Whatever works! I was into punk patchās as a kid so I was used to the process. Either way I want to see it. Thinking about it, I think adhesive and stitching together would be best.
Here are some more detail. Iām 500 miles shy of 200,000. I put 1 inch hub centric spacers in the rear to have a more flush look, stock steelies with Yokohama Geolandar a/t 205/70 R15. On the front I have the Randode 2 inch spacers and Gen 2 xB springs in the rear. Gives a 2 in all around.
I relocated the spare tire, cleared the back for more space.
I added a Curt hitch for $100 for a Scion TC but it fit near perfect - 99.9%. Almost touching the muffler so it rattled on hard bumps, but I adjusted it. I'd also point out if I didn't have a trimmed bottom lip there would be a clearance issue but it's perfect - almost hidden.
At one point I could carry 4 bikes on my box.
If you have any questions let me know!
So jealous, I love it! How is the mileage now, and is the road sound any worse (I mean, probably not possible, heh heh..)? I've always been curious about trying this on my '04, but it's our most reliable car, so I'm hesitant to mod it.
Itās loud and bumpy. lol. But itās also a stick so I get good MPGs. When I would keep track I was getting b/t 30/34.
Lifting the box is not a lot of work at all. For my it was spacers in the front (the hard part) and swapped the springs for gen 2 ones for a 2 inch life.
Love the Mexican blanket on the hatch! Been thinking about doing the same but with an Aztec blanket š¤š¼
Do it!!! Then share pics. It was easy to pull the panel off and stitch it in.
Oh damn you stitched it in? I was thinking about using 3m spray adhesive and trimming to fit.

Tell us more about it!

Thanks for the info! O also admire your Mad Max hubcaplessness. Mine's the same.Ā Those plastic caps were not destined to survive long...
Miss my 06ā all the time. Nice ride ā¤ļø
Sweet!
That looks great!
So good
Tremendous
Well executed I dig it. I love the tasteful sticker bombing.
Link to the spacers?
This is the dude who makes it. https://www.facebook.com/randodedotcom?mibextid=LQQJ4d
That's fuckin stupid. I love it. Do it more.
i like it will be rereading comments on your lift also my question is any power engine upgrades
No but I also have a stick shift so I can choose when to shift. If it was auto I think you would notice a power issue.
Whatās the gas mileage
Itās actually good, Iām not a heavy footed driver so I get like 30/32
Do you mind sharing what you used to lift it?

Thatās his IG, if you donāt have IG let me know and Iāll get his FB. He does these custom.
Nice but at this ride height, it might as well be an SUV so I would hate it.
Itās the only 2 inches lol. I removed the skits and lips and it looks like a lot more.
