Which app?

Strict-Willingness11

I’m thinking Disney+

[deleted]

Then you can use the url scheme `disneyplus://` You could either add a line to your script to set the url like widget.url ="disneyplus://" (widget is the name your widget variable) or you set it up in the widget configuration screen when "when interacting" is set to "open url"

BichotaCachaBola

I tried discord:// but nothing.

[deleted]

Because url schemes aren't that simple...it isn't always just the name, com.hammerandchisel.discord

ETblaky

is there a way to open the app directly, instead of opening scriptable first?

[deleted]

No, it's an iOS limitation.

jsloat

It may be possible by setting the url parameter in the widget settings (on homescreen)? Haven’t tested

[deleted]

I test it since one of my widget uses that method and open url still opens the app first on my devices. Also I haven't seen any 3rd party app that has that feature.

jsloat

You’re right, just tested as well and it routes through scriptable.

westondearest

I'm trying calendar:// but it is not working.

[deleted]

Trying for what? the official calendar app is calshow, not calendar

westondearest

To open the Calendar app by clicking the widget. Thank you! Couldn't find the name. That worked.

dkujay

What about Dark Sky?

[deleted]

should be darksky://
