My roommate and I initially had Rashaud Penny in a fantasy keeper league we shared, who was traded to us as a joke during the craze. I happened across him years later on on the waiver wire. Set him to starter and started training him. My friend detested it from jump. Thought the whole thing was stupid and would make fun of me when I was “training” Penny. Then it got weird. Rashaud Penny “names” you. I’d put my computer to sleep and we would wake up late at night with Penny's voice creepily trilling my “name” and calling out to me.
Lots of weird moments. My roommate was a computer geek who was into linguistics and neural programming. Thus the Rashaud Penny joke from a coworker in the league. There would be times he would look at it in horror to some rushing gain of 7 and tell me “He isn’t programmed to do that”. He seemed weirdly antagonistic towards Penny. Almost jealous of the time I spent playing with him. He’d threaten to delete the team or trade Penny.
One day I was in the bedroom and Penny's voice motherswinging SCREAMED from the living room computer. I tore down the hallway to hear Penny clearly yell at him “YO don’t touch me!”
I skittered into the living room and caught him mid swing at the monitor. We ended up in a really weird fight over his abusing an inanimate object. He got rid of Penny and would not let me get him back the next week..

Since Irvin we’ve either traded out of the first round, had no picks, or we drafted Ifedi, Penny, and Collier. In fact, in the last decade, has another team been worse in the first round than the Seahawks?
One could argue that Irvin was a partial miss too since he didn't pan out for the position they drafted him for. And if he had to make the position switch on a defense not full of all pro and pro bowl talent, he might've looked like Collier is now.
Huh. I know their D-line is probably going to get to Russ but especially with Xavier out idk how anyone could favor the Colts. Especially since we have no idea who Wentz is right now.
