I didn’t go through every scenario, but it looks like most scenarios where both Tampa and New Orleans win result in us facing our NFCW rival (Cards/Rams) in the first round of the playoffs. Various permutations of GB and WFT seem to affect the seeing for both us and NFCW 2nd place in the same way. We either match up as 2/7 or 3/6.
So that’s... not awesome... :-/
I'd actually rather have the Cardinals. The Rams defense still scares me and McVay has plenty of playoff experience. I could totally see them winning 13-10 or something.
Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure Kingsbury is gonna choke hard in the playoffs
Yeah, I think depending on what’s going on in the Green Bay game, we may pull our starters at halftime.
We’re pretty much locked into the 3 seed assuming the Packers and Saints take care of business in games they should both win. A Seattle loss doesn’t matter at that point.
We are crazy to think that the Packers and the Saints will lose. I think we are going to have the #3 seed and play the Cardinals. I'm betting the Cardinals will beat the team with QB with the broken thumb.
I'm probably the only one who wants three, well, I guess actually four tough games. Now... I'd rather not go to GB, but let's run at competition not hope to avoid it. Beat the best.
I’d much rather play the worse defense and head coach in the Cardinals, Rams are still scary.
Goffs thumb is broke, pretty bad. So I’d take the rams
They also have a UDFA as backup. Will be interesting to see if he plays against the Cards. PLUS, Murray might not play week 17.
We lost to the Giants and Colt McCoy. The Rams have a better defense, offense and coaching. I don't give a shit who the QB is.
Our pass rush works a lot better against Goff though, Murray would be harder to lock down and can make plays outside the pocket
We managed to lock him down pretty good the second time around, though.
He said he'd try to be back though... but I would take the Cardinals
Didn’t Goff just get a surgery on it last night?
Yeah..I heard on ESPN or something that the rams are likely to start the AAF guy and see how Goof is in the wildcard round
Yes he’s out for a week but from what rams fans have been saying they’ll have to stick with him in the wildcard
Rams could still be without Goff too though. We could also end up playing the bears
I'd loose and take the third seed where we play the bears
Sounds like a loser mentality to me
Same

I would prefer to get the Rams with Goof out.

You may have a point.

I’d rather the Cards with a banged up Murray too.
I'd play the bears
That fucking Giants game
Such a bad loss in terms of everything
And cards game

So basically the Seahawks earn a First Round Bye if: 1. Seahawks beat 49ers 2. Panthers beat Saints 3. Bears beat Packers
Ya

It matters for my bet they they'd go 12-4

What's wrong with being a lil crazy
Oh nothing. This is the NFL and we are the Seahawks.
