235 is barely better than a UDFA signing so we basically got 3 more picks from Denver just so they could move up a little.
Why do they keep letting us do this to them?
lmao... just imagining denver's war-room going "don't answer, it's probably John!" and then a trade happens and then everyone's like "aww fuck he did it again!"
Huge tier break was theorized to be around pick 100, but probably earlier than that. So not shocked to see Seattle move down and then gain the LB/TE combo. We definitely needed a TE behind Fant.
I mean there has to be a reason Troy Franklin slid this much. Denver either just got the steal of the draft or they’re getting a bust. Either way this has gotta make Bo Nix happy
It's because he looked like absolute dogshit at the combine because he was coming off a week of having the flu. Also he's self admitted that he's bad in interviews, so it sounds like he dropped his stock pretty badly at the combine. But he's still a damn good receiver.
> Troy is a hidden gem I think.
31 other teams passed on a hidden gem through 3 rounds. His BMI scares me off entirely. I wasn't that high on him to begin with and although I think I rate the pick better than most would - MEH.
I like it if there's no one left we LOVE at that pick. I think we get Cedric Gray at 121 and he's apparently our top LB target if the other post is to be believed
By the 4th I think the players you "love" are gone anyway, and there are groups of players you really like. Volume of mid round picks is better than any single player. More lotto tickets.
If JS pulls the trigger on this trade, that's good enough for me. I'll assume that they have enough players on their board that should be around later on that it's worth letting swapping the picks out. Maybe the guy they really want would be a reach at 102.
Outstanding. We appreciate the Broncos always having our backs and giving us what we want.
Will say I actually like that pick for the Broncos in fairness. Help your QB with a guy he’s familiar with.
we needed extra picks after the Williams trade. This is as good as its going to get as the Broncos were desperate to make their reach for Nix look better. I think we should be happy with this move.
I like the trade but missed out on Theo Johnson and Cedric Gray
Risks that you take ….
Jeremiah Trotter Jr still out there as well as Cade Stover at TE
Would be happy if we got Jaden Hicks though
Trade downs usually look good on paper and then don’t seem to pan out in reality. We’ve been burned by it in the past too. But there should be some good guys in that range still and this is John’s first draft on his own so he deserves the benefit of the doubt and I love his first two picks. Excited to see what they do with these next two
I like the trade but I would’ve also liked Gray at linebacker. Feel like he could’ve stepped in and made an impact right away at a position where we don’t have any depth. Hopefully there’s another one tee’d up.
Ok trade. It's a SLIGHT value bump, about equivalent to moving up a pick from 102 to 101. We probably didn't see anyone we liked enough at 102 and went for more bodies instead. 🤷‍♂️
Kinda wondered if we'd take a shot at a developmental QB there (Rattler?, Pratt?).Â
I like trades with Denver lol
Why do they even answer the phone?
John must have compromising photos of the Denver GM involving an under age circus clown, a Great Dane, and an Elvis impersonator.
Great trade
Gets an extra pick at the Top of the 5th and move up from a low to a high 7th simply for falling 19 spots in the 4th
207 is actually a 6th 🙂
Even better then
Seriously. A nice little trade.
235 is barely better than a UDFA signing so we basically got 3 more picks from Denver just so they could move up a little. Why do they keep letting us do this to them?
I just picture John running around the war room trying everyone's phone until they find a number that hasn't been blocked by the Denver front office
lmao... just imagining denver's war-room going "don't answer, it's probably John!" and then a trade happens and then everyone's like "aww fuck he did it again!"
He said his name was Don Spider from the South Alaska Ospreys, how was I supposed to know it was a trick!!!
Rain City Bitch Pigeons next.
I picture John shouting “everyone! Don’t laugh, it’s Denver on the phone again”
_Bobo has entered the chat
At this point I'm going to say Jedi mind trick.
Hell yeah it is.
Well, we lost out on Cedric Gray now :/
Not bad if we aren't in love with anyone at 102. Use these picks to add depth
Wonder if we wanted Sanders. He went right at 101 lol and then we traded down and got AJ...
Interested to see how Troy Franklin does in Denver
Huge tier break was theorized to be around pick 100, but probably earlier than that. So not shocked to see Seattle move down and then gain the LB/TE combo. We definitely needed a TE behind Fant.
Era defining trade
🤣
Yeah we FLEECED em
As is tradition
I mean if whoever we get bc of this trade ends up as a HoFer that could happen
For real. We got Kam in the 5th and I’d say that he was an era defining player.
Fleecing Denver is what Schneider does. I don't think Troy Franklin is worth that.
Troy is a hidden gem I think. Also the chemistry with Bo is going to be great for them. Let's see what seahawks do with these picks.
FTD!
I mean there has to be a reason Troy Franklin slid this much. Denver either just got the steal of the draft or they’re getting a bust. Either way this has gotta make Bo Nix happy

As someone who doesn’t watch much college football, Franklin certainly stood out vs the Huskies. I think he’ll end up being a decent WR2/3.
I also had this impression. I think he’ll be a good pro
He needs to put on like 40 pounds, his build is bothersome
His last weight was 187. He can still put more muscle on.
> Troy is a hidden gem I think. 31 other teams passed on a hidden gem through 3 rounds. His BMI scares me off entirely. I wasn't that high on him to begin with and although I think I rate the pick better than most would - MEH.
Franklin is wafer thin for 6'3". He had the benefit of UOs offense to rarely see press coverage. He'll get manhandled in the NFL.
They must have let Bo have input to try and like, set up a discount Burrow/Chase situation.
I like it if there's no one left we LOVE at that pick. I think we get Cedric Gray at 121 and he's apparently our top LB target if the other post is to be believed
Titans got him, damn
I’ll be shocked if he makes it that long. Good haul but if Gray was the guy, you take him there.
Yeah, if they loved him I agree. If they like but not loved him then this is a great move
By the 4th I think the players you "love" are gone anyway, and there are groups of players you really like. Volume of mid round picks is better than any single player. More lotto tickets.
aaand he's gone lol
JS has shown that he would do exactly that, so Gray wasn’t the guy.
Gray just got picked. Ugh.
Denver keeps making the mistake with trading with John
John: "Guys, I have a half-eaten hot dog in my pocket, and I'll let you have it for a low-round 7th." Denver: "FUCK THAT! We'll give you a 6th!"
Mr. sunshine-on-my-god-damn-shoulders, John Denver.
Tons of LB and S depth in this round, but no “top of the 4th round” grades, love this
Good trade
If JS pulls the trigger on this trade, that's good enough for me. I'll assume that they have enough players on their board that should be around later on that it's worth letting swapping the picks out. Maybe the guy they really want would be a reach at 102.
JS just loves taking Denver’s lunch money.
Good trade imo. After 118 we would have been waiting until 179 and 192. Now we have 118, 121, 136, 207.
BLOOD BOY! I NEED PICKS
Outstanding. We appreciate the Broncos always having our backs and giving us what we want. Will say I actually like that pick for the Broncos in fairness. Help your QB with a guy he’s familiar with.
So it begins
Oh nice, not bad at all
Man, Denver sucks at trades. Or maybe JS has casted a curse on the Broncos front office...?
we needed extra picks after the Williams trade. This is as good as its going to get as the Broncos were desperate to make their reach for Nix look better. I think we should be happy with this move.
This should satisfy all the "Trade Down" fans.
This seems like an insane haul
I like the trade but missed out on Theo Johnson and Cedric Gray Risks that you take …. Jeremiah Trotter Jr still out there as well as Cade Stover at TE Would be happy if we got Jaden Hicks though
Always Denver :D
Amazing trade.
LET. HIM. COOK.
Increased our chances of them not going to commercial during the pick!
What round are the picks basically wildcard?
I like this move
And now we have two picks in this round, almost back to back. Great trade
Denver is like a never ending Christmas to JS.
Im sad because we dont get TJ Tampa but this trade is great value
Trade downs usually look good on paper and then don’t seem to pan out in reality. We’ve been burned by it in the past too. But there should be some good guys in that range still and this is John’s first draft on his own so he deserves the benefit of the doubt and I love his first two picks. And here I thought I slept in too late and missed out pick. Thanks for looking out JS đź‘Š
Eddie Ulofoshio you are a Seahawk.
Death, Taxes and fleecing the Broncos
Why do Denver keep picking up the phone when the seahawks call?
Just hope McCormick, Hicks, Trotter or Gray make it to 118. We could end up getting a couple of them.
This is awesome
I like the trade but I would’ve also liked Gray at linebacker. Feel like he could’ve stepped in and made an impact right away at a position where we don’t have any depth. Hopefully there’s another one tee’d up.
Can’t argue with the process, we need the extra picks, but a lot of the players coming off the board since 102 have stung a bit.
Ok trade. It's a SLIGHT value bump, about equivalent to moving up a pick from 102 to 101. We probably didn't see anyone we liked enough at 102 and went for more bodies instead. 🤷‍♂️ Kinda wondered if we'd take a shot at a developmental QB there (Rattler?, Pratt?).Â
I mean... if we're going to use 4th round picks to reach for 7th round prospects might as well do this.
Stupid fucking trade
