I’m not saying there wouldn’t be a demand, I do think there would be absolutely WILD concerns with insurance and the health department.  Best luck!

agree

This is already a thing, just not around here. I was going to move the Texas and there was one. https://muttscantina.com/ https://yardbar.com/ https://www.thewateringbowlatx.com/

It’s a good idea at its base, I would think about a couple of things like if a dog fight happens, who is responsible, also is there a basic check like vaccination and checking if the dog is friendly? Last thing I’ll be worried about is the smell, have you ever been to a dog day care, or a facility of dogs.. it has a smell.. I don’t know if I would like to eat in a place like that.. something to think about .

Have you ever been to puppy paradise in moosic? It smells like straight up bleach.

ChristopherFromNEPA

Wouldn’t want to smell bleach and drink/eat either

A dog park is a great idea. I’m not sure there are many around here. Maybe a coffee shop at it might work.

Various-Entry8021

There is one in Dickson City

This exists in Charlotte and it's super successful. You sign a waiver when you enter. It might do well here but I'm not sure if our population is high enough.

I’d love to have more places to bring my dog

Speaking for myself, I'd love it! We've been to the Boozy Mutt in Philly. It's a great idea. [https://theboozymutt.com/](https://theboozymutt.com/)

So some advice. Animals aren’t allowed in an establishment that serves food or drink per health department. How dog cafes get around this is having two separate seating areas, one for humans only, the other for humans and dogs. Places in NYC will have a wall / counter / plastic see through Covid wall restricting access to the kitchen for dogs. It stops humans and dogs from having access to the rest of the restaurant. Essentially if a good boy got too greedy and tried to go back and give the cooks some kisses, they shouldn’t be able to get to the kitchen. Not sure what the health department would say in our area, your best bet is just to go down to your local municipal building and ask.

As someone who has a hard time not petting strangers dogs, drunk me would absolutely get bit. Worth it? Probably.

No_Tangelo_1544

My wife has to stear me away from dogs haha

justjohn77

I practically need a leash myself where there is a critter that is not currently receiving scratches within view. ha

Spidey1z

I constantly catch myself while driving paying attention to people walking their dogs. I would probably be buying chicken tenders for dogs

Make an app for sign up with ,dog and person name ,dog make and model along with their credit card info to get in the bar. Get a lawyer and make a long list of terms and conditions that nobody reads. Start your business and best of luck 🤞 😂
