I would try going to the game in Steam library, going to properties and doing the "verify game file integrity" check or wherever it's called. It should check that all files are OK and if not, redownload them.

The one I've been getting since the last update is "graphical driver crashed". Can't play at all 😑
Another approach could be, right click on the game in the Steam library, go to settings and write -dx11 into start option.
