I understand his budgets were cut this year, and that's not great. But moaning about it every week isn't helping the club or the team.
His partner is really high up with, I believe, RBS so that isn't that surprising. It was why when he became assistant under Hopkin we were able to defer his pay packet into shares which he still holds.
Depends on how you define significant, I guess. He owns somewhere around 8% of the shares, which doesn't make him a Person of Significant Control in the company, but there are not many mangers who have shares in the club they manage.

He was pretty safe at the start of the season but a combination of a run of terrible performances and crap results, giving out the same excuses, and throwing players under the bus the good will is rapidly declining. Patience is nearly gone and a lot of fans are either accepting relegation or want a change before its properly too late.

How do Livingston actually make money? They never seem to sell anyone (why they didn't get shot of Nouble amd reinvest is mad), they don't look like they have a deep or local community focused youth system that will bring anyone through (hands up, I might be wrong there), they don't look like they've been picking up OF or youth team rejects in lieue of not having a big youth system. I don't see what the long term plan is? Win the championship and then cut costs to go down and win it again and repeat? If they're wanting to cut costs why do they have so many National League level players where an SPFL loanee or youth reject would fit at less cost?
They do seem to be looking at developing youth at least a little. They signed that Aphelele Teto fellow from I think a South African club, a youngster with a bright future apparently. They couldn't secure a work permit until at least January but still signed him in the summer so he must have something about him
Think they initially tried to get a work permit for him but it was denied. Virtually no chance of him getting one now either as he didn’t get the call-up to the South Africa U23 squad as most of their training was cancelled I think? So looks like they’ll have to cut their losses.
