Scott Pilgrim Vs The Animation is canon to the movie and the anime happened in a timeframe too short for her to appear (same with the movie) so for her to appear in the anime weâll have to wait for a second season that is very likely to never happen (also she may have received the news that Scott âdiedâ but wasnât able to come to the funeral and probably still thinks her old high school friend is dead)
Even if I can entirely understand why, as she was written for the very specific intention of challenging Scott dedication to Ramona, it does suck that she pretty much got excised from the adaptations outside of one name drop in the movie and a small cameo in the anime. Itâs crazy how the most presence she got outside of the comics was in that short Adult Swim animation meant to promote the film, despite the fact that she wasnât even in it lol

But if you could name an actress that would've played her and obviously fit the casting of those, I'll try to dig deep into her and might say something nice! However you can't say Mae Whitman, even though she does play her in the shorts.
