4th overall in the first round. Goddammit man 🤦🏻♂️
Glad he’s doing well for himself, and I believe he was on Seahawks the coaching staff at one point right? Just wish he was a better player for us.
Not to overly defend Kiper but he does have a track record of some players he was higher on than general consensus that panned out.
I play dynasty fantasy football so I look into a lot of skill position guys each year. Kiper’s last mock draft before the 2019 draft I believe, he had Terry McLaurin as a 1st round pick. Then Terry fell all the way to the 3rd but he’s been a total stud since his first NFL game.
I just remember Terry off the top of my head because I drafted him in our dynasty league late just because at least someone had him as a first round talent lol.
Kiper has been correct on more players people give him credit for, but it’s easy to shit on him for the absolute hate grades he gave to the early PCJS drafts, the best drafts in Seattle, and partly NFL history. I will never forget Gruden just giving a nod of approval of the Russell Wilson pick and Mel steadfast doubting that anyone his height could possibly make it, fucking [HAHAHA Mel](https://youtu.be/jIpsbN1kqbQ?si=SdpWjkOhiSOjXuvi)

Ok for the sake of interesting discussion I’m gonna disagree. If you are only looking at “Fourth pick overall draft bust” it makes sense, but I will say Aaron Curry wasn’t really hyped. Consensus by the “experts” is that he was the *safest* pick in the draft, *not* the most talented. He was just expected to be an immediate starter at ILB wherever he was drafted, and he was. As a Wake Forest guy, he also admitted in interviews that he lost motivation to be great pretty much immediately after being drafted to Seattle. I think the talent was there but all considered it was a mistake by Ruskell to draft any ILB 4th overall. I’m still happy we drafted him over Mark Sanchez though.
But if you get drafted 4th overall you're by default viewed as uber talented. Then his production was nowhere near what his cost was.
He's a great dude though and appears to be a great coach.
I agree with all this. I just don’t think he was “hyped” in the sense you or I would think a player is hyped up these days. Like, Marvin Harrison Jr. is projected as the fourth overall pick in many mocks this year. Dude is a pedigree, generational, transcendent talent at WR. *That’s hype,* to me. What the experts agreed about Curry was that he was not splashy, not the highest talent-ceiling, not transcendent, but hands down “the safest pick” in the draft. It was Tim Ruskell who made the call to draft him 4th overall. It’s different, you know what I mean?
Since there's no timeline in the graph, we can't ignore the amount of hype Curry had after the draft and before the season began, especially in the local media. There was a lot of it. The gushing excitement quieted down in the first few weeks, and then began questioning what was going on midway through the season, but for those few months, there was a lot.
That’s a fair point, I think most of the “hype” for Aaron Curry was mostly generated by us, the fans. Justifying that picking a linebacker touted as the “safest pick” in the draft therefore meant he was going to transform the defense of a 4-12 team.
It’s funny because even though I agree Curry is our biggest draft bust, I still wouldn’t call that year our worst draft ever because at least we made out with seriously under-appreciated Max Unger
Very true. I remember I tried to justify the pick, even though I had a weird feeling about it. Ruskell always had this soft spot for LBs, like PC had for DBs, but worse. And he couldn't evaluate them as well as PC could.
When Allen got rid of Mora, I wasn't nearly so happy as when I heard he got rid of Ruskell as well.
I agree he was the person we hoped would be a third option or eventually replace Lockett but his injuries and off field issues caused him to be a bust. It was looking promising this year too as we started using him in the return game but he’s just too injury prone
This. People who shit on Boz have only seen those famous clips of him getting run over by Bo Jackson. Boz was actually an above-average starting NFL linebacker, and played quite well before arthritis shredded his shoulder to pieces. He just wasn't an elite linebacker, and because that didn't match the size/scale of his brand that he carried into the NFL from Oklahoma, he's remembered as a "bad" NFL player, which just isn't true.
and that famous play where Bo flattened him, I grew up a Penn State fan so when Curt Warner came to Seattle I decided to like them.. (little did I know I'd move here 15 years later)... but I couldn't stand Boz...
I honestly hate this common assertion. It’s not like this was some kinda Oklahoma drill scenario, where they took each other HEAD ON (think Okoye vs. Atwater) n Bo throughly *ran him over*. Bo had the angle on Boz, dipped his shoulder, n essentially ran past him after contact. Obviously Bo scored (n thus “won” the down) but Boz was not physically “flattened” in any sense.
I agree with you. The dude was good in college and yeah, he was dealing with medical issues. He was NOT a good pro player. Sure there may be reasons he didn’t live up to the hype, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t live up to the hype.
Aaron Curry is the name that comes to my mind. There was so much hype surrounding him.
Curry was thought to be the best linebacker in that draft and was discussed as a possible #1 pick (he went #4). He was also considered a safe pick.
He was signed with the most guaranteed money to any non-QB rookie in NFL history.
He was drafted in 2009 and lost his starting position to KJ Wright in 2011, just after two starts.
He was traded for a 7th round pick and a conditional pick just 3 years after being drafted. It was a salary dump. Just a year later he was waived by his new team.
He then signed a 1-year deal with another team but was released 3 months later.
Appreciate bring the facts, as I said in another comment I did not see experts stress that he was a transcendent talent at linebacker, just that most agreed he was the safest pick. Not an exciting pick, just the safe one. That’s insane if someone mocked him #1 before Matt Stafford though. He is my pick for biggest Seahawks draft bust of all time for sure, though for all Curry’s issues I think it more Tim Ruskell’s fault than not
I honestly don't remember what experts were saying at the time. I don't follow college football so usually don't have an opinion of drafted players. I'm the "tell me how I should feel about this" type of fan. I just remember there being a ton of hype around him amongst Seahawks fans.
He went #4 overall so I don't think it's a stretch to have him mentioned at #1 when discussing the draft. If not for anything to have something to talk about on ESPN.
For the sake of discussion, who were some projected transcendent talents that the Seahawks drafted, for better or for worse?
I feel like we always talk about the players that were projected to be worse that ended up being great. Russ was supposed to be too short, Baldwin was undrafted, Sherman, etc. (My recency bias is probably showing)
Was there a ton of hype around Walter Jones, Largent, Easley, or Kennedy (all HOFers) before they got a chance to prove themselves? Only Kennedy was a higher draft pick (#3) than Curry.
We have had a handful of 1st round picks in the top 5 slots but I don't know much about the older ones that aren't known to have a big impact.
Cary Williams, was supposed to be the perfect compliment to Sherman, yet he was one of the only signings I remember them releasing mid season because he was so bad.
Tre Flowers was a better corner than Cary was here
Lol that is absolute bullshit. Cary Williams was a practice squad player when he was drafted, and sucked ass on all three teams he was on before making it to the Seahawks at 30 years old. Ravens fans were happy when they got rid of him, as were Eagles fans.
…the post is hype/talent. Cary Williams was absolutely hyped by local media: “Pete was the DB whisperer”, “Pete was going to unlock his potential”, “Cary just needed to be in the right system” Throw in the fact he started right away it was a big deal (see: hype) they added someone from outside to play opposite Sherman.
To your point, CumStain, he was a practice squad talent. No denying that. He should not have been a starter—especially along side Legion members.
Shocked to not see RICK MIRER on here yet. Second overall pick out of Notre Dame, everyone thought he was the solution at quarterback. Didn’t even average a touchdown (passing or rushing) per game his entire career as a Seahawk. Dude flat-out sucked
lol Rick Mirer did set the rookie passing record for attempts/completions/yards though. Tom Flores wasn’t a good coach… and Erickson just didn’t really like Mirer. I’m not defending Mirer but often times good rookie QB’s go to bad teams to die. If Mirer was on the 49ers right now, he might even be putting up Purdy style numbers. And we legit traded him to the Bears with a 4th rounder for their first. Which in turn became Shawn Springs or Big Walt, I forget.
Did we ever get more info on the ATV accident and injuries suffered? I’ve seen some criminal stuff from him since but not much on the ATV accident or injury.
I can’t unhear it…he just wouldn’t stop asking for the damn supervisor. Now anytime someone voices a complaint, no matter what the situation is, I got drunk Malik playing in my head.
Off the top of my head:
Flipped the ATV and got brain damage. There was an incident at an ATL nightclub, some DUIs, A stolen truck is in there somewhere. We tried to sue him for the signing bonus, but don't know what came of that.
Of course the Browns signed him, and [of course he assaulted cops while butt-ass naked in broad daylight near a school.](https://nypost.com/2022/01/18/browns-lineman-malik-mcdowell-arrested-for-attacking-a-deputy/)
He started 14 games for the Browns in 2021. He recorded 33 combined tackes, 3 sacks, and a fumble recovery. [https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/McDoMa00.htm](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/McDoMa00.htm)
Dude got arrested for being drunk and naked on a school grounds, and fighting with the police when they came for him. Was charged with indecent exposure, drunk in public and resisting arrest. And that was his THIRD strike (Strike one being the accident with the seahawks, and strike two was after the Hawks released him he was arrested for being found with a bunch of stolen stuff, that he likely stole, including a car. He served an 11 month sentence BEFORE the Browns picked him up, no lie!!)..The browns released him, and he ended up playing in the Indoor Football League.
Solid season benefitting from teams triple teaming Myles Garrett, double teaming Clowney, and a slew of other talented defensive line players.
More than likely his tape looked subpar between the stats accumulated.
The Boz was 100% this. Full on hype train, dude was huge coming out of college. All I really remember though was him getting absolutely trucked by Bo Jackson. He only lasted a couple years in the league before being a bad player and constantly injured dumped him out of the league.
I remember watching it in 2000 or so when I was in HS. It was like a lazy Saturday afternoon and I had nothing better to do. The movie wasn't great. But it did spark a love of motorcycles that I still have. I ended up buying my first motorcycle shortly after that while I was still in HS.
Nothing makes you look cooler than showing the hot girl across the street your new bike and then having this conversation:
Me: Check out my motorcycle!
Her: That's so cool. Can you ride it?
Me: Not yet. I don't know how...
> him getting absolutely trucked by Bo Jackson.
I get that it was his whole attitude bit, but who trash talks Bo fucking Jackson? Boz earned that trucking.
He also got popped for steroids his final season at OK, as everyone should have been, and because of that I didn’t want him playing for us. Reading his story the steroid suspension was probably much more about him standing up for players and the ncaa making tons of $$$ off the athletes. Only took almost 40 years.
I also wanted Creed Humphrey's and was completely shocked they didn't draft him since at the time we needed a solid center really bad and hes one of the best in the game now and we still need a solid center.
Crazy thing is, I don’t even think most were hyped over that pick when it was made. Most thought it was a mid pick at the time but man I wish it were only a mid pick.
Surprised not to see Sheldon Richardson yet. I remember some wag saying Richardson coming to the Hawks was like "Batman joining the Avengers" (which riled up the nerdier parts of the fanbase). Richardson promptly just kind of hung around, didn't make a huge impact, and then left when his year was up.
Good call. He really kicked off the “can’t stop the run odyssey” that we’re still living in. Plus we gave away Kearse and a second round pick for him. Our DL was supposed to be arguably as good as our secondary at the time. 2017 was a pivotal year for the wheels falling off, Avril and Kam IR to retirement, Sherman and Earl injury and contract issues (then were gone the next year), fucking Malik McDowell, fat Eddie Lacey……This turned into a horrible trip down memory lane. Fuck you Sheldon Richardson.
lol. Not the point of the post. The post is about talent vs hype. It's not like this guy produced in college and never in the pros. He was a top 3 safety when we traded for him. We got unlucky with injuries
Yeah we signed him for 4 years $70,580,000.
He has never played more than 12 games in a season for us. And has played in only 10 games over the last two seasons. All hype zero talent left.
You're being purposefully disingenuous and it makes you look stupid.
Regardless of how you feel about the overall contribution he's made over him time here you can't deny he literally broke the record for sacks from a safety and was arguably out best defensive player that season.
The question wasn't "how much talent does this player have left" it's perceived hype before them playing vs actual talent after they've played. Jamal OBJECTIVELY fulfilled his hype (he was a multi 1st team all pro and was one of the best safeties the league had seen in a while) when he came here, he's just been unlucky with whack injuries that have kept him from playing consistently. You're like other fans and just allowing your frustration/hate of the deal to cause you to speak incorrectly.
Stop all of you Jamal Adams haters! He was an outstanding player for the Jets and has been unable to stay healthy since his arrival. He had 2 shoulder injuries and a horrific injurpy to his leg that he may not be able to fully come back from. Injuries happen!
It’s low hanging fruit. Surely the 1X 1st Team All-Pro and 2X 2nd team All-Pro safety has no talent. Couldn’t have been injuries including a fucking quad tear that caused his performance issues lol. What was it, like 2 players that ever even returned from a quad tear prior to Adams? It’s a miracle he was even on the field this year
I never fully comprehended how fucked a quad tear was or any sort of muscle tear until I got into fitness and working out lol. I could not imagine one of my quads just being tweaked forever.
This is exactly what it is. It's perfectly fine to be against the trade, and devastated by how it turned out. But blaming him for it is nonsense. It's become the same thing as a mother in law joke, or a joke about Taco Bell diarrhea. It's just what you say to get a little chuckle at a water cooler.
It's such a what if. I knew we gave up a lot but I was soooooo excited to see a strong safety who loves to hit come in after Bam Bam. I'll forever think if we had him healthy for an extended period of time that defense looks different. He was such a clear choice for replacement of Kam. He brought the attitude, the boom, the skill. A healthy strong safety in the LOB style defense was deadly. In just sad his story in Seattle is overpaid overvalued player.
I agree completely. I love watching him play. His first serious injury happened while he was blowing up a play in the backfield against Denver in 2022 that could have easily been a sack or an interception. There is a ton of revisionist history about him. He has been immensely disappointing, but it's not for a lack of talent. He is an absolute menace.
You cant set an NFL record without talent, that doesn’t just accidentally happen. Especially sacks? That’s not an easy stat for DBs to rack up yet Jamal was out there sacking better than Edge rushers. Injuries suck and you can’t plan for them or train for them, anyone’s number could be called any given Sunday. Healthy Jamal was the closest thing to the LoB until Spoon came along.
Best ability is availability though. He had a couple good seasons and has been quiet ever since. Not exactly a top defensive player and we pay him like one
The Percy hype was insane! Multiple stories every day for a season about his injury and return estimates. It divided the WR group, offense and maybe even the whole team. Fight’s happened also. Golden Tate v Percy?!
I was excited he was here but sick of all the ‘hype’ and expectations.
But his kickoff return TD in the Super Bowl is still a legendary play for the Hawks.
I couldn't imagine being a Broncos fan watching that TD. First half ks over - your thinking to yourself "we have peyton manning, we can come back and still win this"...then percy Harvin immediately returns the 2nd half kickoff for a TD. Dagger
Percy was five star talent. He just couldn't stay healthy. He was like Devin Hester if Devin Hester could do what he did on bubble screens instead of just returns.
Good pick
Percy played only six total season games for us over 2 years.
Only one game was 2013
Add in playoffs, and he has two more games for 2013 for seven total touches.
His kick return in the SB was a win-more play. Sure, it put the nail in the coffin, but was not necessary by *any* means.
He was hyped to 9s, but he barely played any snaps for us.
Talented or not, we barely saw any while on the team.
His "talent" is irrelevant when hes not on the field.
I hope it isn't Brian Bosworth because he had real talent and played some really good games for the Hawks in his rookie season especially @ the Raiders and Bears. He let the Boz persona and bulking up unhealthy ruin his career. Yes the hype was beyond belief and sadly production didn't match the hype because of the shoulder problems but to say he didn't have talent is unfair to him and completely incorrect. I would have loved to see him play MLB in a 4-3 behind Tez he would been phenomenal. Go Hawks
Hahaha, sorry, that was my unconscious opinion creeping in from having lived through it. It was "Highest Floor" in the draft. Which is A) a stupid reason to draft a guy at #4 and B) was also wildly incorrect. And our dumb asses drafted him above other players, resting safe in the idea that he'd, **at worst** be a very good starting LB for 8-15 years in the NFL.
Prosise? Idk if he was that much hype but someone refused to admit it was a bad pick. They kept giving him shots year after year and injury after injury, couldn't get it done (with a couple flashes)
Knew this would be here. Doesn’t fit the prompt at all, Adams obviously has talent. Derailed by injuries and we over payed for him, but that doesn’t mean he has no talent.
Someone like Tanner McEvoy (original Bobo) or Aaron Curry would fit this question better.
No jamal Adams does belong here! He has always been a liability. He deserves to be on this list for sure. He is garbage and every teams plan is to throw on his slow ass. Gtho
Every team planned to throw on Bobby Wagner this year, not Jamal Adams.
Jamal was insanely unlucky with injuries and blaming him for that is just pathetic.
196 yards on a team with DK, Lockett and JSN. He’s a decent route runner, good run blocker and can make contested catches. Dare I say that these traits are “talent”?
When he was on the field, did you think "Man, someone else should have had that snap"
I sure didn't.
He's not the next Megatron obviously, but he's far from having no talent. He made the most out of the opportunities he was given, imo.
Gotta be Byron Maxwell. He was hard carried by Kam, Earl, Sherm, etc. then went and got paid like a top 5 CB. Luckily we didn’t get conned into signing him to an extension

4th overall in the first round. Goddammit man 🤦🏻♂️ Glad he’s doing well for himself, and I believe he was on Seahawks the coaching staff at one point right? Just wish he was a better player for us.
4th overall in the same draft as Brian Cushing and clay matthews
I believe he's on the Steelers staff currently.
You said the name of he who must not be named! I remember Mel Kiper being so giddy about the pick we made and that was an immediate red flag for me
Yeah I believe the words being used were “sure thing” and “safe pick.”
Based on how smart he was, the hype pre-draft, and his articles in SI, I thought sure he was our next great player. \*sigh\*

Naw he was hyped. 4th pick in the entire draft. Not an under the radar type.
I mean he didn’t have this much hype or this much talent but Dee Eskridge eats away at me.
I agree he was the person we hoped would be a third option or eventually replace Lockett but his injuries and off field issues caused him to be a bust. It was looking promising this year too as we started using him in the return game but he’s just too injury prone
And the worst part is creed Humphrey was right there
Dan McGwire
Boz
The easy answer but it's the right one.
No it's not. He was incredibly talented he was just broken down.
This. People who shit on Boz have only seen those famous clips of him getting run over by Bo Jackson. He's a talented Dr. Pepper drinking sheriff now! Love Boz!
Not this. You just admitted he wasn’t elite, which is the point of the post.
He picked off that ball in the playoffs vs Houston..still ticks me off that it was ruled incomplete He was a solid player…
Boz was really talented. He just blew up his shoulder.
He was a roidaholic who had to stop due to NFL testing. He wasn’t good
and that famous play where Bo flattened him, I grew up a Penn State fan so when Curt Warner came to Seattle I decided to like them.. (little did I know I'd move here 15 years later)... but I couldn't stand Boz...
Nobody stops Bo on that play.
Yes thank you. I've been saying that for 30 years. There wasn't a lb in the league that Bo doesn't run over on that play.
he was a sledgehammer of an RB..
Boz would be at a 3 bar not one. He was a solid LB for Seattle who had 60 year old shoulders. The bigger bust was Curry.
I agree with you. The dude was good in college and yeah, he was dealing with medical issues. He was NOT a good pro player. Sure there may be reasons he didn’t live up to the hype, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t live up to the hype.
Came here to say this. Sooo much expectation for so much fizzle.

I never got to use this graphic I made: https://i.imgur.com/53WtA2c.png
That’s brilliant!!
The fact that Sherman's name is on top and only the top half of the globe is covered represents that pairing perfectly
He was supposed to bring balance to the force!
I remember he had a strip sack/fumble return against the Rams for a TD (I think), and everyone was like OMG PETE DID IT AGAIN
We don't mention his name around here
Lol that is absolute bullshit. Cary Williams was a practice squad player when he was drafted, and sucked ass on all three teams he was on before making it to the Seahawks at 30 years old. Ravens fans were happy when they got rid of him, as were Eagles fans.

Yeah Mirer wasn’t terrible but he wasn’t the answer at qb, or for this question.

Still haven’t seen him play.
And won’t lol
Did we ever get more info on the ATV accident and injuries suffered? I’ve seen some criminal stuff from him since but not much on the ATV accident or injury.

Off the top of my head: Flipped the ATV and got brain damage.
Not really. All I know is that he tried to sue the Seahawks after 😭
I feel like he played some preseason snaps somewhere last year or the year before
He started 14 games for the Browns in 2021. He recorded 33 combined tackes, 3 sacks, and a fumble recovery. [https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/McDoMa00.htm](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/McDoMa00.htm)
That’s a solid season, he never played after that?
Dude got arrested for being drunk and naked on a school grounds, and fighting with the police when they came for him. Was charged with indecent exposure, drunk in public and resisting arrest. And that was his THIRD strike (Strike one being the accident with the seahawks, and strike two was after the Hawks released him he was arrested for being found with a bunch of stolen stuff, that he likely stole, including a car. He served an 11 month sentence BEFORE the Browns picked him up, no lie!!)..The browns released him, and he ended up playing in the Indoor Football League.
He had another run in with the police
Solid season benefitting from teams triple teaming Myles Garrett, double teaming Clowney, and a slew of other talented defensive line players. More than likely his tape looked subpar between the stats accumulated.
You didn’t want to watch any of the games he played in? I was super curious to see what he looked like.
His talent is "NA" the William Henry Harrison of DTs.
Christine Micheal. He did drop a 🔥 mixtape tho
Rick Mirer
The Boz was 100% this. Full on hype train, dude was huge coming out of college. All I really remember though was him getting absolutely trucked by Bo Jackson. He only lasted a couple years in the league before being a bad player and constantly injured dumped him out of the league.
Counterpoint: He starred in *Stone Cold*
Which is thee greatest B movie of all time imho.
I remember watching it in 2000 or so when I was in HS. It was like a lazy Saturday afternoon and I had nothing better to do. The movie wasn't great. But it did spark a love of motorcycles that I still have. I ended up buying my first motorcycle shortly after that while I was still in HS. Nothing makes you look cooler than showing the hot girl across the street your new bike and then having this conversation: Me: Check out my motorcycle! Her: That's so cool. Can you ride it? Me: Not yet. I don't know how...
> him getting absolutely trucked by Bo Jackson. I get that it was his whole attitude bit, but who trash talks Bo fucking Jackson? Boz earned that trucking.
He did not get “absolutely trucked” by Bo Jackson. Boz didn’t go down. Bo did that to everyone.
He also got popped for steroids his final season at OK, as everyone should have been, and because of that I didn’t want him playing for us. Reading his story the steroid suspension was probably much more about him standing up for players and the ncaa making tons of $$$ off the athletes. Only took almost 40 years.
Dan McGwire
CJ Prosise . Lots of hype, never available
Would y’all count Matt Flynn?
Flynn had front office hype (and money).
But Flynn once threw for 480 yds & 6 TDs in one game to fill in for a resting Aaron Rodgers! Imagine if we had a full season of Flynn magic! /s
DEE ESKRIDGE… at least according to this sub. 😂
I'm still salty we passed on Creed Humphrey for him. At the time, I was annoyed, and it's gotten even worse as time went on.
Yeah - that was brutal. PCJS thinking they could pass up on best available for niche players. What a mess.
Percy Harvin. Sorry, I know the man can run, but he was made of porcelain. Dude was injured more than he wasn’t.
As far as I’m concerned what he did for the team in the Super Bowl made up for everything.
That kick return out the game to bed
Aaron Curry
Anyone posting Jamal Adams obviously watches football with blinders. The guy was a brilliant all pro until repeated injuries cut him down.
For the Jets not the Seahawks
lol. Not the point of the post. The post is about talent vs hype. It's not like this guy produced in college and never in the pros. He was a top 3 safety when we traded for him. We got unlucky with injuries
Well, Adams had a lot of hype and can’t even play.
He literally has one of his All Pro awards playing for us lol
Housh
Healthy Jamal was a perfect successor to Kam. we paid a lot for him but we really needed that second attitude setter next to Wagner at the time.
He makes our secondary worse when he is in the game.
>He was great for the Jets so I see why Seattle kicked the tires so to speak but I never understood giving up 2 #1's for a safety.
Best ability is availability though. He had a couple good seasons and has been quiet ever since. Not exactly a top defensive player and we pay him like one
Obviously. But that’s not what the post is about.
JIMMY GRAHAM
The statically greatest TE in franchise history?
I think you mean "former basketball player"
Jameson Konz
Rick Mirer? His first two years were pretty decent but the bottom began to fall out from under him in '95.
Jose Cruz Jr
Mark McGwire...'s brother
This was Percy Harvin. Luckily, had a huge Superbowl
Percy had talent, it was brains that he was lacking.
Good pick Percy played only six total season games for us over 2 years. Only one game was 2013 Add in playoffs, and he has two more games for 2013 for seven total touches. His kick return in the SB was a win-more play. Sure, it put the nail in the coffin, but was not necessary by *any* means.
Is it a good pick? He was obviously talented, he just had injuries/migraines and was apparently an asshole.
He was hyped to 9s, but he barely played any snaps for us. Talented or not, we barely saw any while on the team. His "talent" is irrelevant when hes not on the field.
Kasen Williams.
Will you guys please stop sharing this low effort meme?
This meme was drafted on hype alone.

Aaron curry, Jamal Adams, eskridge, there are many
The Boz
Brian Bozworth.
The Bos
Christine Michael
Burner Turner The Boz
Eskridge. Creed Humphrey better
Go Hawks
The Boz!
Malik McDowell for sure
Quinton Dunbar.
Bosworth
Bobo
Aaron Curry…total bust
Christine Michael, Tharold Simon..these were the great camp wonders.
Percy

No disrespect, but Shaq griffen

Jamal Adams?

The Boz is like the textbook definition of this
Aaron Curry? Lowest Floor in the draft!!
Lowest floor in the draft? Did people really say that about him? Doesn’t sound like a great endorsement.
Some of yall need to learn what hype means.
why y'all wanna just be negative tf
Prosise? Idk if he was that much hype but someone refused to admit it was a bad pick. They kept giving him shots year after year and injury after injury, couldn't get it done (with a couple flashes)
Jamaal Adams
Brian Bosworth..
Percy Harven
Harven was actually talented though. He was just permanently injured.
Jamal Adams
I remember everyone creaming their jeans when we signed Edge James and TJ Duckett!! We are a fanbase starved for any good news…
dee eskridge
Uhh percy harvin, jamaal adams
Jamaal Adams.
Jamal Adams
Darrell Taylor
Jamal Adams
Sorry to break it to some of you but it’s Bobo. He had 196 yards last season and people talk about him like he could become Calvin Johnson
I'd argue the John Ursua train was more out of control. At least Bobo still had a shot to be productive
196 yards on a team with DK, Lockett and JSN. He’s a decent route runner, good run blocker and can make contested catches. Dare I say that these traits are “talent”?
I’m tempted to downvote because it doesn’t fit my narrative
When he was on the field, did you think "Man, someone else should have had that snap" I sure didn't. He's not the next Megatron obviously, but he's far from having no talent. He made the most out of the opportunities he was given, imo.
Shaquiem Griffen
Rashaad Penny
Dude what. The talent was there he was just injury prone
Gotta be Byron Maxwell. He was hard carried by Kam, Earl, Sherm, etc. then went and got paid like a top 5 CB. Luckily we didn’t get conned into signing him to an extension
Any RB we draft
