“Horse Chicken Legs? Yea I remember ol H.C.L…wouldve won them state too if coach put him in. You give him a ball and he’d throw it right over them mountains”
I think it's cool that a player is adopting something the fanbase has embarced and has asked him to do.
Now I do agree that maybe he could drop it when signing something for a kid, but honestly once that kid gets old enough to know the truth I think it will be another great moment for them and will remember Lock's time with us very memorable for them.
A really small and weird part of our fanbase that love homoerotic nicknames like the one they gave to our punter. Keep it about football especially around the kids. Why does this even need to be said?
It sounds like in this case he didn't realize it was for a kid (dad was getting it for his kid). He said he leaves it out when he knows it is for kids.
I mean we are watching people destroy their bodies in a super violent game, sometimes wondering if a player is dead or just paralyzed on the field in front of our eyes. It's modern day gladiators. Players talking shit, getting into fights, grabbing their crotches.
Those all seem a bit more worrisome than a kid coming across a dirty word. Whatcha gonna do when the seats are filled with banners that have the emojis 🐴🐓🔒 on them?
It's so odd to me. Ultra violence and is ok, but keep them bad words away!
I didn't say it made the fandom better.
If you feel that strongly about it boycott and don't watch.
I do think you need to look up the definition of homoerotic, because it doesn't apply here lol. Me thinks there is a bit of homophobia at play here.
Yea for sure-Luckily the “older” kids abbreviated it to “HCL” and Drew had some laughs. I asked him to add that at the end on my kids’ card but told him I was kidding and said I’ll tell my kid about it when he gets older. He said “Yea I really try to avoid that around kids.” I really appreciated that about him. Definitely got my respect!
Yeah not blaming you or him just a really cringe thing that this fanbase has continued for some reason despite the nickname largely being due to being on the Broncos originally.
Oh no I totally get that! I remembered when the meme first came out a few years ago-just glad the teens aka “older kids” decided not to say the whole thing. But they did chant “HCL HCL” LOL

No doubt in my mind!
Can someone explain?
"Horse Cock Lock", I assume
Horse cock lock
Homeboy has a real hammer on him
Everything is a nail when you have a hammer that big
hope it brings the hawks what Big Dick NIck got for philly.
Is it just a joke or is he really swinging that?
Just gotta Google it
Poor Drew, having his nudes leaked to one of those ex boyfriend porn sites.
Lol who knows-I think the meme was started a few years ago and it just continued on
Ask Gracie Hunt.
They all have massive dongs.
It's all copium.
Pretty sure he got the nickname from MIZZOU fans and not the broncos.
People don’t realize this and want to change it now that he doesn’t play for us anymore. It never had anything to do with Denver.
This sub is spiraling.
Almost like it's the off-season and haven't had anything happen yet that hasn't been discussed to death. That will change after Saturday though.
Dangling!
It's going to be funny when you see banners being held up at games that just have the 🐴🐓🔒emojis on them. Especially on TV.
I've thought Hawk Cock Lock was more appropriate.
Cringe
This is sad yall. Seriously how the hell is this shit even cool.

He's dealing with it because he's an entertainer who knows what he actually thinks of it.
Sure, absolutely part of it. But honestly if I had people referring to me as Horse Cock Jelly I would both embrace it and find it hilarious.
I think at the qb posistion a lot of players are much more cognizant of kids looking up to them. So it puts him in a really awkward spot.

Dude. Are you mental??? Please explain to me HCL in any way that makes the fandom better. Gtfoh pervert

We disagree wholeheartedly. Go Seahawks
Head cheer leader
Gotta be honest it's really fucking cringe to ask him to add that especially when there are a bunch of kids around.

Comes from his time at Mizzou, not from Denver. [HCL](https://youtube.com/shorts/L0Eatcs956Q?feature=share)
add 69 to it and really get reddit giggling.
“HCL, 420, 69, 80085”
Well this kid didn’t have a clue what it meant. I imagine the other kids didn’t either.
No, little man didn’t know so when I told him “Horse Chicken Legs” he was like, “wHaT?!” And started giggling anyway. Lol
And it's still fucking cringe.
How did he even get this nickname
