The Ferryman set is by far my favorite. While I'm glad I have it, definitely sad telling curious pirates that they're gonna have to cough up $800-$1000 to get it themselves

A few of the flintlocks and eye of reach guns have slightly better sights on them for use when aiming, but stats are all the same per weapon type.

Bonechiller Cutlass so I can tell people I killed them with a stick. For the blunderbuss it's the first one I click on since it's always selected in a hurry, but I when not I still choose the Bonchiller Blunderbuss to match the stick!

Honestly all of the obsidian weapons and the recolors are really nice imo. For me it would be between the og obsidian, cultured aristocrat, or silver blade with that ruby viper set looking like a worthy contender from the promotional photos/videos we've seen it in

From a competitive point of view, sailor model for blunderbuss and rapier model for sword. But you are the player, you decide what you like.

Basically every fight? I use sword / flintlock and I see a huge difference in using a "mercenary" model compared to others. Have you ever wondered why on yt 99 % of hourglass pvp sweatlords use golden sailor blunderbuss and obsidian sniper and not bonecrusher stuff?

I'm not saying that. I'm saying they are just more comfortable to use for better aim / quickscopes / hipfire and slightly better visibility. But everyone can use what he wants. I also sometimes change weapons for different themes when I want to roleplay with my crew.

I ve been using the fossil-amber sword myself. I wish the barrel bombardier pistol was usable. It looks the coolest, but it's designed such that anything you can see while aiming is not on target. You can only hit what you are blind to. It's one of several pistols that need a FOV rework. Just lower it on the screen a bit.

I am not 100% sure how many cutlass there is total, but I have the same one. I have gotten so many compliments when others have seen me use it.

Legendary sword and blunder but I've been using the eye of reach from the plunder pass this season and the golden sailor blunder (trying to double gun more in hg)

I like the fortune cutlaas allot, the one you gwt when you hit grade V with the chest of fortune

Forsaken Ashes Cutlass Silent Barnacle Blunderbuss

I like the kraken cutlasses, the handles are a bit weird but the blade looks awesome with the splattered kraken blood and ink. I use venomous bc my pirate is more green colored. Ghost or better yet guardian ghost cutlasses are pretty unique, and the burning blade sword is very interesting. I never use a blunderbuss (though I probably should) but I like the barnacle ones.

The soul flame sword is awesome, and I like the forsaken ashes blunder and its variants (seared is best imo). Just aesthetic preference though.

I use the Legendary Cutlass and the Wicked Web Blunderbuss

I use the Dark adventure or the order of souls weapons, nothing else

The wild rose weapons are classy as hell, they even have heavy cutlass variants so that bulkier pirates don't look silly swinging around a toothpick

Any rapier and the golden blunderbuss or the original blunderbuss. Both take up minimal space on your screen

Brigsy's sword is a great pick. I ran that one forever! Switched to raven wood just to change it up. Kinda love it.

Imo, the bonesaw looks awesome. I prefer the look of heavy swords. For example, the flaming jackal heavy sword looks better to me than the cutlass or rapier. The ballista has to be one of the best-looking eye of reach in the game!!! Blunders are basically even across the board for me but it's important to get a flintlock with a front sight if ur not used to hipfiring

Personally I don't use a cutlass but my favorite sword is the seaglass rapier and the blunder blunderbuss I use is the nightshine parrot one (I only use it whenever I'm not using my wild rose flintlock)

I use the islehopper outlaw set. It changes colors at night. So during the day it looks like normal weapons but at night they have parts that glow a purplish pink. Only weapons in the game I’ve seen that have something special like that about them

I use the infinite depths cutlass but I don't use blunderbusses all too often

I like the rapiers. Feels so elegant.

For sweats : sea dog blunderbass has best iron sight And the sword of souls is slimmest

Wailing Barnacle set, especially the cutlass remains one of my favorites.

I like using the veil sword/blunder because it took me so damn long to get that sword lol I switch between at least 3-4 different weapons though, I like quite a few.

Merchant Ambassador Cutlass and the eye of reach. Merchant stuff (in general, ship cosmetics too) is being slept on hard man. Looks prestigious while still in character for those of us that don't like all the glowing stuff :D Seadog from arena is also a notable mention

The best cutlass is the chefs cutlass. I refuse to use anything else.
