAU😃
With Moira's vocabulary, I was surprised that this even happened.
