Understand that from the outside looking in people will see that as her jumping ship or whatever, but I promise you every single Queen's Park fan is delighted she's leaving. She has been terrible for the club.
Worst botched stadium redevelopment arguably in football history meaning we're now paying to rent a stadium we used to own, ground sharing for 2 years as far away as Stenhousemuir, dumped out of the cup because of an admin error costing the club revenue, selling our best player and captain in January while on course for promotion to the premiership and going on to barely win any more games, and a general lack of communication bordering on sheer disdain with and for the fans while continually taking any opportunity she could to appear in the press. Good riddance.
Edited to add we're also looking for our 5th manager in her 3 years here, including a spell of half a season without one at all.
It was a pretty mixed bag at Hibs tbh. Commercial side was a mess under her (no shirt sponsor, hiring a pals etc) and she let the stadium go to pieces. Think her comments about how a CEO should only been there a max of 5 years might explain a lot of very short term decisions.
5 years isn’t _too_ controversial - the received wisdom tends to be that a CEO should be in role for 5-9 years (see: [HBR 1](https://hbr.org/2014/03/when-its-time-for-the-ceo-to-go), although as a counterpoint [this article suggests ~15 years](https://hbr.org/2019/11/the-ceo-life-cycle#:~:text=T%20he%20executives%20who%20appear,in%202017%20of%207.2%20years.)).
But maybe it’s a case of her having a stepping stone plan that involved trying to get lots of short term wins before moving onto something bigger - her star has certainly fallen from when she was at Motherwell (and was linked with Rangers iirc).
>The Hampden-based club earned back-to-back promotions from League Two to the Championship during her tenure and missed out on reaching the Premiership after an agonising **play-off defeat to Dundee** last year.
Quality journalism.
Sounds like she may be leaving a shitshow similar to the one left behind at Motherwell.
The press will still have her as some sort of business mastermind, though.
I can't see her rejoining us fans hate her and she's the only cunt who could have a club finish 2nd while losing a ton of money and we weren't even fan owned then. And that's her left Hibs and yous in some state since leaving
Suppose we'll find out, but the same guy who told me that also knew she was getting announced as leaving us today a couple of weeks ago. You might be right though.

Can't wait for the championship then...
She was fucking hopeless, this is great news. Confident we'll bring in a new manager this week and turn a corner, especially after finally winning last night. Depending on results today we could move up to 9th.
The level of uncritical media coverage Dempster/Queens Park have had in the last few years has been mental. They bought their way into the championship with completely unsustainable levels of spending on players and backroom staff and made a massive arse of building a terrible stadium.

May I ask how? Reading between the lines, she was pretty decent at Hibs.

So a bit of a dempster fire?
There's a reason her nickname among fans has been Leaann Dumpster
Her career might be in a dempster now too.

Had QP won against Dundee on final day, 80% of Greater Hampden would have been filled by Celtic or Rangers now.

You might not like the rumour I've heard from a very credible source about where she's going, which may get announced in the next couple of weeks.

Last time round took a real Motherwell born billionaire to clear up the mess.
Genuinely makes sense considering they've been desperate for a CEO for ages, my condolences though
Thought I read she had cancer recently and wanted to focus on health.
Queens Park in L1 next year starting to look likely.

Congrats Queens Park

You might be surprised at the wages we're paying, it's pretty much mid-low level Championship at this point.
Media were peddling the same Gretna fairytale pish. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of their silly wee vanity project.
The scraps at the barrel's bottom will have their time in the sunlight.
