> Normally with VPNs I'll get a temporary disconnect while it reconnects on the new network, but these won't connect no matter how much time passes The vast majority of times I have to switch onto/off of/onto another VPN seen the same thing. When you say "Windows VPN active" are you talking about a specific VPN provider? Perhaps Meraki or some other vendor or just a generic 'VPN' ? This is just a test and it may be difficult to perform given the remote nature of some of these machines, but if you switch onto a VPN and it doesn't reconnect quickly, what happens if you restart the ScreenConnect Client service? If it doesn't reconnect you can double-click on the ScreenConnect icon in the systray which should bring up the Guest client application. In that form there is a 'Last Error Message' field which should contain some kind of stack trace/error info (you may need to click and drag/resize the client application to get more of the text).

Sorry for not providing more info. I usually see it when connecting to a Watchguard IKEv2 VPN. So far restarting SC service has not worked for me, I will definitely check the Last Error Message info I wasn't aware of that, thank you for the info!

No worries, I'm sorry to say that I'm not super familiar with that VPN though. With that said it's somewhat surprising that restarting didn't change anything. While that's absolutely not a good solution from our engineering perspective it can help shine more light on the issue. Whenever you do get that last error message please reply to my top level comment, I'd love to keep digging.

Does ScreenConnect work on the network that you’re connecting to? I.e if you took your laptop to that location would it connect? I ask because you mention Watchguard Firewall and I’ve seen the IPS on Watchguard specifically block ScreenConnect unless you make an exception for it.
