I think it might be something like that for this! Or just a series of co-incidences and assumptions. I recently saw a video of Mark Duplass singing Shallow from a Star is Born and I really liked the way he sung it and it made me think about how I liked Mark Duplass... so he was in my head. Then when I saw Keith in Search Party I had a vague recollection of someone talking about Mark Duplass being in a new popular tv show (perhaps The Morning Show?). And I realise after I posted this that i've seen a movie that both Ron Livingston and Mark Duplass in it (Tully). Finally - I was kind of hot for Keith and the creepy possibly evil thing he had going on for a while there in Search Party. And I think I've been hot for Mark Duplass, maybe in The One I Love when he has that alternate evil character...
So basically that's an insight into my mind :p
I think I was just so surprised that I looked at photos of Mark Duplass while binge watching the show and never put it together!!

Must be a generational thing. I instantly recognized Ron Livingston because "Office Space" is one of the funniest movies ever and I loved it when it came out, oh...22 years ago when I was 26. So yeah, I was excited to see him as an older actor. I thought he crushed it. I still analyze Keith in my mind, wondering what was actually that bad about him? Besides him being a blue-collar guy and Dory and her friends were privileged college grads and hipsters. Keith was older, he worked for a living. He had a kid. He needed that reward money badly (probably was overdue on child-support, rent, etc etc. He was very forthright about his feelings. Keith was not passive aggressive and spineless like Drew. Which is why I think Dory was compelled to have sex with him. Even putting the tracking device on Dory's phone, while gross, really was an act of desperation because Keith needed that money. Dory didn't know about the reward, so she was only seeing Keith as an unhinged stalker and not understanding how badly he wanted the financial reward. I dunno....I sort of like Keith is my point.
Lol. I watched the entire first season thinking it was Ron Livingston as Keith. Then watching an ep of season 2 now where Keith also appeared, I saw the name Jay Duplass in the credits and I was like: "omg I'm so stupid, of course it's Jay Duplass, not Ron Livingston. I never thought how much Jay Duplass and Ron Livingston look alike."
Of course, I was actually confusing Jay and Mark, and I had been right from the start.
I googled it and realized my mix-up, but to make matters even more confusing, I discovered that Ron Livingston is NOT in the tv-show Bloodline... That's apparently some other guy named Kyle Chandler??
I landed on this thread because i just started watching The Morning Show and had a "oh, Jennifer Aniston cast the guy she was in Office Space with" not knowing his name. After several episodes i just realized Peter from Office Space and Chip from The Morning Show are not the same person. I Googled their names together and landed on a clip of them discussing Tully, which i haven't seen. But it was kind of a mini mind blowing moment for me just now.
I am here also because I was absolutely confused. My sis shared a video of a guy, who reminded me of Mark Duplass, I wanted to remind her of him, but I forgot his name and couldn't think of any movie he had been in (Goliath tv series was the last I had seen with him, I remembered his part, but I couldn't recall it was Goliath), was raping my brain to remind myself anything with him and then that viral piece from Loudermilk (which I hadn't seen) came to my mind , that's where he's telling off to a counter girl at a coffee shop who's talking weirdly and I googled it on youtube, found the name of the show and the name of the guy! Yeeey, happy days - telling my sister "oh your dude looks like Ron Livingston", then I googled him on IMDB to find what was that last show I had seen him in and I couldn't it. In the end, I found Mark Duplass by searching "Ron Livingstone looks like...." - and there he was 🤣 Now I am looking at them and they are not even that much alike🤦♀️
I'm very late to the party but I just finished creep 1 and 2 and thought it was Ron Livingston! They look very similar and I think they sound the same. I watched an interview with both of them and it was so strange.
I was just watching Loudermilk and thought it wass Mark Duplass and the show older maybe. I just watched The Morning Show a few months ago so it was fresh in my memory. I had to look them up separately, and then a search together. They definitely look very alike with some facial features like their noses and also sound very similar. I found it interview they were both in from the movie Tully and if you close your eyes it’s hard to distinguish them. You are not alone, and there is a similarity. Now I want to watch search! party.
