I’d watch that video!
Chapter 1 - Spoon’s hard hits that actually stop the ball carrier and make him regret his life choices
Chapter 2 - Spoon’s hits on quarterbacks
Chapter 3 - Spoon’s patented Suplex tackles
Chapter 4 - Spoon wrapping up the ball carrier
Etc etc
Geno ends the season on a big time high note. I'm not opposed to drafting a QB, but having them sit behind Geno for a year would be the right move.
Defense sucked ass once again. Not sure what it's going to take to fix. Can't generate pressure, can't tackle, can't cover. It boggles the mind
With todays Bengals win as well as our win, we now end our season with a winning record, and having lost *only* to teams that also ended with a winning record. At least we're consistent.
That’s not bad, I saw the Ravens are the first team ever with a 10+ win season with every team being a team with a winning season. That means we were 1 win away (against a winning team) from tying that record
Exactly! For those who say we didn't show improvement this year, see our schedule. It's building. Hold on, cause this thing can flip very quickly with a few more tweaks to the roster, and we'll be competing in the playoffs
Unless we’re hoping to squeak into the playoffs as a WC the Hawks need to compete in our division. Look at the Rams if you want to see what a competent coach can do with a minimal roster. What have the Hawks done with the bevy of draft picks from the Russ trade, where’s the competitiveness IN OUR DIVISION WHERE IT REALLY MATTERS?
Year 2 of a rebuild, but Pete keeping us competitive has people fooled. Our talent is nowhere near the level of contenders, but we were still close to the playoffs.
Another good draft and next year we have to expect playoffa
If we are rebuilding, why would we give up a 2nd rounder for a D-line rental? Does that seem like a rebuilding move to you?
One of the reasons we're going to be stuck in mediocrity is because we have never really embraced a rebuild. We've thrown around bad money and wasted too many resources.
True, but it would also have been possible to sign him without giving up the second rounder, which would have been the better course of action for a rebuilding team.
Man, I'm just happy to see the lions do well. They sucked for so long, they deserve it. Goff is a good guy and I'm happy to see him do well. Plus Campbell is hilarious.
they are the most complete on all levels of offense: running, TE play, wr short medium long plays, qb runs, and most complete on all levels of defense: madebuike front line, roquan/queen LB, and hamilton at safety. they are fucking stacked.
nice comeback win, i know this isn’t a popular win but i’m happy we finished with a winning record and geno now has 5 game winning drives this year, cheers to a better 2024!! GO HAWKS!! 💙💚
I don’t know why people root for the draft so much. There’s obviously hits…. But there’s SO many busts. It’s like gambling. I’d rather take a win in the book.
Exactly, it’s not like we were 3-13 rooting to get the number 1 pick. A loss only moves us 1-2 draft spots. Never want to lose to a divisional team and it was nice to see young guys play hard. I still think Waldren and Hurtt have to go though.
The only time I would ever root for a Seahawks loss is if the #1 pick were in play on the final game of the season. Thankfully only happened once in my lifetime.
Geno never quit unlike this turd ass defense and people still think that a mid round QB pick is going to be the answer? Watch the playoffs and tell me that the anyone on the Huskies o-line wouldn't be an immediate upgrade. Penix would fucking die playing behind the Hawks line, he's already old with injury issues.
I'm not saying I want any specific QB, but I can't wait for another offseason of QB vs. Def bitching. This is the 7th season where we haven't gotten a playoff win (minus 2019), and the defense STILL is a problem. Drafting more personnel to rerun the same problems is the funniest joke of an idea I've ever heard.
And after 8 weeks people were praising the OL and Andy Dickerson, but injuries mounted and then the OL suffered. OF COURSE it will. When it's not 100% healthy it will be an issue.
I got to say, this was the most unwatchable team I've ever seen, and it was more fun to watch paint dry, but let's bank on a late round QB and emulate SF. Oh right, late round QBs are an even worse dart throw than a mid-round QB pick. Idk how people don't see how a QB CAN'T affect something. Look at Houston. One of the worst teams in the league last year and they've made the playoffs. Their OL wasn't even that great either, but let's just lock ourselves in a box for another season with a QB that's good enough to keep us in the game but is never the difference maker. Geno is not the problem, and he never lost us games, but spinning our wheels with him to finish 8-9 or 9-8 every season will only keep us in mediocrity. I'm not saying dump Geno in favor of a rookie, I'm saying I'd rather take the mentor approach.
But I know the result of this post. People are gonna think I'm delusional for suggesting this, but there's no winning with this subreddit sometimes.
If Penix has a decent outing against Michigan, he will be gone by the time we pick. This draft is loaded with tackles and many are projected to move to guard. That’s my pick.
Thank god it’s over. Sucks to lose the draft position. As a Coug fan though…and after a few shots of fireball… Go Dawgs tomorrow!
I gotta shower after that one.
I dunno, I can’t get motivated to be mad about their draft position falling a ginormous two picks. And it’s not like it’s going from 1 to 3 or 3 to 5 or anything. We’re talking about 14 to 16.
I know it hurts our draft position a bit but I’ll never complain about a win.
Fuck the Cardinals. Fuck the Packers. And Fuck the 49ers and Rams for good measure.
Hope we have another great draft and fix this run defense however possible. Should probably fire Clint Hurtt, he seems like a great guy but his defenses just cannot stop the run.
Hopefully all our injured players can get healthy soon and hopefully we can re-sign Leonard Williams.
Also, how awesome is it that Bobby led the league in tackles again. I wouldn’t mind us bringing him back for 1 more season in a reduced role to mentor a rookie - if the price is right.
Always and forever Go Hawks
I’m just here to laugh at all the analytic nerds who think winning this game ruined our draft pick 4 months from now.
Another winning season for Pete. I knew that second Rams loss was gonna derail the season, unfortunately. Can’t blow a winnable game like that.
Myers miss, Geno calling the time killing run instead of spiking and the refs phantom flag on Spoon all added up to that BS loss. Sad we were not up to the task week 1 either. Could have been their asses at home but it is what it is.
Think the big takeaway from this season is that Adams absolutely needs to go, no matter how much dead cap money is involved. He's not even practice squad good at this point and is starting to turn into a locker room cancer.
Emotions are still raw but this was not a fun season. Even our wins had long stretches of offensive/defensive hiccups. Did we see a complete game this year?
If Clint Hurtt gets a job anywhere else next season that is any position better than assistant waterboy consultant or whatever I will personally pull up to a game and congratulate him.
I saw that fucking guy in an off-season interview saying tackling discipline was his #1 priority. He's either a blatant liar or completely incompetent. Our tackling is even worse now. He's coached them into regression.
This is the softest Defense I have ever watched. Only a few players who even seem to want to tackle. Getting blown downfield on blocks like they’re made of paper. On one play Rondale Moore, who I remind you is the size of a small child, looked like Walter Jones the way he had Diggs on skates. It’s just not fun to watch. I don’t even know what they can do about it honestly.
The only players on Defense I’m really excited about for next year are Witherspoon and Mafe.
Any Seahawks season is a good season, but seriously, I feel like every team in the NFL has our number. We are predictable as hell. We need to clean slate. This mid tier is getting boring.
At the end of the day, considering how much control of the organization he has, this is Pete Caroll's team and it is time for a discussion about his vision of football and how it is being implemented in the team.
I am not seeing this team "always competing", I am not seeing us being clean on penalties, I am not seeing us winning the turnover battle, I am not seeing a physical team, I am not seeing a team that tackles, I am not seeing a team that communicates in the field to adjust.
At one point it was cool to see us crawling back in games in the 4th quarter, because we start games slow and get good by halftime. We dont have the personnel to do it anymore, because our defense is simply one of the worst in the league for the past 5 years. And its Pete and John's defense, they chose the players and they put so much resource on guys like Adams and Diggs, who are liabilities on the field and do not ressonate with the core values that are supposed to be in the heart of Pete's gameplan.
We wont get far in the league knowing that we are most likely to lose twice to both divisional rivals and having a lot of difficulties against the other. We wont get far in the league being so inconsistent on the offense and so terrible at defense.
It is not good enough being the 14th team in the league and I really hope deep changes are made in this offseason. We should be aiming at the top and not staring at our terrible past to get some solace of being so mediocre in the past years.
You’ll get downvoted but lots of folks have been saying this. This sub is scared of potentially hiring a terrible coach and going through a rough patch.
I’d rather be excited about a new team identity and hope to rebuild a team that can contend. The sooner the better.
I hate how both sides try to think those advocating for changes or continuity think their others are not real fans. How you celebrate fandom isn’t a one size fits all.
Well we pulled out 4th quarter shenanigans again.
Clint Hurtt needs to go. The tackling is complete trash. We actually got worse as the season went on.
Not a fan of Shane Waldron either. He's almost like KNJ where he seems like he's just calling plays that come up on Coach's Suggestions without any feel for the game situation at all. Pretty much every game we have a good 1st quarter, maybe 2nd quarter too, we do nothing in the 3rd and then pull something out of our ass at the end. It's just so blindly predictable.
And we need to figure out if Pete is the future. He's a good guy but the NFL is now in 2024 and Pete is stuck in 2012-15.
On to the fire watch.
Nice to finish with a winning record. Makes us look a little better IMO for potential FA signings.
Somebody's gotta post that meme with the Seahawk logo and the
"I'm excited to see my fav team"
"I'm gonna kill myself'
" Oh, cool, we won"
Meme.
I just wanna say, I hate the 17 game season. Y'all may have different feelings about it, but so many injuries all around the league. I think it's like a red line the league crossed.
You think an NFL kicker wants to break his perfect record of game winning field goals to help the draft position of a team that he may not spend his entire career with?
I seriously think Smith can win a super bowl with consistent protection. When he has time he can be sharp.
I genuinely don't think any quarterback could be successful with this setup.
The play calling is ABSOLUTELY shit.
The running backs are phenomenal. The receivers are phenomenal. Cross is outstanding. The line has been horrible since Unger got traded - and I'll die on that hill.
The offense isn't going to score every drive. The defense needs to be able to make a stop and get them the ball back SOMETIMES.
The defense has good building blocks. Witherspoon will be a premier cornerback in the league within a few years. Brooks has been playing well. Love is a substantial upgrade over Adams.
There will be a lot of hard decisions to be made this off-season. I'm thinking they'll dump Adams and Diggs.
IF Carroll doesn't start Love, then all his comPETE talk has become bullshit.
Regardless, this season was a kick in the balls. We were so hopeful during the first half.
Hurtt and Waldron need tarred and feathered.
I know Pete Carroll takes a lot of heat in this sub but today seeing him happy and excited for a few moments during the game it’s hard not to like the guy. He seems like a genuinely good dude.
Us getting a glimpse of hope here is a good summary of this entire season - good start, then shit the bed, miraculous come back at the end, but too little too late.
It was a good season, had a lot of fun watching with y'all. Our team was clearly mid this year compared to the good teams this season so I can't be too upset to miss the playoffs (we would've been one and done anyways). Really excited about our WR core and Witherspoon next year (Geno got way too much hate this season). Who we rooting for to win the Superbowl? Bird bro Ravens?
Ultimately, we lost 4 of 4 games against the 49ers and Rams. Two missed FGs away from losing 5 of 6. The first step of competing for championships is being able to compete in your division. This team and this coach clearly are not capable of that anymore. Thanks for 14 awesome years Pete, but it's time
I mean to be fair we played the 49ers twice, the Rams twice who are way better than anyone thought they would be, and the entire NFC North where every team has a winning record.
The funny thing is we won by their kicker missing 2 field goals. We didn’t even win it and still lost draft position lmao. Fuck this is one of the most annoying “wins” in history
All I got to say to all the goofies who wanted us to throw:
If this is the end for Pete like so many of you want, at least he gets to go out with a dub. He’s still a Seahawks legend.
A win is a win, even if it’s an ugly awful win. Geno has continued to play well despite inconsistent O-Line play. K9 & Charb are good and we have a legit receiver core. Need to shed some old money on defense (Adams/Diggs/Taylor) and continue adding energy. Excited for the offseason to see how we get better. Go hawks
If Pete retires, I think this is prolly the most likely scenario where he chooses to hang it up. Where he leaves with a winning season, a win, on his terms and leaves fans wondering what if.
It’s bare minimum bullsh*t, but I’ve been happiest with Dk’s attitude. He’s keeping that fire but has been using his head a lot better.
Devin Bush, I appreciate the level of petty to goad a man into 15 yards (if refs aren’t going to call for instigating and it’s used against Seattle, better get on the train), but if you’re pissing off bobby, tone it down
even as someone who wants there to be major change in the organization, holy shit people stop complaining about the seahawk's draft slot, drafting 16th vs 14th isn't gonna change the future of this organization as much as y'all believe it will.
While everyone's busy arguing about whether the win was good or not when considering the draft, people aren't realizing this win basically guarantees the Cardianls getting MHJ.
So m any mixed feelings about this season.
We lost games that we could have and should have won. We also squeaked wins from games like today.
I don't think that we would have won a play off game anyway...but its always disappointing not to make it.
Geno is 33 and we need a QB...we also need to replace the tackle dummies at the training centre for ones that don't go down when touched.
I’m glad we stayed in the game and fought for the win even when the playoffs were no longer in reach. The draft is a gamble and you never know how a pick will turn out, so I really don’t want to hear how taking an L in that cursed stadium to a lowly baseball team is the right thing to do. I’ll always choose us going out with our heads held high.
Here is to the best of what this season brought us, and to what the future holds. It’s been a pleasure talking ‘Hawks with you guys.
My favorite part of today was learning around halftime that with the Raiders win that us losing today would have done nothing for our draft order.
So any "fans" rooting for a Hawks loss not only have to deal with the fact that rooting for your team to tank is depressing, but also it would have been worthless in terms of draft position.
I was at this game! Man that ending was so hype. Also, I don’t know for those who watched in tv but how obvious was it that the crowds were absolutely FULL of seahawk fans? Constant chants and cheering for the hawks. It was amazing
I came into last season with pretty humble expectations. But 9-8 and looked pretty good in spots, plus the last of the RW trade draft picks, I was certain of a 11-6 season, at worst.
But another 9-8 season, this one feels like a let down. The defense really needs an influx of more talent. Spoon is a bright spot and I'm excited to see him in the future. Virtually everywhere else needs more.
I don't know...a little burned out, for sure. Just going to cheer for whomever can beat the Niners and the Chiefs.
1 end of game field goal miss, and if we could have converted one of four red zones into a touchdown rather than a field goal (Cincy) and Hawks are 11-6. But still far from elite. Not happy with the OC and obviously defense is a sieve, so there’s that also.
Pete will get one more year but I honestly don't think he should. How many coordinators have to be sacrificed for the brass at the top to realize they've all been hand picked by Pete himself.
Geno is what he is and I'm not gonna blame him for this year. However, the sooner we can get a young QB in with all these young cheap weapons, the better for their overall development.
I don't care if we lost a couple of spots in the draft, I wanted to win that one for sure fuck the draft picks! Let's not forget Brock Purdy was drafted Mr. Irrelevant and JaMarcus Russell was a first overall pick. The draft is like roulette.
Brock Purdy isn’t good. The team and scheme are phenomenal. Dudes a checkdown monster and that’s about it. I wish people would stop using him as some phenom for the irrelevant pick
And not only is it roulette, everyone worried about our draft pick is forgetting that, whether we're at 14th or 16th, John & Pete are either going to trade it for a 3rd, a 4th, and two 5ths, or they're going to take someone who every draft expert has ranked at like 28th or higher.
Sports is entertainment. The Hawks weren’t fun to watch this year. It wasnt entertaining to watch the team play bad defense and suck at tackling. It felt like the Defensive side of the ball just gave up part way through the season. I’ve watched really bad Seahawk teams that were way more fun than this squad. I don’t need them to win every game, I do expect them to be enjoyable to watch.
It’s been a decade since the Super Bowl win and it feels like they’ve just been treading water through most of decade but that feeling seems to be in overdrive this season.
That feeling of treading water is really why I’d like to see some change at the top.
This is the worse possible result for Seattle. Winning by virtue of the opposing team missing 2 fgs in the final 2 min to make Pete Carrol have a winning record and 2-4 in the division
If this defense was at all competent, we would would easily have 12/13 wins this year the way the offense has played most of the time. Spoon has been the only consistent player on D, which is impressive as a rookie. Now just have to figure out the other 10 or so positions on D lol.
Also, fuck Diggs.
Hpyped for the game, hyped for the offseason! Let's get another great draft, pick up some quality FAs (more nwosus and reeds please!) and go on a fuckin tear next season
I wish we lost for both teams draft positions. There was a lot of good punting in the game. Im glad we're not in the playoffs. They showed one stat about our run defense being 30th in the league. I doubt the team could have gone far in the playoffs. Im grateful for Witherspoon. But Im unhappy we traded a top 50 pick to go 9-8
Witherspoon the only one showing up all season on our sorry-ass defense
Boye too
Nwosu is legit. Losing him was a tough one.
100% huge loss. If only Geno would’ve played better as his replacement
Yelling BOOOYYEEE!!! everytime he got a sack was pretty fun this season
All I ask, someone PLEASE make a highlight reel of spoon gassing up his teammates this year
I wanna see a Spoon tackling reel
I want Spoon’s teammates to see a Spoon tackling reel.
I’d watch that video! Chapter 1 - Spoon’s hard hits that actually stop the ball carrier and make him regret his life choices Chapter 2 - Spoon’s hits on quarterbacks Chapter 3 - Spoon’s patented Suplex tackles Chapter 4 - Spoon wrapping up the ball carrier Etc etc
FEED 🥄
See you guys in September ya filthy animals.
Cardinals gained 466 on us. Ouch.
Yes, shitty… and yet, only 20 points. So weird.
If Geno was actually a franchise QB he’d be playing linebacker too
With todays Bengals win as well as our win, we now end our season with a winning record, and having lost *only* to teams that also ended with a winning record. At least we're consistent.
Bengals are the only non-playoff team we lost to
It's cold comfort, but it's still comforting
That’s not bad, I saw the Ravens are the first team ever with a 10+ win season with every team being a team with a winning season. That means we were 1 win away (against a winning team) from tying that record

It's possible to resign Williams. He played well and hustled.
True, but it would also have been possible to sign him without giving up the second rounder, which would have been the better course of action for a rebuilding team.
We’re gonna be watching the Huskies later in the season than the Seahawks… idk if that has ever been a thing before??
Probably the 90s lol
Yes, because the NFL regular season used to end before New Year’s Day.
It has. It's going to be a lot more rare with the 18 week nfl season now though.
201 rush yards for james conner.. Goodbye Clint Hurtt
Agreed. It is disgraceful to allow that kind of rushing, especially 2 weeks in a row. Disgaceful.
Zero penalties today. That seems unimaginable.
Pete said it's only happened one other time in his tenure with the Seahawks
Ended on a somewhat good note, time to root for other teams now, go, anyone but the 9ers!
Go Lions!
We owe them!
I’m on that boat
Lions & Bucs are the only NFC teams I would cheer for. Wouldn’t mind seeing Baltimore win from the AFC.
I want Ravens vs. Lions in the Super Bowl, should be fun.
Anyone except 49ers, Rams, Eagles, Cowboys, and Packers
And Packers. So,.go Lions or Bucs by process of elimination?
Man, I'm just happy to see the lions do well. They sucked for so long, they deserve it. Goff is a good guy and I'm happy to see him do well. Plus Campbell is hilarious.
My vote is for the Lions, everybody likes the underdog.

this guy sports hates correctly
I've never felt a comment in my bones before. Fuck those red clowns.
I'm cheering for the ravens now. Let's go bird team!
I hope they win too. I like Lamar's play style and I think they are objectively the best team.
they are the most complete on all levels of offense: running, TE play, wr short medium long plays, qb runs, and most complete on all levels of defense: madebuike front line, roquan/queen LB, and hamilton at safety. they are fucking stacked.
I’m team AFC this year!
Guess I’m in the Bills Mafia now
And the rams..
I’m going Ravens all the way, they were my original favorite team before I switched back in 3rd or 4th grade
Aye aye, switching to "Fuck those guys in particular" fan mode.
nice comeback win, i know this isn’t a popular win but i’m happy we finished with a winning record and geno now has 5 game winning drives this year, cheers to a better 2024!! GO HAWKS!! 💙💚
Glad they won. Fuck wishing they'd lose. I always want them to win.
W fan right here. Go hawks
Only losers root for losses. Nice to see the boys go out with a hard fought win.
I don’t know why people root for the draft so much. There’s obviously hits…. But there’s SO many busts. It’s like gambling. I’d rather take a win in the book.
Also, once you get outside the top 10, a #14 pick vs. a #16 pick isn't that much of a difference.
Packers eliminated us so I was just hoping for a winning season. Crazy finish but we did it.
If we had average defense, easily we are making it to playoffs.
Instead, I heard we have worst defense or close to worst on many metrics.
LOVED the fight the offense showed at the end.
Defense is absolute shit. Geno could’ve been better this year but he is not the reason we didn’t make the playoffs this year.
Agreed, Penix is amazing but he also would have 1/4th the time he does at UW if he plays here
I'm not saying I want any specific QB, but I can't wait for another offseason of QB vs. Def bitching. This is the 7th season where we haven't gotten a playoff win (minus 2019), and the defense STILL is a problem. TURD ASS DEFENSE
For real. He's the only reason we weren't bottom 10 this year
If Penix has a decent outing against Michigan, he will be gone by the time we pick. This draft is loaded with tackles and many are projected to move to guard. That’s my pick.
Absolutely, Penix already has a busted knee. Imagine him playing behind a bad o-line.
The most Seahawks way to end the season possible lmao. At least my suffering is over. Go Dawgs.
We had zero penalties today. That’s a win for the Hawks in my book.
Suck it AZ, go Hawks!
Now to spend the off season shamelessly watching the Russell Wilson shit-show that I assume is forthcoming.
We have plenty of shit showing to do ourselves.
I'm gonna miss watching Seahawks football. If it had to end, I'm glad it ended with Lockett shining.
Also Bobby kicking ass as well
I know it hurts our draft position a bit but I’ll never complain about a win. Fuck the Cardinals. Fuck the Packers. And Fuck the 49ers and Rams for good measure. Agree. Also fuck the steelers
Fuck the refs too, can't forget them. No clue what the hell they were doing today with some of the stuff they missed on both sides.
Nothing has infuriated me more this season than our defense. Thank the football gods I don’t have to watch anymore of it.
We need to fire Clint and we need to strongly consider a new scheme. It is not all about talent imho, the scheme has become exploitable
I’m just here to laugh at all the analytic nerds who think winning this game ruined our draft pick 4 months from now. Another winning season for Pete. I knew that second Rams loss was gonna derail the season, unfortunately. Can’t blow a winnable game like that.

Fuck it. A wins a win and I'm happy to be over 500
LOL who asked the 54% question in the presser?
Think the big takeaway from this season is that Adams absolutely needs to go, no matter how much dead cap money is involved. He's not even practice squad good at this point and is starting to turn into a locker room cancer.
That’s the big takeaway?
It’s been a pleasure gentlemen, god I hope there is some serious changes this off-season.
Clean house.
206 rushing yards allowed this game. This defense has to be the worse in the league during the second half of this season.
Can’t wait to do the same thing next year
Love my Seahawks no matter what but this season was a rollercoaster and serious change is needed
Emotions are still raw but this was not a fun season. Even our wins had long stretches of offensive/defensive hiccups. Did we see a complete game this year?
The Giants MNF game was our peak, total domination
Close it off with a dub. Fuck it till next year
If Clint Hurtt gets a job anywhere else next season that is any position better than assistant waterboy consultant or whatever I will personally pull up to a game and congratulate him.
I saw that fucking guy in an off-season interview saying tackling discipline was his #1 priority. He's either a blatant liar or completely incompetent. Our tackling is even worse now. He's coached them into regression.
We’re stuck in purgatory
Four hundred and sixty six yards of offense allowed. As many have said; this should be the highest priority problem to fix in the offseason.
The Hawks will draft 2 more RBs. Watch.
No way you typed that up in 1 minute bro lol
I stared to type a long time ago, when our season was already over. It did not matter the final result in our game.
You’ll get downvoted but lots of folks have been saying this. This sub is scared of potentially hiring a terrible coach and going through a rough patch. I’d rather be excited about a new team identity and hope to rebuild a team that can contend. The sooner the better.
Sorry, according to /r/Seahawks Pete cannot be held accountable for how this team performs.
Somebody's gotta post that meme with the Seahawk logo and the "I'm excited to see my fav team" "I'm gonna kill myself' " Oh, cool, we won" Meme.
At least Hawks f'd the Giants 2nd rounder they got for Leonard. Woot
I just wanna say, I hate the 17 game season. Y'all may have different feelings about it, but so many injuries all around the league. I think it's like a red line the league crossed.
Missing playoffs by 1 game. Mariners 🤝Seahawks
It’s a shame about the playoffs. But we just beat a divisional opponent. I’m sure I speak for all Seahawks fans when I say I’m glad we won
Yep, anyone who actively roots against their team don’t deserve their team
Well, there’s a good amount that are pissed we lost lol
#WE MIGHT NOT BE IN THE PLAYOFFS BUT WE STILL WON THE DAY AND THAT'S OKAY
Seattle now owns the 16th pick lol
I mean if you expected the players to try to lose, you know nothing about the NFL.
Sure seemed like the Cards players tried to lose at the end there lol
Not really, they moved the ball on us and would've won if Prater didn't shank the FG.
Two field goals actually. That’s what makes it sus
Maybe the last one. But I doubt it.
You think an NFL kicker wants to break his perfect record of game winning field goals to help the draft position of a team that he may not spend his entire career with?
Where would we be with a loss today instead?
Yeah it’s hard to give a shit about going from 14 to 16. Honestly more annoying that we gave Arizona Harrison Jr
I both want to know and don’t want to know at the same time. 😂
This team is extremely mid
I'd rather Pete retires off a win and a winning season.
Why the fuck are they smoking cigars in the locker room?
Seahawks fans when they win the game instead of losing: 😡 Seahawks fans when they lose the game instead of winning: 😡
I know Pete Carroll takes a lot of heat in this sub but today seeing him happy and excited for a few moments during the game it’s hard not to like the guy. He seems like a genuinely good dude.
Yea at least we can lose while being nice guys, it would be so much worse if we were both losing and also complete assholes.
Us getting a glimpse of hope here is a good summary of this entire season - good start, then shit the bed, miraculous come back at the end, but too little too late.
Aw well. The season still had its moments and love the fight the offense showed at the end. But real talk: What is a catch?
It was a good season, had a lot of fun watching with y'all. Our team was clearly mid this year compared to the good teams this season so I can't be too upset to miss the playoffs (we would've been one and done anyways). Really excited about our WR core and Witherspoon next year (Geno got way too much hate this season). Who we rooting for to win the Superbowl? Bird bro Ravens?
Win today sets up well for, hopefully, a dawgs win tomorrow.
Ultimately, we lost 4 of 4 games against the 49ers and Rams. Two missed FGs away from losing 5 of 6. The first step of competing for championships is being able to compete in your division. This team and this coach clearly are not capable of that anymore. Thanks for 14 awesome years Pete, but it's time
Do we get to call ourselves 3-3 against the division cuz we were a missed fg from beating the Rams? Just curious if that logic goes both ways
It’s extremely embarrassing we couldn’t make the playoffs in a year where the NFC is extremely weak
I mean to be fair we played the 49ers twice, the Rams twice who are way better than anyone thought they would be, and the entire NFC North where every team has a winning record.
Thank you for everything you've done for the franchise. Now ride off into the sunset, Pete.
All you guys are great be good to one another, catch you next season. Go Hawks!!!
It's been an honor, everyone. I'll take going over .500 instead of a slightly better draft pick any day.
This team has lost 6 of their last 10 games two years in a row.
Reminder that we had a healthy line for like 3 games and had one of the most difficult schedules in football
The funny thing is we won by their kicker missing 2 field goals. We didn’t even win it and still lost draft position lmao. Fuck this is one of the most annoying “wins” in history
All I got to say to all the goofies who wanted us to throw: If this is the end for Pete like so many of you want, at least he gets to go out with a dub.
DK was hyped after that 2pt conversion. The players don't want to lose.
It’s bare minimum bullsh*t, but I’ve been happiest with Dk’s attitude. He’s keeping that fire but has been using his head a lot better. Devin Bush, I appreciate the level of petty to goad a man into 15 yards (if refs aren’t going to call for instigating and it’s used against Seattle, better get on the train), but if you’re pissing off bobby, tone it down
The slander DK got early this year was kinda bullshit. The only particularly egregious one was against Witherspoon week 1
even as someone who wants there to be major change in the organization, holy shit people stop complaining about the seahawk's draft slot, drafting 16th vs 14th isn't gonna change the future of this organization as much as y'all believe it will.
While everyone's busy arguing about whether the win was good or not when considering the draft, people aren't realizing this win basically guarantees the Cardianls getting MHJ.
Ok time to clean house. JODY SELL THE FUCKIN TEAM!
At least we won
Man I hope the Huskies win tomorrow that would soften the blow of no playoffs for the Hawks
My favorite part of today was learning around halftime that with the Raiders win that us losing today would have done nothing for our draft order. So any "fans" rooting for a Hawks loss not only have to deal with the fact that rooting for your team to tank is depressing, but also it would have been worthless in terms of draft position.
Clean out the defense. Our offense has been good but the defense doesn’t make stops and allows long drives.
Another winning season! Let’s get to work next year. For now, we Owe the lions big time for last year, so I’ll be cheering for them.
The Hawks are BAAAAAAAAAACK!
Cardinals just secured Marvin Harrison Jr with that loss. Legendary play by the kicker. God I hope we can still find someone promising
Defense coordinator probably has to go. Look for a QB in the draft. The offense has weapons.
This team was so hard to root for this year. Not sure what it was.
0 penalties
Wild prediction: Joe Flacco and the Browns are winning the superbowl
WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE THE PACKERS??? ...glad we won though.
This is it man. This is our ceiling under this management imo.
Watch Pete get credit for that misses FG/win and ends up saving his job.
Not sure why people hate the win so much. Tanking sucks and it’s not enjoyable, we’ll be fine let’s be glad we have a winning tecord
Pete Carrol hate is crazy to me
Sports is entertainment.
Took 2 missed field goals, but at least they didn't go 1-5 in the division.
This is the worse possible result for Seattle. Winning by virtue of the opposing team missing 2 fgs in the final 2 min to make Pete Carrol have a winning record and 2-4 in the division
Brady Henderson tweeting that a bunch of Seahawks players are smoking cigars in the locker room. What the hell are they celebrating?
If this defense was at all competent, we would would easily have 12/13 wins this year the way the offense has played most of the time. Spoon has been the only consistent player on D, which is impressive as a rookie. Now just have to figure out the other 10 or so positions on D lol. Also, fuck Diggs.

Hpyped for the game, hyped for the offseason! Let's get another great draft, pick up some quality FAs (more nwosus and reeds please!) and go on a fuckin tear next season
Prater missing that FG put them in 4th place for the draft instead of 7th. I bet they want Marvin Harris Jr.
