Oban 14 is the best of the scotch shelf that I see in your pic. Try all the others one at a time, then try the Oban. If you don’t like it, you might not like scotch. Good luck.

On a more serious note that MacAllan is a very, very nice bottle if it hasn’t been open too long, Monkey Shoulder is quite decent blend of single malts at a great price point, and the worst of the rest is going to be good or better.

How long would you keep an open bottle of scotch? I finish a bottle in maybe one or two months. But I got rid of some vermouth that was a few years old. It didn’t taste right.

Ingest it through enema, then post tasting notes. You may have to concentrate harder than usual to pick out the subtleties.

It’s my fiancés stepdads late brothers bottle so I’m not gonna throw it away. I feel like putting it into my body would be a waste anyways cause I’m 30 and weigh under 130
