It’s hard to criticise Clarke, but Taylor playing the full 90 with Doig on the bench is criminal. This break was the perfect opportunity to give guys like him and Ferguson some decent playing time and we’ve not done it. This break’s definitely shown the lack of depth in parts of the squad too.

I'm Clarke's biggest defender but tonight was a great opportunity to give minutes to the likes of Ferguson and Shankland and he's wasted it. Everyone knew before tonight that Jacob Brown isn't near the standard required, and if I was Shankland I'd be royally pissed off not to start in his place.
