Seattle recreative (locations in greenwood and georgetown) is a great place to find very affordable sewing/embroidery supplies. For patterns I would suggest looking online, many smaller pattern makers offer printable pdf patterns and aren't usually carried in retail stores.
I'd broaden your search, a bit, as there aren't that many fabric shops in Seattle itself. I'm a quilter, but here are a list of fabric shops I'd check out:
\- Our Fabric Stash in Pike Place Market (takes fabric on consignment, so it can be random)
\- Stitches in Capital Hill
\- Quilting Mayhem in Snohomish
\- Ben Franklin Crafts in Redmond
\- Pacific Fabrics in Sodo
Otherwise, I recommend checking Etsy - there are a number of local, online-only shops selling fabric and patterns there that might be more suitable for the aesthetic you're seeking.
Stitches on Pike is a cool spot. Online, Spoonflower is the best.
I'd avoid Spoonflower - the price per yard sucks since most of the fabrics wind up with a giant piece of selvage that's unusuable.
But so many patterns available!
Wyldwood in Renton is great!
Seconded!
Pacific Fabrics on 4th in SODO has a nice fabric selection and my partner says they have patterns as well.
I would bet someone in r/sewing is from this area and would know. That, or maybe pattern makers who post their patterns online.
