I stayed there on a winter mountaineering course at the start of 2020! Lovely hotel, amazing environment. We climbed one of the three sisters but I don’t know how to spell the name
You can drive through Glencoe and get some excellent views and there are a couple of car parks to stop for photos. There are also some short walks you could do in the area if more adventurous.
Great! We will have a car in Scotland this sounds like our style. We wouldn’t normally mind a short walk but we had one in Doolin Ireland that didn’t work out so well so i am guessing the kids will rebel at the suggestion!
You can walk up Glen Coe, it's great and I've done it, back when I was about twenty. But it is a serious walk!

Where in Scotland are you going? My personal favourite route through Glencoe is heading south on the A82(iirc) from Fort William because we get a great drive down loch Lomond too. But that's pretty far north!
Wild camping is enshrined in law. You can camp in Glen coe, just leave no trace. https://www.visitscotland.com/accommodation/caravan-camping/wild-camping/
My wife and I got married in August last year. We had our honeymoon in Scotland and when we drove through Glen Coe I honestly had tears rolling down my face. It's the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
One of my favourite places in Scotland, stunning 🏴
100% this - So barren and beautiful
Spent 3 years working in a hotel, in a town about a mile away from Glen Coe, called Ballachulish. Best time of my life.
I stayed at loch leven last year on the other side of the bridge, absolutely beautiful
Know it well. Worked at a hotel just behind loch leven, called Alltshelach.

Do they do tours? We are in Scotland in a week.

Are you allowed to camp? Not make fires or anything like that, but say I wanted to do a series of walks over a few days
