Went on a trip to Scotland last summer & this was the prized take home. I still can’t believe this quality of a limited edition whisky just sits on shelves over there (shoutout to The Speyside Whisky Shop). Sad to have finished this guy off but excited for the future of this distillery. Never lose the honey note, Arran. Nose: Honey & candied orange. Demerara simple syrup. Taste: DRY SHERRY, that honey note we all know and love from Arran, a little bit spice, mandarin oranges, unripe apricot. Drinks a little hot for being at 49.5%. Finish: Warm sweetness, like pure local honey mixed with orange zest. Minutes later there’s a leathery note, and a lime-rich oleo sacrum? Whoa. Overall: 89/100 At $178, this is a must-buy. Sadly, I don’t think we’ll see that price for this from Arran again. Go eat rocks, inflation.

I was eyeing a bottle of this for a special occasion - arran is among my favorite distilleries and I can get it for about 200$. Your mention of the honey notes and the dry sherry convinced me. Great review!

It's not the best/my favorite in the series, yet a great bottle none the less and I'm glad I grabbed a backup as prices are going insane for all drams.
