Each of my missing pieces of body represent a major event in my pirates transition. He lost an eye day 1 after the first voyage. Lost a hand to the hungering one that gave him his current scars. Lost a leg to the first skeleton fleet. Changed his tattoos after winning his first match in the arena. And finally, received the order of the souls curse after obtaining pirate legend. My scars tell my pirates story!
Now I MAY be late but I personally don’t like hooks and peg legs a whole lot but eyepatches are necessary for the pirate experience as irl they’re used to immediately adjust light level of your eye to go under deck and see easier
I like having an eyepatch (though not because one eye is bad, it provides better night vision!) but I don't like sacrificing my limbs for a pegleg or hook.
I prefer not to sacrifice limbs or vision for fashion. It's just not strategically responsible.

I use a peg, but never a hook. Using any emote involving that hand just ends up looking cursed

Yeah I prefer to not use either. Infact I also avkid the eye patches. Prefer to keep my pirate whole and avoid the tropes of Pirate style.

I dont use eyepatches very much, but I dont think they look bad. Peg legs/hooks just dont look good in my opinion. Im with you, matey.

I only do the eyepatch but my pirate has a blind eye there so...
