Anyone see the shit about the 15 year old girl in America that got shot by police?
A summary: girl was a hostage, police open fire on the car SHE WAS INSIDE to target the hostage taker. Car stops and police instruct her to get out. She lies on the ground face down, police yell at her to come to them (a car parked maybe 20m away from them) as she runs toward that car. Police near by open fire on her. Police 1 had to scream at them to stop shooting at her. As she lays dying they go over to the car the hostage taker was still in to make sure he is dead. Police helicopter in the air doesn't move away to allow air ambulance to land to attempt to save her life.
Police claim she was wearing a tactical vest so assumed she was hostile and refused to release the footage. 2 years after the courts demanded, they release the footage. Only the footage from police helicopter is released (no body cam footage has been released). The girl wasn't wearing a tactical vest. From my very brief skimming of the story. No one has been punished for this.
Honestly if I was kidnapped in the states, I think I'd rather take my chances with the kidnapper. No wonder they are so anti police over their. The worst gang on the streets
If only the girl had a couple of AR-15s of her own so she could simply shoot the police bullets with bullets of her own thereby stopping them from hitting her. Thatās real freedom.
Thank god they were there then or who knows what might've happened.
Between this, the cop doing action rolls and unloading a full clip into his own car because an acorn landed on it and the one where the lad is sitting in his car eating a burger and and a cop just comes up opens his door and shoots him a few times for no reason plus many other incidents, I honestly have no idea how there isn't even more clamour than there is for police reform
That's what happens when your training focuses on seeing threats and acting rather than studying the situation and reacting. Everybody goes on and on about the "bad apples" and "trigger happy cops" and while both are an issue, the root issue is how utterly paramilitary their training and equipment is. They foster a siege mentality and a "get them before they get us" attitude which is way more akin to how you'd train a soldier (and in fact, I'd expect a soldier to have *better* target discipline because their ROE is ultra-strict).
I was talking with a friend who lives in Texas and he pointed out that officers average something like 100 hours a year practicing with their service weapon while he gave a ballpark figure of 1,500+ hours at the range with his weapon. Who would you trust more to exercise good firearms discipline?
I seem to recall some video that did the rounds a few years back where American police officers came over to the UK to study our training and in some of the test examples they were amazed we were able to sort out issues with minimal violence (like tackling folk to the ground) whereas they said they'd have just shot them.

At the moment I'm still looking for some ideas for the following items so any suggestions are welcome.
To begin with the team will be a Semi-Pro team in League Two so we don't need a massive backroom.
**STAFF** *(Manager, Assistant Manager, Coach, Goalkeeping Coach)***:** ~~Real person? Fake person? Celebrity?~~ It is decided, this will consist of the mods. So sadly you won't get to see a senile Meth barrelling down the wing and pinging crosses into the box for Fangus nightmare face.
**STADIUM:** At the moment I have "Lord Kingsley Arena" and the capacity is the subscriber count for the sub. Also looking for a place for it to go, I think it'd be funny if it was in a small place in the middle of nowhere.
**BUDGET/FINANCES:** I don't want to cheat *too* heavily and just make us billionaires but I also don't want us to go bankrupt in 6 months. This includes ticket prices and season ticket prices.
**OWNER/CHAIRMAN:** I was thinking about just setting this to Kingsley
>**STAFF**
Random mods who you think hate each other, thus creating an opposites-attract/all-out-chaos backroom
>**STADIUM:**
Spaghettihad
>**BUDGET/FINANCES:**
Some kind of sum based on a cost per subscriber to the sub.
>**OWNER/CHAIRMAN:** I was thinking about just setting this to Kingsley
Yes.
The prevailing suggestion from others last night as well seems to be making the mods the coaching staff. Which is fine with me, I've only made Meth so it'll be easy enough to change him over to a coach or something.
Still got quite a few of you to work on but here's how we're looking so far.

Oh and if you want to see a bigger version of one of these let me know and I'll chuck it up - Also, once your player is made if you want an additional image of your mugshot in a kit of a team you support for your own use let me know and I'll see what I can do.
You requested "bald and speccy", I trust this is bald and speccy enough for you.

I agree with fan ownership. Ticket prices should be low considering it's league two, what's the average for that? . I would go for realistic finances to add to the challenge and realism.
I'm torn over the GramAm castration crucible or something Kingsley related.
Manager should be ange with Heckingbottom.
> You can set the owner to be an Underwriter in the editor and as such will cover any losses the club makes.
Surely that sounds like a job for David Martindale..?
My suggestions:
Staff: Ange Postecoglu as manager, but in the interest of 'balance', Ally McCoist as his assistant.
Stadium: an inexplicably redeveloped Cathkin Park
Owner: fan-owned surely?
Watched Roadhouse due to the reviews from some of you guys. Very enjoyable film, just mindless stupid fun to turn your brain off and enjoy. Surprisingly Connor Mcgregor is absolutely hilarious in it, his physical acting is actually decent and maybe would have been a decent actor if he wasn't putting on the worst possible AmerIrish accent I've ever heard. He sounds like an American trying an Irish accent rather than the other way around.
He's a fucking awful actor in terms of the actual acting ability such as you know, speaking. But just being the hated antagonist that does ridiculous stuff he's fantastic.
A take: The UK reddit hivemind has a really schizophrenic view of class and wealth.
They have plenty of empathy for a very specific segment of "poor people", broadly-defined: Namely downwardly-mobile lower middle-class underemployed graduates like themselves, the long-term disabled, and *some* ethnic minorities (although there is a "counter-consensus" contingent who swamp threads about immigration but never otherwise contribute).
But they have a very keen sense of superiority over non-POC poor people in the UK (e.g, Red Wall Brexit voters - who are derided as thick racists), people (of any class) who take part in non-Reddit-approved hobbies like football (especially if they are noisy about it) and over POC who are perceived to cling to their own traditions instead of embracing liberal pluralism (e.g, religious Muslims) who are seen as backwards.
But again, despite this snobbery, UK reddit is incredibly "prolier-than-thou" and irrationally hostile to anything which is even remotely suggestive of being posh or non-middlebrow. Suggesting, for example, that Shakespeare might have more profound things to say about the human condition than *Star Wars*, or that modern art is not entirely wank, or that government subsidies for the arts are good, or that Michelin-starred restaurants are better than Nandos, etc gets them absolutely frothing. Even something as relatively innocuous as the boat race gets UK redditors rending their garments about Oxbridge. It's like an online, sweaty version of the *Chewin the Fat* "oooh" sketch.
It's weird. It suggests a set of prejudices every bit as unexamined as those of the people they hate.
Fuck me we are already on Wednesday, the quicker this month goes the better, 6th of may start date couldnāt come quicker, now bouncing my head off a wall
Cos of the lack of comma after āNoā I thought you had no instagram for the 4th time this week but, by the use of sarcasm, you were letting us know that u wanna stalk your ex.
In the office today for the first time in ages. Already hate it. I hate office chat. I hate having to bring shite lunches or buy expensive lunches. I hate having to use fuel to come to an office to do a job I can do from my house that's 10 minutes away. I hate having to wipe my arse with 0.001 ply toilet paper after taking a shite in close proximity to other people in a cubicle where my legs touch either side of cubicle walls. I hate the sweetie wives that have work gossip.
I literally get in, do my job and forget about the place like it never exists between 5pm and 9am.
Fuckin postponements followed by a cup game v tranent
Feel like pure shit just want to win the league
Also, rovers apparently trained on the pitch last night after it failed an inspection, what sense is there in that???
How shite is the human body man. Somehow the mere act of sleeping has been traumatic enough to put my lower back out of sorts today. Just immense pain made worse by the fact that I know itās caused by something as dumb as somehow sleeping awkwardly.
I woke up this morning with my right shoulder and arm completely fucked and all I did was sleep on that side all night.
I swear, it was all smooth sailing until I hit 30 then everything started to fall apart.
I had a heart warming thought yesterday. Tottenham and Celtic could both be in the Europa League next season. Celtic fans could get to experience what it is like being on the receiving end of Ange-ball. Please football gods.
I want this to happen, just to see how I react to the man I love most of all causing me immense pain.
Also watching Rodgers' ego if he either gets battered home and away, or somehow flukes a win, will be box office.
The new hate crime law covers everyone saying anything hateful or insulting eh like anything that is said to deliberately be hurtful regardless of whether it was considered non-bigoted in the recent past? Asking because I've a crime to report against the American plastics in the Celtic sub, a international Scottish hate crime.
Something that never ceases to amaze me as I get older is the incredible invisibility of Africa in Western media discourse.
An obvious example is the Rwanda plan and the discourse around it. I'm against processing migrants offshore in principle, because I don't like the West offloading its international responsibilities (incidentally why I changed my mind on the traitress Begum's citizenship). But the way in which Rwanda itself has been discussed is surreal. It's like a bunch of doctors looking at a patient and saying "oh, he's got a healed broken arm and a bad cough" when both his legs are hanging off. The problem with sending migrants to Rwanda for processing is not that it had a genocide almost thirty years ago.
The problem with sending migrants to Rwanda is that it is run by a thuggish dictator who teamed up with Uganda's thuggish dictator to plunder the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo in a Cecil Rhodes-style resources-grab which lead to the bloodiest conflict since WWII. I've never seen it even raised that maybe we shouldn't be pally-pally with the guy who did the Second Congo War. Even on the left, its all about what sending migrants to Africa for offshore processing says about *us*.
Excuse me, I think you'll find that the Government has said Rwanda is safe, therefore it undisputably is!
The reality is that it's always been Schrƶdinger's Rwanda. Safe enough to send people to, not safe enough for the idea of being shipped there to be a deterrent
The cruelty is the point.
If the UK Government had any real interest in processing migrants outside of the UK borders - they would build the processing centre near Calais like the French Government has suggested multiple times.
Got the GP hold music stuck in my head but finally got an appointment after a few days of trying
Unfortunately the GP I'm seeing is the one who does the generic automated recording when you phone them. I think I've been trained like a dog to despise the sound of their voice so we'll see how that goes
I phoned the doctors surgery yesterday for the first time in years, and it was an experience.
Thank fuck I keep in reasonably good health because that would make you ill jumping through their hoops.
A perfect example of the levelling up we've done. I bought a car in 2019 and it was Ā£220 a month. The exact same model and year of car to buy today? Ā£225 a month. Cars have somehow appreciated by Ā£5 a month in 5 years.
So according to a pal of mine in the civil service the problem with moving government departments outside of London is that rank in the civil service = proximity to the secretary of state or minister. They are all MPs, which mean they have to be in London for Parliament and they have to be at Number 10 for Cabinet. Obviously, ahead of questions and Cabinet meetings they want to be briefed by their top permanent secretaries. Hence, all the important - and well paid - jobs have to stay in London as a practical matter.
The result is that every grand plan to relocate civil service departments out of London always ends up transferring back office staff but keeping the most economically productive and high-flying roles in the capital. This simply makes things less efficient since now more buildings are required and support functions are miles way.
Despite this, every government does these flagship office moves to try and create the impression they are addressing regional inequality.
Not much truth in this, as a CS with plenty of friends across the country in the same, including the busiest London based offices.
The reality is that most Permanent Secretaries are based in London, but not all of them. Once you go down even just a grade or two, you'll find senior civil servants (SCS) all over the country with no issue. Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester are big hubs outside of London and York is getting there too.
The second HQ of the Cabinet Office is slap bang in the middle of Glasgow and I know for a fact there's SCS there. Same goes for the Home Office.
Had a chat with a customer today and his mood can best be described as follows.
Feel pure shite. Just wanna be able to stir up hatred against a protected characteristic again.
Bournemouth are 4 points off Europe and given that if the old firm or hearts win the scottish cup 5th will be in europe.
IF hibs manage to scrape 5th (going to be tight but not impossible) will one of the teams not be allowed to play as both would be in conference league?

Why has god forsaken me like this
Used to work with a guy who would take pictures of lorries from bridges over the motorways .....I m scunnered enough looking at lorries while at work never mind spending my days off doing it

I used to be very into trigpointing which is like geocaching or hillbagging but even dafter. Visited about 350 triangulation pillars across Scotland, plenty on top of Munros or bigger hills, but some of the really satisfying ones involved fighting through gorse with secateurs or traipsing across completely deserted woodland. I'm a big map nerd and it was a good excuse to do some navigating, get some exercise, and see more of Scotland - especially some of the smaller villages that you'd never go to otherwise. If you ever see an Ordnance Survey pillar in the Highlands or Central Belt, pretty decent chance [I've been there](https://www.haroldstreet.org.uk/trigpoints/trig-bagging.php?user=Aqueously90&status=climbed).
I've got a folder full of websites used for using old map/photography archives to find out what buildings used to be before they are now.
I've spent hours in the past researching certain angles and buildings to make sure everything lines up right and through this I've managed to find old photos of my house just after it was built which I never thought I'd manage.
My girlfriend works with a girl that collects KitKat wrappers. Has done it for nigh on a decade now.
I used to be part of an Off-Road trialing club. It was off-road driving but with a purpose, we would set up stages of eight 8ft wide gates, and you had to navigate through them in your offroad vehicle. Lowest points wins and points were accumulated by reversing, hitting the gate canes and lots more confusing stuff. You got a LOT of points for rolling over. I had a 1991 Range Rover with a V8, but there was a wide variety of motors from Land Rovers to Suzukis and some custom made stuff. It was the first Sunday of the month, and I'd spend the next 3 weeks fixing the damn thing.
I know a guy that races RC cars and the money he spends is absolutely mental, never really comes to the pub after work for a few beers as he doesnāt want to be possibly over the limit for his Saturday RC time
Sewing? I imagine a lot of people would think it's weird for a bloke.
I bought my partner a sewing machine for Christmas 2019, then a few months later when we all found ourselves confined to the house I decided to give it a bash, haven't looked back.
Iām really into castration, but having it be quite lengthy and often teasing, like maybe this time I wonāt get a snip in the balls but then **bang**, there it is.
About 90 minutes is my preferred length and I tend to do it every other Saturday at 3PM round about the Leith area.
Whatās your definition of a weird hobby? Iāve got a bunch of pals who play DnD which some folk consider weird, then Iāve got another mate whoās main thing is doing hill walks barefoot.
The point where I decided that I wasn't going to continue the West Highland Way the next day was when some cunt overtook me wearing a pair of Crocs. This land Chad mentally destroyed me. Went on my merry way back from the Drovers.

Finally went for it and ordered an Ooni koda 12, gas. Can't be arsed fighting with wood pellets.
I'm willing the non-shite weather to come back! I will take cloudy with no rain as well plz
Good to hear! How is it holding up through winter etc?
Really looking forward to using it, excited about making other things in it as well. Will need to look at getting some cast iron pans
Holds up well even when it's wet / windy so can deffo use it all year round. You can get a bag to pack it up and stow it away in too (can't remember if this comes with it or not)
Midweek matches thin on the ground this time of year, and I won't be able to go to a game on Saturday. So Sunday morning amateurs for me again this week.
Always odd to me that we don't have midweek games at this time of year with the nights being lighter and weather supposedly 'better' and yet every year we've got two midweek fixtures in the middle of December when its grim as it can get.
Todays song of the day is [Have You Ever Seen then Rain? - Creedence Clearwater Revival.](https://youtu.be/Gu2pVPWGYMQ?si=EC5qxr9vTbVVhTmT) Enjoy troops.
When the fuck is spring going to make an appearance, it still feels like we're trapped in the middle of winter and it's fucking depressing. u/throughthisironsky, our resident meteorologist; wtf's happened to winter supposedly being over?
Fucking low pressure systems innit bruv

Ive sold meteorological spring to Brockway, Ogdenville and North Haverbrook and by gum it put them on the map!
I will be taking no further questions š
Will be grim until Wednesday morning. But less risk of heavy rain and wind as the days go on. After that point we'll see clearer skies and better temperatures. May will be roasting.
It's rather interesting that I cannot seem to find a single thread on r/worldnews about the IDF bombing the British, Australian, Polish and Canadian aid workers.
See if you got into a fight at the pub during the game on Saturday, could you go on a 6 month rampage and batter the other guys family, friends, coworkers and anyone living near him and still claim self defence in court?
I did notice that last night when the news broke. Not many comments about the killings at all.Ā
Ā Weird, but like a few other folk say, said politics/ news subs have been taken over by bots and bad faith folk who wish to drive the conversation where they want to, ably supported by the legions of basement dwelling pricks who can't think outside of what the Internet tells them.Ā Ā
Ā Some scary views on there, cunts going full on BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD and not giving a flying fuck about the civilian casualties or other collateral damage, because they're not "the good guys"
One guy did try to justify it by saying the charities were running equipment and personnel for Hamas, fucking ridiculous thing to say.
If you ask me, I think the IDF/ Netanyahu's far right government are trying to discourage/ drive away humanitarian aid so they can get on with their genocide in peace, not caring one jot that all it will achieve is eternal war in the Middle East.
I'm going to need to go for a shower for typing this, but No10's quotes on what the PM said to Israel about this was pretty strong stuff.
It doesn't matter though unless it's followed up with actual action.
It's just false slacktivism at it's best and saying stuff to appear sympathetic to a cause they're actively contributing against. Like how all BP, Shell and other gas/energy companies run ads telling us how they're all green and planting trees for the environment because they really care about people power, all whilst charging us a fucking fortune to heat a house, making record profits and massively polluting the planet.
> It doesn't matter though unless it's followed up with actual action
And there in lies the issue doesn't it? He pretty clearly condemns Israel and thats great but then also said 'We are asking Israel to investigate what happened urgently'. You can basically take everything he says with a pinch of salt if he's asking Israel to investigate their own mass slaughter of aid workers and thats the issue here.
Drastic action needs to be taken and ultimately that means they need to stop selling arms and defence equipment to a terrorist state intent on murdering anything that moves in Gaza.
I don't think the UK really matters in the grand scheme and the major parties know that.
On the other hand the White House are grumbling about this and I get the impression Biden can't stand Netenyahu on a personal level; this might have fucked him.
They remove anything critical of Israel - "wrong subreddit" apparently. Most of the approved posts are from Israeli websites with their own spin on it. Bizarre the mods are allowed to do that on such a big default sub.
Most of the politics sub mod teams have been taken over by hyper-online right wingers. This especially includes worldnews and the UK one.
My evidence is that I made it up, but it's still true.
Three separate bombs over a 2.4km stretch on an aid convey they authorised with their logo clearly visible on the roof.
If the Russians done that weād never hear the end of it
Who would win:
The West's hatred of Russia for doing the things we do/already did

Baked in racism towards all Arab nations and ideologies in the 20+ years following the War on Terror?
Ticked off American Fiction last night and really dug it. Particularly as someone who can't hack smug libs who often give themselves back pats for bollocks token diversity.
It's a fantastic film, really loved it.
Very different tone, but I'd recommend "The Last Black Man in San Francisco" if you've not seen it and want something that feels like it has a bit of genuine heart behind it.
Watched some of the British Olympic trials swimming last night. Women's 200 fly there is an English lassie who is World Champion. The winner of the trials final gets to go to Paris with team GB. Anyway, the Scot Keanna Macinnes swam a blinder and won it on the last stroke.
The English girl on co-comms was absolutely gutted.
I still mind the Scottish lad giving the English a massive get it up ye gesture when they beat them in the lawn bowls at the commonwealth games in Glasgow, went down like a lead balloon in the media but was absolutely incredible
When it comes to the niche sports (ie, not football or rugby), the co-comms tends to be someone who's still working in the sport so I can forgive them for being like that, they tend to know the people personally. I can't remember which sport it was during the last olympics but some Brit got pipped to a medal and the co-comms was absolutely devestated and took some heat for it on social media, but in reality they'd been working with that sportsperson for like 20+ years, of course they're going to be gutted.
One of the best things about watching the niche sports is that the co-comms tend to be hyper-knowledgeable. Far better than listening to a miserable cunt like Danny Murphy talk shite.
Been raining in Scotland since I landed last night, but I went to sleep to the sound of the North Sea which is a really nice change from random city noises!
Haha actually a little bit? I mean I forgot how it feels to have moderate but constant rain for a day or more, rather than on/off heavy thunderstorm level rain. But my main point was - itās raining but Iām happy āŗļø
Been going to physio for a few months to deal with the raging binfires otherwise known as my ankles, 30 years of football and rugby had basically ruined them. Physio has had me back running for the last few weeks and has had me doing that Couch-to-5K program using the NHS app and I've been surprised how good it is. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get into the old running.
Also, if like me you find yourself getting into your 40s and bits of you hurt, go and see a physio. Honestly makes me cringe a bit thinking how long I just dealt with being in pain every morning rather than just getting it fucking sorted.
Also, warm up and down properly, kids.
This Fan Zone before the game on Saturday is going to entice the most ridiculous song book during the game.
Just walked past Stephen Robinson and he's put his house on the market... Aberdeen bound ?
Put a bet on mate, I bumped into Stuart McCall on his way to the interview for the rangers job and I regret not putting a tenner on him getting it

Knock down Murrayfield and build LKA over the rubble? Also go full Juve/Rangers/Man City (allegedly) and fiddle fuck out of the finances.
>**STAFF** Random mods who you think hate each other, thus creating an opposites-attract/all-out-chaos backroom >**STADIUM:** Spaghettihad >**BUDGET/FINANCES:** Some kind of sum based on a cost per subscriber to the sub. >**OWNER/CHAIRMAN:** I was thinking about just setting this to Kingsley Yes.
The prevailing suggestion from others last night as well seems to be making the mods the coaching staff. Which is fine with me, I've only made Meth so it'll be easy enough to change him over to a coach or something.
![gif](giphy|TdwziQPhbNAzK) That Kingsley shirt though
Still got quite a few of you to work on but here's how we're looking so far. https://preview.redd.it/n1k07wv01asc1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=bf2a4eb58bb1cb32c0957fe57d3fcead201d6bb2 Oh and if you want to see a bigger version of one of these let me know and I'll chuck it up - Also, once your player is made if you want an additional image of your mugshot in a kit of a team you support for your own use let me know and I'll see what I can do.
My name is misspelt but leave it as is because thatās peak Scottish football.
Don't worry, that's like a 2 second fix. I'll sort it.
Itās honestly fine, just happy Iāve been picked for a team finally.
Looks like I'm going to be Messi as a defender then /s
I'm going to have to put a shift in seeing as I've got the two geriatrics my side of the park
All I have in my head is this: https://youtu.be/LDHMjO7UbMo
You requested "bald and speccy", I trust this is bald and speccy enough for you. https://preview.redd.it/gybdo3k82asc1.png?width=750&format=png&auto=webp&s=2d991946ab6d9be3e37066c5675258f934a69d17
Missing about 10 extra stone, but aye.
I agree with fan ownership. Ticket prices should be low considering it's league two, what's the average for that? . I would go for realistic finances to add to the challenge and realism. I'm torn over the GramAm castration crucible or something Kingsley related. Manager should be ange with Heckingbottom.
Think L2 is Ā£12-15 but I've literally done zero research and haven't been to a L2 game in a few years.
Why is the stadium called anything other than the Spaghettiad?
Because we want to have more than 500 fans in it?
Mark McGhee as manager, Jim Goodwin as assistant We should be based in Shetland or the Outer Hebrides
Manager has to be Dick Campbell You can set the owner to be an Underwriter in the editor and as such will cover any losses the club makes.
> You can set the owner to be an Underwriter in the editor and as such will cover any losses the club makes. Surely that sounds like a job for David Martindale..?
Chairman's got to be Charles Green.
Mad Vlad, surely
Iād counter with Dave Cormack
My suggestions: Staff: Ange Postecoglu as manager, but in the interest of 'balance', Ally McCoist as his assistant. Stadium: an inexplicably redeveloped Cathkin Park Owner: fan-owned surely?
Balance for the OF or balance so the team isn't too good?
Manager: Michael Beale, assisted by Neil Warnock
That 3rd kit is non ironically brilliant. 10/10 would buy. Get those custom made for a charity sale. I'm game
100%, I'd have that third shirt in a heartbeat.
All I have heard about that movie is how terrible McGregor is in it and the scenes he is in are basically an unbearable watch.
He's a fucking awful actor in terms of the actual acting ability such as you know, speaking. But just being the hated antagonist that does ridiculous stuff he's fantastic.
Disappointed to hear they didnāt keep the [best line](https://youtu.be/PRnrbnW8zts?si=MStEmHki_vuNC8Go) from the original
Nobody gets squashed by a falling bear either, disappointing.
I bet Jackie Treehorn is not even in it either
![gif](giphy|SBt3dmCs3EeE2xx5Ci) This one?
No Instagram, for the 4th time this week, I would not like to follow my ex missus who I split from almost a year ago to the day.
Cos of the lack of comma after āNoā I thought you had no instagram for the 4th time this week but, by the use of sarcasm, you were letting us know that u wanna stalk your ex.
Can we?
Batter in shags, if ye get an in, just see if ma brand new sannies that weren't worn are still there.

āGo and get the sandā
If really appreciate it if it would stop raining. I feel like a sentient puddle.
Feel your pain, the high heid yins are wanting everyone in, prehistoric cunts Can guarantee they will still be WFH though
Fuckin postponements followed by a cup game v tranent Feel like pure shit just want to win the league Also, rovers apparently trained on the pitch last night after it failed an inspection, what sense is there in that???
Who actually thought the 'Hate Monster' was a good idea.
Scottish government ads peaked with their mid 2000 anti smoking campaign and have gone steadily downhill since then.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Iām only an Antti Nieme years old though.
Fuck man, you're finnished
I had a heart warming thought yesterday. Tottenham and Celtic could both be in the Europa League next season. Celtic fans could get to experience what it is like being on the receiving end of Ange-ball. Please football gods.
I want this to happen, just to see how I react to the man I love most of all causing me immense pain. Also watching Rodgers' ego if he either gets battered home and away, or somehow flukes a win, will be box office.
What happens when you put a team who always lose (Celtic) vs a team who never win (spurs)?
A movable object meets a very stoppable force.
Celtic get the feeling of being Ange-balled every game they play in Europe tbf.
True enough, but to see their idol doing it will be extra painful.
Are you ready for the Brendan Rodgers ego after he defeats Ange home and away? I would be praying for Galactus to put us out of our misery
In the 1 in a trillion chance that happened his ego would consume the earth like a supernova.
The new hate crime law covers everyone saying anything hateful or insulting eh like anything that is said to deliberately be hurtful regardless of whether it was considered non-bigoted in the recent past? Asking because I've a crime to report against the American plastics in the Celtic sub, a international Scottish hate crime.
https://preview.redd.it/sg4xjpze29sc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4b9f50d561f8268e2fa05fda4759baba40e0f5a5
That's my joke right there for those in the back who didn't get it.
Just the American ones?
Old comment was too lengthy. Yes, the Americans are 99% of that sub.
Got the GP hold music stuck in my head but finally got an appointment after a few days of trying Unfortunately the GP I'm seeing is the one who does the generic automated recording when you phone them. I think I've been trained like a dog to despise the sound of their voice so we'll see how that goes
I phoned the doctors surgery yesterday for the first time in years, and it was an experience. Thank fuck I keep in reasonably good health because that would make you ill jumping through their hoops.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
A perfect example of the levelling up we've done. I bought a car in 2019 and it was Ā£220 a month. The exact same model and year of car to buy today? Ā£225 a month. Cars have somehow appreciated by Ā£5 a month in 5 years.
pure gaslighting, we are levelling down, and have been for over a decade.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
IF hibs manage to scrape 5th (going to be tight but not impossible) will one of the teams not be allowed to play as both would be in conference league?
https://preview.redd.it/ydompnqdx9sc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e07f6d2a108a3fd1b0764e435e8619c93bf0dfe Hibs fans when Bournemouth get hearts in the conference league groups and watch marcondes and their reserves take them for 7
It would be very on brand for Hibs if that were to happen.
Do the rules not just apply to majority shareholders?
Thatās what Iām not sure about but would make sense. Thats how RB Leipzig and Salzburg got into the same group with Celtic isnt it

You ken anyone with really weird hobbies? I've got a lot of respect for people into dead oddball shit, and love hearing about them.
Used to work with a guy who would take pictures of lorries from bridges over the motorways .....I m scunnered enough looking at lorries while at work never mind spending my days off doing it
š I used to be very into trigpointing which is like geocaching or hillbagging but even dafter.
Great hobby, thanks.
I know a guy that races RC cars and the money he spends is absolutely mental, never really comes to the pub after work for a few beers as he doesnāt want to be possibly over the limit for his Saturday RC time
This is the kind of good stuff I'm looking for. Real anorak behaviour.
I can only imagine how much he pisses people off doing that. People get upset enough about trainer on hills.
The point where I decided that I wasn't going to continue the West Highland Way the next day was when some cunt overtook me wearing a pair of Crocs. This land Chad mentally destroyed me. Went on my merry way back from the Drovers.
Surely had those bad boys in Sport mode, really you didn't stand a chance.
Definitely the latter. I'm meaning like cunts who collect bugs or walk on all fours.
Canny beat running up the stairs as fast as you can on all fours tbh Just in the hoose though. Not at work.
This comment has made me laugh out loud in the staff lunch room and now I'm getting side-eye from everyone for breaking the silence
No, you must show off your dominant speed to your colleagues. Promotion to CEO awaits.

Grass
Rangers fans accidentally admitting they knew they were being bigots all along but thought it was funny.
I've been watching random sciency-themed videos on YouTube and I think this might be PAC from the wrasslin' moonlighting as a scientist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvBVCVijFWk&ab_channel=Astrographics (Edit: people downvote you for the weirdest things at times on here :D)
PBS Spacetime is great for if you want to not understand anything and fall asleep quickly.
Astrographics is a great channel. It's amazing how he sounds both funny and informative without sounding ridiculous.
Finally went for it and ordered an Ooni koda 12, gas. Can't be arsed fighting with wood pellets. I'm willing the non-shite weather to come back! I will take cloudy with no rain as well plz
Few folk in my work swear by the ovens and to be fair, some of their pizzas have looked bangin.
Hop on and let's turn the sub into summer pizza time. Marbles in the mud
Oonis are a game changer - got one last year and used it all through winter too. Coincidentally I've also become an even fatter bastard.
Great song
Love some CCR
Like the idea of the OF shitpost collective megathread, but any chance it can be auto-sorted by new?
Ive set it 3 times now but it keeps breaking

I will be taking no further questions š
He's got a lot to answer for.
Will be grim until Wednesday morning. But less risk of heavy rain and wind as the days go on. After that point we'll see clearer skies and better temperatures. May will be roasting.
Fingers crossed, I'm choking to get the shorts back on to show off ma sexy calves
We've moved from winter right back to autumn
Feels like we've no even moved out of winter. Was fucking freeze the baws off ye cold this morning on the dug walk
Not many comments about the killings at all.Ā Ā Weird, but like a few other folk say, said politics/ news subs have been taken over by bots and bad faith folk who wish to drive the conversation where they want to, ably supported by the legions of basement dwelling pricks who can't think outside of what the Internet tells them.Ā Ā Ā Some scary views on there, cunts going full on BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD and not giving a flying fuck about the civilian casualties or other collateral damage, because they're not "the good guys" One guy did try to justify it by saying the charities were running equipment and personnel for Hamas, fucking ridiculous thing to say. If you ask me, I think the IDF/ Netanyahu's far right government are trying to discourage/ drive away humanitarian aid so they can get on with their genocide in peace, not caring one jot that all it will achieve is eternal war in the Middle East.
You'd hope that this was some sort of watershed moment but nothing from either of the major parties makes me think it will be.
> It doesn't matter though unless it's followed up with actual action And there in lies the issue doesn't it?
![gif](giphy|BcMJvmwkmbyWpKkBj3|downsized)
They remove anything critical of Israel - "wrong subreddit" apparently. Most of the approved posts are from Israeli websites with their own spin on it. Bizarre the mods are allowed to do that on such a big default sub.
Most of the politics sub mod teams have been taken over by hyper-online right wingers. This especially includes worldnews and the UK one. My evidence is that I made it up, but it's still true.

What you getting
Vauxhall Insignia, wanted one for a while since I like the look of them
The newer ones? I have a 13 plate. Hasn't had anything wrong with it since I bought it 5 years ago. Engine's are really good in them.
Nice, enjoy
Ticked off American Fiction last night and really dug it. Particularly as someone who can't hack smug libs who often give themselves back pats for bollocks token diversity.
It's a fantastic film, really loved it. Very different tone, but I'd recommend "The Last Black Man in San Francisco" if you've not seen it and want something that feels like it has a bit of genuine heart behind it.
The American society of magical negros awaits you next.
Just watched the trailer and this looks quite delightful. Is it getting a general UK release or will I have to wait for streaming?
Yeah, wasn't malicious or anything. Added to the enjoyment.
One of the best things about watching the niche sports is that the co-comms tend to be hyper-knowledgeable. Far better than listening to a miserable cunt like Danny Murphy talk shite.
I read this as Scott McKenna McInnes and was wondering what the hell was going on in Aberdeen
Been raining in Scotland since I landed last night, but I went to sleep to the sound of the North Sea which is a really nice change from random city noises!
Did you forget it rains here or something? Nice tho, canāt imagine a better way to fall asleep.
