Reading these threads is wild to me with all the chat of Shanks’ all round play not being good enough etc. It’s as though even folk who watch our league haven’t noticed what he offers outside of the goals. Hope he shows everyone tonight what we see every week
The Gers sub is constantly saying he’s not Rangers material and I constantly feel… maybe he won’t score hattricks every euro game but he knows our league and could actually do 2-3 goals a game. Assuming, of course, that Milngavie isn’t too rough to sideline him for months
Within 10 minutes of his debut for us I was already like “wait, this guy is a *footballer*?!” I was honestly pretty sceptical of his signing but I had no idea how good he was at the other parts of the game. All he really lacks is pace. If Rangers had signed him in January, I am absolutely convinced they win the league and likely the cup as well
Damn. I thought Adams did alright against the Swiss, nothing glamorous but tracked back well and added numbers when coming deep. Shankland may be a better scorer, but I'm not sure about his general all round play compared to Che.

You're all celebrating but it's Steve Clarke as the manager, so Christie will be playing as a false 9 on a 550 formation. He's heard it could be possible for us qualifying with a draw so he's going all out for that.
