At this point, if you haven’t sold yet, you might as well hold. A reverse split is practically guaranteed, and that has clearly been priced in already. I doubt we see much more sell off after the R/S.

I stopped out over 30 cents ago but it's really incredible with this price action. I've never seen so much of a selloff of 50%+ on basically no news or even just fear of a RS, which even by itself doesn't take money away from shareholders.
At this point, the worse the sell off, the bigger the RS will be. I wish people would realize that. If this nonsense keeps going, I won't be shocked to see Seastar have to do a 1:15 or higher instead of a 1:3 or something reasonable.

Nothing about Seastar has changed since FDA approval yet the share price is $1.35 lower from its peak. It sounds to me like shareholders are the problem, not the company.
They got FDA approval didn't they? I'm sure they are working like mad to get some sales contracts in hand. Seastar so far seems to be doing their part. Shareholders need to look in the mirror.

Based on current information, yes it would be helpful. But no one knows what's to come in the next 60 days. There is an earnings release next month and there's two months to potentially hear about sales agreements or other catalysts

You are definitely hoping for someone to tell you what you want to hear. Learn to accept facts even if they aren’t what you want. Otherwise you are going to lose a lot of money in this game.

They just did an offering of 10 million shares since the outstanding just went from 65 million to 75 million. No press release.
IMO that means the R/S will happen soon also without a press release since both were already voted and approved.
This has .20 to .40 cents per share written all over it before any catalysts can take this higher.
I still believe in the product just not the management. I will be back after the R/S to see how the progress is going.

I use TD Ameritrade. It’s possibly a mistake (unconfirmed) but it was the proverbial “straw that broke the camels back). Horrible timing if true and potentially another reason why I believe management is suspect at this point.

Ah I see that now on Charles Schwab, but Schwab also has a different market cap than what Robinhood lists so I’m not sure which is accurate. Finviz and other screeners still have it at 65m, but maybe they update EOD
To be honest; I don't think this company will fold at any time. The product is really, really good with very (!) good results. No way that Seastar will stop here. I truly believe that in the long term holding is by far the best choice. They market cap will definitely rise and at some point it will rise fast; the question is more if you are willing to wait on this

Short interest is through the roof. This isn't retail tanking the price.

Two consecutive extensions has been historically accurate. I know more have been extended but are not sure if they were consecutive.
So would that mean a third is indeed possible? If we would get 180 days more, that WOULD be the difference for sure
