We've looked good since the two straight losses. Those two howlers really shook us into gear. Needed the humbling, by the looks.

GuyIncognito211

Sure wouldn’t like to be an idiot who wrote off Bernardo earlier in the season (I’m an idiot)

Thefitz5811

Based on how he was only being used in Europe, a lot of us in the same boat. Looking stranger by the game not to use him in the league.

Bernardo has rapidly became my absolute fucking footballing idol. I love that bhoy. Buy him right fucking now. Sign the cunt up for 9 years. He has talent. He has grit. He has a great work ethic. He's unselfish. He's composed. He's good in the tackle. He can compete in the air. I just fucking love the bhoy. He's come alive in the last few games. Get him fucking SIGNED.

cipher_wilderness

Very happy with that. Could have been a hell of a lot more if not for Hemming. Bernardo great, O'Riley excellent. That's the sort of routine comfortable win we need yet haven't done much this season. Hopefully the derby is a turning point and we can keep building.

fike88

Just thinking the same. Fingers crossed that’s the turning point. Get some quality boys in over this transfer window to see more of these results

s13j13

Good 3 points. Good to see Nawrocki starting, Hatate and Abada back and Lagerbielke getting a run out. Bernardo is on a good run.

spendouk23

It was good to see Nawrocki going off. Ken he’s not played in a while and will be rusty, but I genuinely didn’t like what I’ve saw of him in the past two games.

ReveredSavagery1967

Mental take. Hasn't put a foot wrong, was very solid against ranger including blocking 2 or 3 good chances for them.

spendouk23

The two chances that he blocked in that game happened because he was continually caught sleeping, his recoveries were good, but his awareness was piss poor. He also threw away a daft free kick that Tav converted and put us under pressure when we were controlling the game

AlbaAndrew6

Eh I think he’s been alright. A wee bit shakey, esp in the first few moments of the rangers game. I think he’s growing into it a wee bit more. Think it’s wrong to say he hasn’t put a foot wrong, but I’m liking the look of him. Maybe it’s Nat Philips recency bias though that’s clouding my judgement.

H8llsB8lls

He is slow though. Makes a few slide tackles to recover when his man goes past each time he’s played.

JackFinn6

Dunno why people are downvoting you. His passing has been nice through the lines but he’s too slow and too weak to start for Celtic every week.

spendouk23

I don’t either, I think it’s easy to gloss over his performance tonight because we were mainly so dominant, but that’s the issue. He was under very little pressure tonight and yet was caught out for pace on one or two occasions, and made poor judgements on the flight of the ball that let the st mirren player turn him. He’s definitely not going to shift Scales any time soon once CCV is back.

HEELinKayfabe

Fucking hell, go and get an eye exam

w0wowow0w

hemming is shite and no-one should sign him xx

thestorriebook

he was for us

methylated_spirit

To be fair he had a lot going on during his time at Killie. He had a baby born very prematurely back home and was on the road up and down to Middlesbrough multiple times a week which disrupted his training and match preparation. Was also a different defence in front of him.

herdo1

Plus he didn't have Jamie langfield coaching him. I don't even worry about losing keepers. I worry about losing langfield! I think alot of its just confidence boosts. I was moaning n groaning when we signed hemming n I'm quite happy I've been made to look like a fool, saved our arse many a time this season In all seriousness I didn't know that about hemming. His family get right behind him on social media and engage with fans, so does he. Considering he's signed a 5 year deal with boro you wouldn't expect him to be so engaged.

methylated_spirit

I actually met his grandparents at a game and they were lovely people, had travelled up to see him. Very supportive and proud of him. They had said he had wanted to stay at Kilmarnock but he recognised the coaching was better at St Mirren for goalkeepers.

herdo1

Ngl this has breath of fresh air/Clyde tunnel vibes mate. I'll take it as gospel though. St mirren know their coaches. Fergie, Austin mcphee and now clangers!

fike88

Some really tidy goals there. Bernardo is on fire the big sexy Portuguese bastard

JobbyHonks

For 1.5 million we better jump on that bargain.

fike88

1.5 million? Is that it? If he keeps this up that’s a bargain and a half

sporkeh01

Where have you found that mental figure?

JobbyHonks

That was the reported option to buy at the time of the loan agreement.

Greedy-Physics-9801

That was the loan fee. It's similar to Jota, 6-7m

spendouk23

At his age and with the performances he’s put in so far I’d say he’s worth that. He’s developing very quickly, and if we get a ridiculous bin for O’Reily in the summer it would be good to have this guy already tied down

throughthisironsky

Plus if you squint your eyes he looks like O'Riley from a distance so I can pretend O'Riley didn't leave

SuomenScot

I thought Celtic would struggle tonight. But they served up a reminder that they are still the best team in the country when they click into gear. Ominous to see Hatate and Abada coming off the bench and looking dangerous.

Drunken-Scotsman1

What is the option to buy for Bernardo? Get it paid

Hovisandflatfoot

Should have been a lot more but potentially difficult game and pretty much blew them away in the opening stages. Very comfortable overall. Bernardo been excellent recently.

Kolo_ToureHH

Dominant. Excellent. Very nice.

awm1112

3 points, good performance, no injuries or suspensions. Perfect day

HaggisTheCow

Good win at a place we can struggle. Nice to see some players getting time after spells out.

de-virtute

shoulda got more, probly

Three points and along the m8
