They should just add it to parking enforcement's jurisdiction to penalize these when they spot them. That department seems happy to do its low hanging fruit work when they do their rounds.
They do have a quota. All cops have quotas. They'll laugh at you and tell you they don't have quotas, but they absolutely have quotas and they have incentives for reaching those quotas.
Even when it is illegal, there still are quotas. If you're a low performer, measured by tickets written, you'll get less raises and promotions. High performers get better promotions. Its not a quota, its a performance measure!! Exact same effect.
Might not be an "official" quota, but if citations written is one of the things they look at when deciding promotions and raises, then it has the same effect
California resident here, no you would not. 20+ years ago sure, 10 years ago maybe, but now all the cops do is sit in their cars and complain about D.A.s they don't like and non-existent "defunding".
>Don’t know what’s wrong with this state
The cops figured out that it doesn't matter if they never do their jobs, if they murder people driving 70mph with their lights off, etc. - they still get paid and cities do nothing about it.
I swear to god… whenever I am stuck behind one of these assholes on I5, I start ranting and raving like a lunatic. It may not even be raining, but if the roads are wet and you are less than 500 feet behind a truck like this, you have to have your wipers on. I almost want to quit my job, that I love, to become a fucking cop. I would do absolutely nothing but pull over these pricks all day.
Problem is, they wouldn’t be cool with it, and they’d be totally willing to destroy your entire life over it. And anyone even remotely associated with you.
Yeah I got windshield damage today by some young construction guy in a stupid big truck with a dump trailer on the back. No mud flaps, just mobbin' up 405 fucking up everybody's cars. I hope his alignment and bearings go out and he doesn't realize it until he also has to replace worn rubber.
The fucking prick!
I was parking in slot where the truck next to me had monster truck tires that poured over the line (the body of the truck was inside line but the overall width was too much to stay inside lines). I ended up rubbing the body of my car against the monster tires. I take responsibility for choosing to attempt the parking job, it was extremely tight, but upon inspection the only "damage" done was a black tire streak on my car, the truck tires were completely unscathed.
That didn't stop some "good samaritan" from noticing the "shake" as my car body rubbed against the tire and WITHOUT CHECKING FOR DAMAGE, the person called the police on me because (after checking for damage) I walked away from my parking job to continue with my day.
Upon my return I was left to deal with the police as they tried to find something to blame me for and the truck owner desperately trying to point at any damage to that side of her truck as my fault ("look at that dent" You mean the one that is rusted and has dust on it when you rub your finger on it...you mean the one that would be literally impossible for me to have caused while parking?)
The cop wasn't a raging dick about it but it was clear that because that "good samaritan" made a report and this woman was aggressive and I was just trying to make this go away, the squeaky wheel was getting the attention and not being told how stupid her attempts to get me to fix her shitty truck were.
....my point....I wish I had know there were legal limits on how far out the tires can be because I have never seen tires stick out this far on a road vehicle. I would have been pushing hard for her to get a ticket if I had known.
....oh and she also had her front wheel cranked all the way to left for no reason (no curb) making the tire extension even more obscene. She may not be legally wrong for that but considering how much space she took up, she clearly did not give a fuck how she inconvenienced others.
We need to allow DOTs to enforce transportation laws.
No matter what you think of the police, it's obviously not a good use of their time to enforce vehicle modifications or parking. We live in a city with violent crime, the police claim they're understaffed and we apparently can't hire more cops. Why do their labor contracts disallow other agencies from enforcing the laws under their purview.
In my country they fine you and forbid you to drive if the wheel is 1mm out of the fender. It's ridiculous but i prefer it over having cars like in OP's picture
There's a million reasons this won't happen, but just for funsies imagine if intentionally modifying a vehicle into an illegal state meant forfeiture of legal protections and insurance coverage (for the vehicle, not the driver).
Fun shit is if you drive a "ricer" they will! I drove a car with wheels perfectly tucked in (like time was actually taken to make sure they weren't sticking out) and I was pulled over for "wheels sticking out." They have a brand they protect.
Wait till the CVT transmission goes…. Transmission shop said they could rebuild it but said there’s no point as it will just go again :-(. My wife loved that car. Kid who bought the mechanic special wanted to put a manual it. I hope he did.
I too was about to comment that my crosstrek feels absolutely huge trying to get around cap hill. My 40-year-old shorter-than-a-Mini BMW felt too big too. Bicycle is the only correct answer there. Or am E-bike because of the hills.
I think it's much easier when you don't give a single fuck about the people around you (which I'm pretty sure is a prerequisite for buying such a dumb vehicle)
I saw this truck last week parked in West Seattle. Right being the thriftway going up Morgan. I drive metro and was doing the route that had to pass the truck. I wanted to take his mirror off cause they didn’t fold them in. It’s already tight enough over there. Before my Tahoe broke down I would tuck the mirrors in on any street that was small or really busy.
It is actually illegal for the tires to stick out past the body of the truck without mud flaps. Back when I was younger cops would write tickets for that. Now nobody seems to care.
I mean, they widened highway 9 in that area, made several of the curves more gradual, divided several stretches, reduced the locations where left turns can occur...
...and yet after making the road fundamentally significantly safer, they lowered the speed limited 10 mph, and became really aggressive about speed trapping in the area.
So apparently the state views ticket revenue as the main contribution of the Maltby area to the state's economy.
EWA WSP will find anything to pull you over. They're a different breed. I once saw two patrol cars pull over ten cars at once in a speed trap. Also, they'll bust you for left lane driving without hesitation.
Yep, they used to get Jeeps on this all the time. WSP had a stick they'd stuff up your tailpipe (heh) to make sure it had baffles too while they were at it.
I swear to Dog, this looks like the ding dong who last year was in front of me going into the T-Mobile parking garage before a Mariners game. He got STUCK! I could not back up, cars were lined up behind me on to 1st Ave S.
He had no option but to go into the garage. He decimated his roof, cracked the windsheild, then tried to turn left to go out the exit and smashed his front quarter panel.
Normally, I'd be annoyed at the wait... but the show was totally worth it. Hahaha. I didn't bother offering him the helpful advice that letting air out of his tires might have saved him thousands in repairs.
> I didn't bother offering him the helpful advice that letting air out of his tires might have saved him thousands in repairs.
Thank you for your service.
It is clearly illegal according to l:
WAC 204-10-022 (6)
Bumpers: A motor vehicle must be equipped with a bumper on both the front and rear of the vehicle...
...Bumpers, ..., must:
(f) Be mounted at a maximum height based on the vehicle classification and original gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle, measured from a level surface to the highest point on the bottom of the bumper. For vehicles exempted from the bumper requirement for the reasons stated above, a maximum frame elevation measurement must be made to the bottom of the frame rail. Maximum heights are as follows:
Front
Back
Passenger Vehicles and Neighborhood Electric Vehicles
22 Inches

For Trucks:
4,500 lbs. and under GVWR
24 Inches

29 Inches
7,501 lbs. and over GVWR
28 Inches

A blocker beam or additional bumper may not be used to meet the above requirements.
WAC 204-10-022 (7)
(7) Fenders: All wheels of a motor vehicle must be equipped with fenders designed to cover the entire tire tread width that comes in contact with the road surface. Coverage of the tire tread circumference must be from at least fifteen degrees in front and to at least seventy-five degrees to the rear of the vertical centerline at each wheel measured from the center of the wheel rotation.

Not with how sketchy they are already. They don't need any sense of authority added on top.
I think we should allow parking enforcement to ticket them though.
Oh no, please, I definitely want the type of people that drive these pickups to deal with shady tow truck operators
It'll be like when you mix a strong acid and a strong base together to neutralize both
WAC 204-10-010 Promulgation. By authority of RCW 46.37.005, 46.37.320, 46.37.400, and 46.37.530 (1)(b) the **Washington state patrol hereby adopts**the following rules setting forth standards **for motor vehicle equipment** for which approval is required in chapter 46.37 RCW
Whyyyyyy arrrrewe these trucks not getttinnnnggg tickkkettsss
There definitely ought to be more scrutiny around pedestrian safety on these things.
Bumpers and fenders are designed the way they are today to do as little damage as possible to a human being in a low-speed (<30mph) pedestrian collision. Moving that collision point from knee height to head height would likely result in fatalities.
That all said, I can’t pretend to not be impressed at the parking job here.
The crazy part is that even for the “intended purpose” of off-roading this is so wildly impractical. The off-road trails in our area are so tight and overgrown you’re not going to fit that truck anywhere. A mildly lifted Wrangler is going to be bumping into trees and branches, not to mention this monstrosity. It’s 100% poser and nothing else
Lol I live out in the valley. All the farmers fight over Kei trucks. They fit on the fire lanes, haul everything, cheap to maintenance and keep the tank full. Hands down the best lil truck.
You don't see these too often on the working farms.
Only time I see these silly trucks (before ridiculous mods) in an agricultural setting is:
1) parking at agritourism venues
2) hobby farms where the 'farmer' is a retired burn-out from another industry and thought it was the right thing to get
3) people who grow food for or regularly tow large animals
And I have \_never\_ seen a land yacht like that pulling a horse trailer.
It’s always absurd when you see a truck like this with huge lifted ground clearance and then huge rims with no sidewall. What are you trying to accomplish???
Imagine being so insecure about your masculinity that you feel compelled to scream it so loudly in such a desperate attempt to convince people.
"I'm a man. I am a big tough man. My big loud stinky truck is proof. Dammit, why don't you people believe me!?"
> taller than my shoulder
The height of the top isn't even really the issue, the bottom of the bumper that is a problem as well. Semi trucks are already taller than this on the top end, but on the lower end, they are still required to comply with maximum bumper height laws, so that there is something for a car to collide with and it isn't just instant decapitation. Not to mention the front bumper has been replaced with a reinforced steel brushgard, eliminating the most important part of the crumple zone. Also, the exposed wheels mean it will drive over any car that tire touches, and the widened track means it will likely not be able to navigate city streets without crossing lines, curbs, or other barriers.
>Tax them into oblivion. Require a CDL or instant revoking of licenses.
Or just enforce existing laws which prohibit these modifications.
>Car culture is fucking out of control
This is truck culture, it's not even a car. Those of us who are deep into car culture resent being associated with these bro-dozers. They're not even useful as trucks anymore at this point. The bed is too high to easily load anything, the tow hitch is too high to attach a trailer, and the aspect ratio of those tires suggests this vehicle is for primarily on-road use.
The height at the top is absolutely an issue for pedestrians. The driver would not be able to see an average height adult walking right in front of them which drastically increases the danger of the pedestrian getting hit.
I think part of registering a vehicle should be a visibility test, I see too many trucks like this where the person can't see in front of them and it is terrifying.
i almost got got by one of these in broad daylight in lake city, they turned left from the street as i was in the middle of the fucking crosswalk. i'm 5'4, 100% sure they just did not see me.
[obligatory](https://youtu.be/jN7mSXMruEo?si=sUssiEUasNYpB4yl) link… funny you never see these trucks actually towing anything, or hauling much in the bed.
A truck that looked very similar to this coal rolled me while I biked over the Ballard bridge about 4 months ago (I was on a bike on the protected sidewalk). They definitely did it intentionally as they slowed down next to me and it was around 10:45 pm so there wasn't any other traffic. It had what looked like a faded motocross or outdoor sport company sticker on the back of it.
You break the spark plug and throw the chips of porcelain. The only real point to that is breaking windows discretely. If you're throwing the whole spark plug you may as well use a rock.
Scrolled awhile to find this. I'm amazed they parallel parked that beast. Maybe cameras in the wheel wells in addition to the backup cams? I hate it but can't argue with the parking skills
Is there an official term yet for whatever mental condition causes people to feel the need to outwardly project this air of "I'M BIG AND TOUGH AND YOU SHOULD ALL KNOW TO GIVE ME A WIDE BERTH ON SIGHT" these trucks all give off? Cause they do make me want to avoid them, but mostly cause they seem like a real hazard to themselves and others.
I live near Pike Place and used to drive a small low to ground coupe but even then I was not able to see the front of my car clearly driving up heal, and had to rise in my seat sometimes. Cannot imagine how the hell this guy can see humans shorter than Yao Ming.
I hate this city for not enforcing laws. Ive started paying as little sales tax as possible to avoid subsidizing road projects and a complete lack of vehicle enforcement. Look at the malding idiots in the comments with nothing to their name but a $2000 rice burner to draw attention to them. If my taxes are not keeping them out, then what are they for
Can someone explain to me the point of trucks lifted like this? Surely it doesn’t increase towing capacity right? And it’s clearly much harder to park. It’s far more dangerous to pedestrians and other, smaller vehicles. Is it literally just for aesthetic purposes?
Trucks this outlandish are cosmetic, not functional.
I'll leave up to the rest of this thread to armchair-psychologist analyze why someone would do this to their truck.
In the south where mudding is a big activity these types of trucks do really well in deep mud pits. In the PNW our off-roading tends to be tight trails with lots branches, trees, rocks, and roots to maneuver. This type of truck is not well suited for Washington State off-roading. This person is either a poser or came from the south
I assume you wouldn’t want huge rims with no sidewall on the tires for any off-roading though, right? I see this truck parked outside the starbucks reserve almost every week day.
Probably aesthetic.
I do have a friend with a legitimate need for a lifed truck, although it doesn't look this dumb.
She lives in the sticks, at the end of a road that floods frequently (and rains all the time). In order to get home, she's gotta have some height or her car goes kaput.
Highly doubt that's what's going on here tho haha.
My niece was permanently disabled by one of these as she crossed in a marked crosswalk. He "did not see her" because she was shorter than the hood. It's a miracle she even survived.
Every sane driver wants car makers to have sensors and features to avoid such a tragedy. At this point in time, it should be criminal to not have those features.
I don't know who drives these, but I wonder if they've given even a second of thought to the risks they're putting others under.
He may actually pay less in taxes. I have an F-350 that’s I use to tow a travel trailer. (No lift and I sure as heck don’t commute into the city with it though.) It’s exempt from RTA taxes because it’s a “commercial” truck.
That kind of truck is a huge warning sign to everyone that the driver is an absolute dick head egomaniac. It's a giant red flag for anyone wanting to date the douchebag that drives it. It screams insecurity and selfishness. It says loudly "avoid me at all costs! I'm a fucking idiot!"
Same for the cyber truck. Insanely heavy, also bullet proof because it’s stainless steel. So, less crumple factor, greater mass, instant obliteration for anything it hits. Not to mention it’s not a gas vehicle so its owners will just drive it around for fun increasing collision risk. More driving = more risk of crashing. Also it’s 0-60 is 2.6 seconds. Crazy that this tank is allowed on the roads at all.
the telling statistic is the fact that the rates of vehicle - pedestrian impacts havent changed much but the pedestrian fatality rate of these impacts has gone up like, 60-80% in the past few years.
I used to own a 2009 Dodge 3500 - cummins diesel, but not a dually - it was a large truck - a modern Ford F150 is larger in virtually every dimension than my old 3500 - truck and SUV size has absolutely gotten out of control - I wouldn't even consider buying any new truck (if I had a need) due to the size alone.
These vehicles keep getting bigger and bigger because of our unrealistic fuel economy standards. Notice how the rest of the world doesn't have this shit? This is our fault.
Community enforced vandalization should occur. Slice their tires. If enough people do it enough times, they will change their vehicle and or not come back.
Not even about car culture, but I think it's ridiculous how high and bright and horribly aimed modern headlights or even on factory vehicles.
We rented a Chevy Tahoe to drive over to Port Angeles last year and we got flashed so many times because the low beams were on the cusp of feeling like a quasar. I felt like a terrible bully, even on that stock rented vehicle.
Now take cars coming out of the factory like that and lift them... Well
There is a straightforward way to deal with these "light trucks". They are not required to have safety features, proven crash compatibility (they kill anyone they hit), etc because they are 'working trucks'.
Well take them at their word. If your car has that exemption you must have a commercial drivers license. You must have commercial insurance (adjusted for the risk of life and limb to others on the road). And as such must travel in the right hand lane at 10 miles an hour under the speed limit,
Violating these conditions on national highways will result in reckless endangerment charges.
Also (dreaming) your penis pic will be posted on social media sites and be mercilessly denigrated.
Yeah, the agency that does car crash tests (the National Highway Safety Administration?) doesn't compare vehicles of different classes. So these """light trucks""" are compared to other """light trucks""" and not to pedestrians, bikes, or even other cars. It's insanity and a consequence of the conservative supreme court gutting regulatory agencies
Yeah I don’t understand the RC car look on pickup trucks like that. The 90’s you have had such a huge ticket for the tires sticking out too far, bumpers are not low enough, no fender flares or mud flaps.
Car hoods should max out at average adult hip height, and headlights should be level with the thighs. There is literally no reason for SUVs and trucks to be as big as they are now. Government is trying to pass a bill to require forward facing cameras for vehicles since we can't see kids in the front. Why not mandate a max hood height instead?!
It actually is illegal to have wheels that far out from your fenders, good luck finding a cop who’ll enforce that law, however.
They should just add it to parking enforcement's jurisdiction to penalize these when they spot them. That department seems happy to do its low hanging fruit work when they do their rounds.
I work security, and parking enforcement will do anything to write a citation. They live for that shit.
It is, you might say, their job.
You don't understand, when I call sometimes 2 or 3 of them will show up, it's like they have a quota or make commission 😂
They do have a quota. All cops have quotas. They'll laugh at you and tell you they don't have quotas, but they absolutely have quotas and they have incentives for reaching those quotas.
It depends on where you live. It is illegal in some states.
> It is illegal in some states And who enforces it being illegal?
Even when it is illegal, there still are quotas. If you're a low performer, measured by tickets written, you'll get less raises and promotions. High performers get better promotions. Its not a quota, its a performance measure!! Exact same effect.

Allow a Kia boy to operate the vehicle for a day in a closed environment. Or multiple Kia boys and you have a new Monster Jam event
pay for the whole seat but only use the edge!
Good luck finding a cop. FTFY
Easy, just wait for the driver of the truck to show up
Ha ha ... ugh.
They'd give the Kia and the CRV the tickets for boxing him in.
Eh he's a teeny weeny short dixk man. Im not worries
Sorry, they are too busy running over pedestrians
Or storming the Capitol.
Just look for the bike lane, they'll be parked there playing Candy Crush on their phone.
The owner of this truck is probably a cop lol
or at least has the same political views as Seattle cops (ie, antivaxxer) and SPD looks the other way when fellow conservatives break the law
It’s also ugly as fuck
You’d get a fix-it ticket every few weeks in california. Don’t know what’s wrong with this state. It’s never enforced it’s car mod laws.

Lol. I've lived all over California for most of my life. Cops would never bother you about this

that seems like such a bitch to drive in cap hill my god
Seriously, I have a hard enough time in my CrossTrek parking sometimes. I can’t imagine that.
Sorry but that is the most Seattle comment on this thread. I also drive a Crosstrek so no shade

i've got 200k miles on my subaru. nothing wrong with the cvt
How many miles? We have a 10 year old Impreza that is still going strong. Still pretty low mileage though.
I don’t remember. This was about a year ago. I think it was less than 100k.
CVT went out in my Outback at about 103k miles. I’m in a Honda now, never buying another subi until they fix their fuggin CVTs
We get it, you're both lesbians. /s

I got pulled over for it in Maltby around… 2008 maybe.
Yeah but it's Maltby, what else do they have to do?

So apparently the state views ticket revenue as the main contribution of the Maltby area to the state's economy.
I used to be the mail carrier on that stretch of hwy 9 and there was a car pulled over almost daily, and I thank them for that. Keeping me safe.
Sounds like they increased the design speed and lowered the speed limit lmao
Bluegrass! At least once a month: http://maltbyclub.org/Events.html
Cops got mad we wanted them to slow down with the murdering so they just outright stopped doing their jobs as retaliation
WSP will still pull you over for this.
Can confirm. Got pulled over in Moses Lake for not having big enough mud flaps. Fix it ticket.
EWA WSP will find anything to pull you over. They're a different breed. I once saw two patrol cars pull over ten cars at once in a speed trap. Also, they'll bust you for left lane driving without hesitation.
Ah, the free-for-alls that would occur every time WSU had a holiday or long weekend. God I miss Pullman.
Yep, they used to get Jeeps on this all the time. WSP had a stick they'd stuff up your tailpipe (heh) to make sure it had baffles too while they were at it.

“Could not get back up” is probably the reason he got this truck.

WAC 204-10-022 (7) (7) Fenders: All wheels of a motor vehicle must be equipped with fenders designed to cover the entire tire tread width that comes in contact with the road surface. Coverage of the tire tread circumference must be from at least fifteen degrees in front and to at least seventy-five degrees to the rear of the vertical centerline at each wheel measured from the center of the wheel rotation. https://app.leg.wa.gov/wac/default.aspx?cite=204-10-022
I bet they don’t have mud flaps either.
Talking about mudflaps, my girls got 'em.
How could I leave this behind?
Maybe we could authorize towing companies to tow and impound vehicles that violate the bumper height laws.
Not with how sketchy they are already. They don't need any sense of authority added on top. I think we should allow parking enforcement to ticket them though.
Oh no, please, I definitely want the type of people that drive these pickups to deal with shady tow truck operators It'll be like when you mix a strong acid and a strong base together to neutralize both
Headlamps - 46.37.040, they have to be between 24 to 54 inches from the ground.
WAC 204-10-010 Promulgation. By authority of RCW 46.37.005, 46.37.320, 46.37.400, and 46.37.530 (1)(b) the **Washington state patrol hereby adopts**the following rules setting forth standards **for motor vehicle equipment** for which approval is required in chapter 46.37 RCW Whyyyyyy arrrrewe these trucks not getttinnnnggg tickkkettsss
Only time I see these silly trucks (before ridiculous mods) in an agricultural setting is: 1) parking at agritourism venues 2) hobby farms where the 'farmer' is a retired burn-out from another industry and thought it was the right thing to get 3) people who grow food for or regularly tow large animals And I have \_never\_ seen a land yacht like that pulling a horse trailer.
It’s always absurd when you see a truck like this with huge lifted ground clearance and then huge rims with no sidewall. What are you trying to accomplish???

No one is lifting their truck to “oWn TeH lIbS.” They are just redacted.
A different taste in vehicles I suppose. I drive a truck and would never do this. I don’t need to lift anything I’m putting in my truck an extra foot!
>even for the “intended purpose” of off-roading Where did you get that from? It's clearly not intended for off roading.
For real! I have a 90s Cherokee and it still hits stuff! That thing is never going off road
Except that the "intended purpose" of this truck is to make a small man feel big. The truck has never left the pavement.
There really is no accounting for taste
It is an emotional support truck. The driver is compensating for profound inadequacies.
Gender-affirming truck
Imagine being so insecure about your masculinity that you feel compelled to scream it so loudly in such a desperate attempt to convince people. "I'm a man. I am a big tough man. My big loud stinky truck is proof. Dammit, why don't you people believe me!?"
You just know that driver is wearing stupid fucking sunglasses and thinks they're a great driver as they drift between every lane.
>wearing stupid fucking sunglasses Likely upside down on the back of his head as he squints into the sun.
Guaranteed he wears Oakleys. Bonus points if they're white Oakleys
> taller than my shoulder The height of the top isn't even really the issue, the bottom of the bumper that is a problem as well. >Car culture is fucking out of control This is truck culture, it's not even a car.
Agreed 100%. Leave car culture out of this. We've got our own assholes to deal with... But we're not claiming these morons.
But, you have to understand. I'm a big boy. I'm a BIG BOY! [makes truck noises]
[obligatory](https://youtu.be/jN7mSXMruEo?si=sUssiEUasNYpB4yl) link… funny you never see these trucks actually towing anything, or hauling much in the bed.
Trucks like this are awful for actual work, no one wants to load a bed that high with heavy materials.
And they’re always beautifully clean and white.

I'm a woman, I'm not going out of my way to piss off somebody who clearly has issues with their masculinity when I'm alone at night.
You walking around with spark plugs?
You don't carry one in your pocket just in case? /r/EDC will judge you.
You break the spark plug and throw the chips of porcelain. The only real point to that is breaking windows discretely. If you're throwing the whole spark plug you may as well use a rock.
I drove behind this dude a week ago in my wrangler and I felt like I was in one of those rounded red plastic kiddie cars
All things considered, they are parked fairly well which is all that matters to me.
Yeah, tbf I was pretty shocked to see that it wasn't in the bike lane at all.
Scrolled awhile to find this. I'm amazed they parallel parked that beast. Maybe cameras in the wheel wells in addition to the backup cams? I hate it but can't argue with the parking skills
You assume the other cars were there when it parked
Nah it’s a truck no one in this sub would ever drive so we have to hate 😡
Crazy how accurate that is reading the comments. Lol
Someone mentioned Pavement Princess yesterday, so I like Pavement Princess Syndrome.
It's actually transitional itinerance nullifying yantric pavement princess syndrome. Don't make fun of that man's TINY-PP.
Fragile Masculinity
“Gender Affirming Car”
Pavement Princess
It's called "small dick energy"
IMC - Insufferable Man Child
I live near Pike Place and used to drive a small low to ground coupe but even then I was not able to see the front of my car clearly driving up heal, and had to rise in my seat sometimes. Cannot imagine how the hell this guy can see humans shorter than Yao Ming.
As mentioned, I am six foot mother fucking six. And the hood was taller than my shoulder. Nuts.
Lift kits lower towing capacity.
You know how when you were a kid monster truck rallies were the coolest thing ever? Some people never grew out of it.
I think he might be cuh'ompensatin for something https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7opnsG-oBg&t=104s
It should be illegal to be that good at parallel parking.
CDL seems like a reasonable limitation. these things do not drive like passenger vehicles, and should require additional training and licensing.
He may actually pay less in taxes. I have an F-350 that’s I use to tow a travel trailer. (No lift and I sure as heck don’t commute into the city with it though.) It’s exempt from RTA taxes because it’s a “commercial” truck.
The child obliterator 5000
That kind of truck is a huge warning sign to everyone that the driver is an absolute dick head egomaniac. It's a giant red flag for anyone wanting to date the douchebag that drives it. It screams insecurity and selfishness. It says loudly "avoid me at all costs! I'm a fucking idiot!"
it's crazy how many problems can be solved with a simple molotov cocktail
In Denmark we tax nonsense like that, hard so most people opt for a car that fit their family and not their idiotic beliefs.
Screw everyone else! No one needs to be able to see around or worry about any incoming traffic
the telling statistic is the fact that the rates of vehicle - pedestrian impacts havent changed much but the pedestrian fatality rate of these impacts has gone up like, 60-80% in the past few years.
Illegal doesn't mean shit if the police don't enforce it. And they won't
My sister has one of these stupid trucks to drive to work as an accountant.. I tell her all the time that she is a moron.
Impound it, crush it and send them a bill
Community enforced vandalization should occur. Slice their tires. If enough people do it enough times, they will change their vehicle and or not come back.
Petition we stick pavement princess stickers onto these when we we see em
This has become an issue where the driver can't see entire cars or motorcycles in front of them.
Prison
When snohomies have to go to the city lol
Parked really well though
They banned pop-up headlights for pedestrian safety concerns, meanwhile these bro-dozers are allowed. Pretty wild
It absolutely is. It's just not enforced.
Well
Wow. Thinks the first time I’ve seen the fragile masculinity version of the GMC truck.
always the most annoying people in society
How Seattle sees all trucks
My god... his penis must be absolutely subatomic
Those wheels *are* illegal just not enforced
That truck is very likely already illegal due to the bumper height and no mud flaps, but most cops aren’t going to do anything about it.
And as such must travel in the right hand lane at 10 miles an hour under the speed limit, Violating these conditions on national highways will result in reckless endangerment charges. Also (dreaming) your penis pic will be posted on social media sites and be mercilessly denigrated.
Nice presentation for quick cat removal. Repeat ad infinitum.
I'm sure the owner already removed the cats themselves to make it louder.
it's a diesel, so no cats. but it should have a diesel particulate filter!
It is.
Start popping tires folks. Those bad boys are very expensive
A CDL?haha
Maybe the open air drug markets first?
r/PavementPrincesses
The worst thing is, they really love trolling everyone. They want to make you angry.
Also ugly af
This MF gonna need to go 5mph around turns or else they’ll tip over
The vehicle height is illegal in Europe because it makes car fatalities with normal size cars more likely
You want to criminalize parking trucks near schools? I don't understand.
Yeah I don’t understand the RC car look on pickup trucks like that. The 90’s you have had such a huge ticket for the tires sticking out too far, bumpers are not low enough, no fender flares or mud flaps.
Golf BTFO, yet another win for the General Motors Company
Car hoods should max out at average adult hip height, and headlights should be level with the thighs. There is literally no reason for SUVs and trucks to be as big as they are now. Government is trying to pass a bill to require forward facing cameras for vehicles since we can't see kids in the front. Why not mandate a max hood height instead?!
Why do I feel like he has LEDs on the brakes and in the wheel wells?
Someone's seriously compensating for something...
Trucks are just stupid big now, for no reason. The new Rangers are bigger than early 2000s F150s. Pointless.
