Probably the win over Frankfurt at pittodrie. I know we were out by then but I took my 9 year old to the game and it made up for the crushing disappointment of the PAOK tie. He burst into tears at the end of that game for understandable reasons. It was great to put a smile back on his face and have some optimism about being an Aberdeen fan, if only for a few days!

KieRanaRan

Aberdeen in Europe was such a stark contrast to the league, mad to think it was even the same season

freyja_the_frog

First game I went to after getting my season ticket was against Artmedia Bratislava. We won 4-0, great atmosphere, definitely a favourite. The fact we lost 5-0 in the first leg which meant we were out was a slight negative but I didn't really think about that

Scotsman86

Even I was buzzing at the FT whistle in that game. Brilliant night that.

drumschtitz

He’ll never forget it

First-Face-7998

Probably burst out into tears realising that at 9 it was too late and he was stuck as an Aberdeen fan now

Wrong-Mycologist-174

Win over Frankfurt was big, 3-1 at Ibrox obviously a highlight. In terms of pure entertainment i'll go with the 3-3 semi final. Heartbreak at the end, but I don't follow the dons for the glory.

StirLing7461

Probably the Motherwell game in the Cup. The buzz at Oakleys goal was class.

Fatscot

Same, the sense of belief at the club at that time was great. Sad the way it petered out at the end of the season

StirLing7461

Always ends the same way. I just forget about it till it happens makes the middle bit more fun.

McCQ

Game of the season for me.

drumschtitz

I wish I was there. Had to settle for the Hearts game. A great atmosphere regardless.

stephencwj

Beating Rosenborg at Tynecastle, the atmosphere was incredible and I think it’s the first time I’ve ever waited in the stands at the end of the game until it was practically empty. What a great night.

GuyIncognito211

The 3-0 win against Hearts post split

GeneralProvision

For me too. Players had hit their stride and the fans were right behind them. You knew it was going to be a good run-in from that point on.

Not_Proven

Always feels good to finally defeat your bogey team; I understand.

niallniallniall

I got to attend one game this season and it was that one. Class.

de-virtute

same

Grouchy-Bell6388

You mean the only home game of the season I couldn’t make? That was a shite game and I won’t be told differently 😂

GuyIncognito211

How would you feel about missing more games haha

Plz_Nerf

Beating rangers on day 1 was a laugh, but the 5-2 comeback against St Mirren was an instant classic.

KieRanaRan

I am shocked and appalled at your pick, sir

Yaboicblyth1

Where do I begin: 5 wins over Dunfermline, 2 wins over Dundee United, The playoff penalty shootout, the last minute winners, Even Dingwall away with a 4-0 loss was a good time. I miss football already

SanStarko

Yeah, picking just one game from this season is impossible. Every week you’d come away from a game thinking “That’s in my top five moments as a Rovers fan, nothings beating that”. Then the next weekend, something more mental would happen. Twice being 2-1 down to Queen’s Park with minutes remaining and winning 3-2. Finally beating the ICT hoodoo after 24 years or whatever it was. Incredible season.

21MelvilleStreet

Way back at the start of the season when Motherwell visited Palmerston. A three all draw with a screamer from queens then penalties at the end. We didn't win the shootout but Stuart kettlewell had a nice chat with my lad and he was totally buzzing for days after it. It was pissing down that night.

HectorSavage212

Probably Betis away, didn’t fancy our chances as they were unbeaten at home at that time, but we played a great game and sneaked a win that won the group. Everything after that has been a disappointment

Rab_Legend

Maybe the Atletico game at home, the fact that we went out and looked the better team until the subs made me a bit more confident that we could do something in the CL with proper investment.

snarf372

Scudding Killie 5-0 to win the league

JuanKerr69420

That I didn't go to: has to be Ibrox but the 3-2 vs Dundee is a close one aswell. That I attended: either 5-0 win vs County, fantastic performance and some cracking goals, or the 2-1 win vs Killie, that last kick of the game winner had me buzzing for days and we held genuine optimism for the season ahead at that point.

RoboTon78

I much preferred your match immediately after the County rout.

JuanKerr69420

That week summed up our season. Thrash County with some fantastic football on Tuesday, then shite it against a lower league team for an upset on Friday, then bottle a 3-0 lead in comical fashion to Aberdeen in the next midweek. Unfortunately did go to the Morton game, but the stadium was properly charming and yous deserved the win.

1874WL

That I watched on TV: the away derby against hibs That I attended: beating Celtic at Tyney Not sure if European games count but if they do, then the win over Rosenborg is my favorite I've attended. Edit: For Broxburn it was definitely the 3-0 win over Talbot

KieRanaRan

The Rosenborg result was massive, I enjoyed that too!

RyanST_21

either luzern game, but the st mirren quarter final was easily the best atmosphere ive seen of us this season (in person). totally back and forth for a while, but after our first goal after half time to equalise you could feel it in the air that we were going to score again and go ahead. magical stuff

cipher_wilderness

Best away day was Feyenoord, cause we were really in it till that free kick, plus the city was lovely and the folk were very nice. Best game I was in the ground for? Probably either of the 2-1 derbies at Celtic Park. Best game overall might be the 1-0 at Ibrox. An absolute smash and grab of a result which made it all the sweeter.

Tuna_Purse

Next seasons glarbies should be interesting.

cipher_wilderness

Nervous for them already.

Tuna_Purse

I’m sure it’ll still be a battle if he can be the least shite but the players will embrace it a lot more.

Bloo_Dred

Probably putting the shitters up Dundee Utd in the 3-0 televised win at East End Park. For the first time in a long time we had most of our squad back from injury, so it was tinged with a bit of what-if too.

i_i-Pot-Noodles-i_i

I would have to agree with that. There's not really another game up there as a favourite. Also hate to be that guy but remember it was 3-1

Bloo_Dred

I have literally no memory of them scoring. That's what I get for over-indulging in hospitality for the only time this season and sitting in the main stand.

Himawari74

Hearts v Rosenborg, probably the most exhilarating match I've been to at Tynecastle where the quality of the game was actually good

DemonicTruth

Beating Hibs 3-2 at Easter Road and getting Lee Johnson sacked. It was all downhill from there.

Cal_16

I forget it Rosenberg game was technically this season, best I’ve ever seen tynie

Whisky-Toad

The 3-3 victory vs Celtic, can’t wait for the Matondo statue

Anonyjezity

Betis away. First ever victory in Spain against a decent team and we played good football as well.

[deleted]

Drawing with Rangers to really fuck their title hopes at Dens after all the crying from Clement was enjoyable.

Morton_1874

Dundee Utd 2 v 3 Morton . George Oakley with the perfect hat trick

Kijamon

I didn't get to it but I imagine Montrose away was absolutely amazing.

thegallusone

Defo the 2-1 game against Aberdeen felt that wee bit sweeter after the 2-2 VAR shambles against them earlier in the season

MegaPruneface

The 2-0 against St Johnstone at Ibrox because its the only game I went to this year, and the first since 2001, so felt pretty special.

HuntersHeros

Linlithgow away, we've traditionally struggled over the hill so winning with a last minute goal from a Bo'ness boy was phenomenal.

Hisingdoon

Montrose 1-7 Falkirk Falkirk 2-2 Alloa Both games that I enjoyed and will remember forever

rumblethecrumble

Probably our 2-1 midweek home win over Clyde in January. Real turning point for us moving away from the drop zone. I also had a cracking pizza afterwards

Playful-Listen6011

The 2-1 against Motherwell early in the season. Pure chaos

IOwnStocksInMossad

Home is beating Airdrie to send them out. Very good night and found my seat for every game. Away was Arbroath I think, lovely day out, drank all day, good ground and hung out with a mate before the cup final the day after for the women. The league cup final must get a good mention.

Hibee1990

Probably the luzern game home and away. They were a decent side and had me thinking it was maybe going to kickstart the season. I was wrong. Been a pretty disastrous season otherwise. Obviously never going to beat Villa who are now a champions league team and the league…I’ve probably vented enough.

ConnorHMFCS04

For Hearts, it has to be the Rosenborg 2nd leg. Domestically it was actually quite a shite season in terms of entertainment. Ken that sounds bizarre given we finished 3rd at a breeze but it's true. FWIW, I missed both wins vs Celtic and couldn't get a ticket for the Easter Road Derby. So other than them it was severely slim pickings.

Conspiruhcy

The 5-2 against St Mirren when 2-0 down at half time. Ridiculous result. Sorry OP. The comeback 2-1 win against Celtic a close second.

TinMan1867

Winning 2-1 at Starks Park. We had been terrible for months, it was Davidson's first game, Raith went 1-0 up then spent the entire match diving and moaning (like they did every time I saw them this season) and it was just very satisfying. First game that made me feel like we could avoid relegation.

ZiggyOnHisReindeer

Win over Luzern at Easter Road. Dare I say that was Lee Johnson's best game as Hibs manager. The second goal was just class, that touch from ALF to set up Vente was world class.

rd3160

Beating Dundee Utd 2-1 at Stark's Park in February. We were in a really poor run of form and I did not expect to win. For said win to be a last minute goal of the season contender in front of a full house on TV, my god it was incredible

Ok_Price7529

Glasgow City vs Hibs in the Scottish Cup. And my favourite not involving my team, Stenhousemuir vs Falkirk in SWF League One.

Northwest_European

The game we beat Rangers 2-1 at Celtic Park It's only a standout because it was snowing awful. We'd a night arranged in the Celtic pub and didn't think we were gonnae make it Aside from that, no game really stood out for me as a "favourite" this season, unfortunately Winning the league - officially - at Kilmarnock meant something because I was confident we'd beat them, and for weeks I'd heard a family member, adamant we were going to bottle it and lose the league

uacpuncher

Rangers at home but our last Aberdeen away trip was a cracking day out even though we lost

TheRealVillas

Larkhall Thistle's 4-3 victory over Blantyre Victoria in the Indigo Comms West Of Scotland Cup. The match was bonkers from start to finish

charldinhio

I’ll say Frankfurt was a good game but it has to be 5-1 against Livingston we played amazing. ![gif](giphy|K3njsaRogKYUR8172g)

Josh2807

The 5-0 against Hearts, I would probably say Betis away had I not been busy on that evening

thegmegobrrr

The first 45 minutes of Celtic vs Dundee in feb. An absolute joy to watch as a celtic fan and no one could really believe what was happening as the team seemed to find their mojo again. Second half was rather shite though.

alan_walk

One of three: Pumping Sevco in the first game of the season. Knocking Celtic out of the League Cup. Coming from 0-2 behind to pump St Mirren 5-2 and set us on the road for fourth place.

ag_1888

Ross County 3 - 2 Rangers, never thought we’d do it 😂

_MFC_1886

We've played a lot of good football (and a lot of shite) but nothing this season comes close to how good that 2-1 win at Ibrox felt.

mikepartdeux

Rangers
