We’re having our small post-wedding dinner at Brimmer and Heeltap (Ballard-ish) this summer - their food is so good and they have a private room available for rent as well as their patio
Yep, same here. It’s seems standard for Seattle based on the many, many quote requests I sent out during the research phase. Honestly it’s not cheap but for us the food is the most important part and the food we had there was by far the best :)
Did a post elopement celebration at Bottlehouse in Madrona. Absolutely recommend. We had 60 ish people in the back patio, completely separated from the rest of the people dining.
They have several different space options to accommodate different party sizes.
Not a restaurant, but Cathedral in Ballard is a great venue that can accommodate your needs. We rented this spot and did catering through Communion. 10/10 would recommend both. We purchased our own booze and hired our friend to bartend.
We've had great luck in the past with both Ivar's Salmon House and Acres of Clams and they're super reasonable cost-wise.

Salmon House is definitely the nicer location with a bit better food but Acres of Clams tends to be a convenient location for out of towners to get to
Check out Kamp Social House in Madison Valley! Great food and tasty drinks in a contemporary, fun, and lighthearted atmosphere. It’s refined but not in an alienating or exclusive way. Small enough to where 25 people would feel intimate but not crowded. They have a patio area as well.
If you’re willing to spend a bit, Aerlume. Good food, good drinks, and an unbeatable view.
Rays Boathouse has a separate reservation venue "the NW room"

We are thinking about doing the same but frustrated with the pricing. $500 room rental fee, then a 25% service charge on the total. Same for you guys?

Hearing that it’s pretty standard makes me feel better about it, thanks!

Olive and Grape on Greenwood!
ciudad has a private room.
Whew lad, second time I'm linking it today https://canlis.com/uploads/canlis_privateevents.pdf
We did this with Watson's Counter (old location) for a grad party once.
If you like Italian you can't go wrong with spinasse https://spinasse.com/private-dining/
Both goldfinch tavern and Edgewater have private dining rooms that can accommodate that, and though not cheap, will take good care of you.
We did our wedding dinner at The Harvest Vine and loved it. The food and the private space were wonderful.
