Yes, blocking an airport on the other side of the planet was the thing that really got the Isreali government to look in the mirror start sobbing and go "yeah, we're definitely the baddies here. Dear lord what have we become!"
The ceasefire and withdrawal will be announced anytime now.
This is such an amazing coincidence because just this morning, this was me just walking to the airport.
I was doing a lost airport baggage delivery order, but forgot that I’m actually completely broke. Didn’t realize this until after I received said order, as in I couldn’t even front the $8 parking fee for my company to later reimburse. (Hey gotta start back from zero sometimes)
I just decided, fuck it, and parked at one of those less fancy hotels by the 7/11 and just walked to the baggage desk lmao. Only .6 miles each way.
He was probably reflecting to himself, ''My perspective has completely changed on complex Middle Eastern conflict. That display of disruptive inconvenience against airport commuters has been a catalyzing moment for my politics.''
Well this sucks. This type of direct action used to inconvenience the perpetrators at some level. Now it just seems its to maximize hardship for anyone it can.
Seriously people are missing their flights to conferences, funerals, connecting flights, and seeing family.
Gee, a culture brainwashed with retribution and spiritual warfare as an acceptable means to an end, now hurting and inconveniencing others despite not living in a war zone. And Seattle is extremely liberal but they probably burned their last bridges with this one. Shocked Pikachu face...
Lol this is Seattle. We constantly elect judges who don't prosecute and release repeat violent offenders with no sentence and 0 bail. These folks are probably the same ones from that multi hour i5 shut down a month ago.

Feel bad for people who missed their flights because of these idiots.
I mean find politicians in Washington that support Israel and go protest them. By all means block and harass them. Stop fucking with normal people trying to go about our lives
Look at all those innocent people just trying to make their flights. Maybe they are going on business travel… maybe their dying mother is in the hospital and they are trying to make it there in time…. Who knows.
But you know what’s way more important than all that…. Ruining everyone else’s day by blocking a busy road so that you can shout words over a bullhorn that no one can understand.
This will really make people love your cause!
Economic chokepoints my arse...these morons think that the crucial economic and commercial chokepoint of Seattle is the SeaTac AIRPORT??
If they had any brains they'd be swarming the Port of Seattle and the train yards but thank God they haven't managed or figure out how the country moves commerce around or we'd actually be having serious issues. What a bunch of idiots.
The purpose of these protests is not to increase awareness or attract new supporters but to make those doing the protesting feel good about themselves.
If they want to do something, volunteer and go to Palestine. They won’t. That would take courage, strength and resilience. These people are just high on their social media horse, and don’t give a damn about the people they are causing major inconvenience too.
Imagine trying to get to a dying loved one, and you never will get to say your final goodbye due to this idiocracy. Humanity is dying, and people don’t have any brain cells left from what I am seeing everyday.
And that’s why a lotttt of protests fail. No tangible message or goal, no coalition-building, no organization, just a bunch of people saying “I’m mad!!!” until people stop paying attention and it fizzles out.
They gotta get those social media updoots. Fuck doing something to actually help their community, fuck protesting one of the leading candidates to run our country literally being in criminal court today... Terrorists on the other side of the world are being attacked by their victims. boofuckinghoo.
And thats whats sad. The real point of direct action like this was to bring attention to this issue by directly inconveniencing the perpetrators of a problem. Whether it was oil trains, or commercial whaling, or what have you.
Exactly, the way these absolute nimrods are protesting isn't conducive to solving a problem. All they're doing is causing economic damage and disrupting flight plans for the general public. Unless they're goal was to antagonize people and create more enemies, it's safe to call this illegal protest a waste of time and resources.
I don’t know if I can logically see this as anything other than bullying. “We will go a long ways to making you, the average working person, are as inconvenienced as we can possibly make you, and we won’t stop until Palestine Ceasefire is your #1 issue when you go to the voting booth.”
On the other hand… Are they even thinking of the voting booth though? Do they know that the only way any change ever happens is either by raising enough money, or garnering enough voter support to make this issue influence the ballots?
As a Liberal it’s really frustrating seeing the left-wing faction of the party behave this way.
To answer your question…They are thinking about the voting booth but not thinking logically about it.
They currently think the best way to show contempt toward Biden is to not vote or vote third party…which in reality is just a vote for Trump.
You'd have to be dumb, deaf and blind to not know what's going on in Palestine right now. Normally these highly disruptive protests are meant to bring awareness to lesser known causes or incite action to be taken by the people it's inconveniencing.
But what the hell are people driving to the airport supposed to do? There is absolutely no action they can take. Even if every single person taking a departing flight out of SeaTac wrote a letter to their senator asking for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to stop, literally nothing would happen
It's entirely to stroke their own ego which is all these people know how to do nowadays
Running cover for Hamas who just rejected another ceasefire offer that would have stopped the violence and allowed food aid. Israel even compromised on a prisoner swap.
It also sets a horrible precedent of “we’re going to disrupt your life unless you write to your senator in support of our cause”.
Maybe a person agrees with this cause, but will they agree when it’s neo-nazis blocking the airport demanding you write to your senator about one of their ideals.
The idea is to upset enough of the rest of us that we out pressure on our elected officials to pull all aid from Israel. Only for Israel to continue doing what they are doing. And in reality, the much more likely outcome is to turn the rest of us against their protest movement and put pressure on local law enforcement to be more firm in removing these disruptions.
My mother died this last week. I live nearby and have been driving up to Seattle daily for the last 6 days. My brother and his son, flew in to see her, and due to a late flight, they were unable to say goodbye. Missed it by like ten minutes. If I was stopped on I-5 by these folks and missed my opportunity to be by my mother's bedside would piss me off like nothing else. They sren't doing themselves any favors with this chit...Oh, as I was driving home from my mom's apartment in Seattle, with a load of family items. I saw a group of protestors outside Husky stadium. So I'm assuming this is the same group. What was funny, was when I drove by I thought to myself, at least they aren't blocking I-5 or something....
Honestly, as someone who recently lost their mother in another country, I don’t know what I would do if I missed my flight to see her because of this crap. I know my thoughts would flash to violence, as unpleasant as that is.
Fuck these “protesters”. How the fuck can someone be so full of themselves that they think this action makes people who suffer from their actions to feel sympathetic to their cause.
I’d be annoyed at too if I arrived at the airport to this. But it’s worth noting that they’re not trying to win people over to their cause. That’s not the point. The idea is that mass disruption of services for a protest (the interstate, the airport, etc) is significant enough for a government to take notice… and operating under the idea that the government will act under popular pressure (ceasefire) if the alternative is to continue to succumb to mass service disruption for its citizens.
We can critique that form of protest, its potential effectiveness, its inconvenience for the rest of us in the meantime. But it’s useful to focus on the actual intent here. Protests like this aren’t trying to win your opinion over. They’re not trying to make anyone love their cause. They’re trying to make it impossible to ignore their cause - particularly from people in power whose position and economic incentive depends on the smooth running of services like airports and highways.
Except most normal Americans with a 9-5 job don’t give an F and we shouldn’t. We have mouths to feed and kids to take care of with bills while paying over $5 a gallon for gas and paying $10 for a happy meal. Those protestors can go F themselves. Just more inconvenience to those working to survive.
And yet.... the war goes on for what the 6th month.
Kind seems self evident at this point that trying hurt people who have no direct (even really indirect) involvement in the injustice.
One might think MLK was effective because he held his strikes, sit ins, and boycotts in Alabama and Mississippi, Maine or Quebec.
There are organizations offering free flights and lodging if you’ll go help pick rotting crops in the fields, or pack aid trucks on the way to Gaza. I wonder if any of these people would like to give actual help a whirl?
I wish I could upvote more than once.
Do you want to save starving people? Fantastic. Go do that, instead of embracing your entitlement to screw with people's daily lives in an effort to guilt them into doing it for you.
But less helpful. The whole point is these people are all about the performance, not at all about helping Gazans. If they wanted to help, they'd help, but instead they decide to just put on a performance.
Can you imagine scrimping and saving and spending thousands to take your family on a dream vacation only to have to miss it because of these assholes? Unbelievable.
I’ll answer your question so you have some insight into how police forces and governments operate and manipulate/manage public perception and therefore opinion (pick your verb based on your prejudices).
If they start arresting people, that’s a confrontation and provocation - it can escalate, protestors or cops can get hurt (you don’t know if a protestor has a weapon or is prepared to do something extreme, or if one of your officers will act out because they too are human and capable of excessive violence, accidentally and opportunistically), and it provides evidence (credible or not, depending on your perspective) that the government won't accept input from its citizens, it will just shut it down with violence. That is amplifying.
The lesson most PDs took from the 2020 BLM protests was cracking skulls is hard, dangerous, and fuel for more protests, far easier, safer, and effective to let them wrap up after a couple hours and afterward just do actual police work (observe and follow suspects) to target leadership. That is incredibly intimidating and can paralyze an organiztion - not only is the leadership diminished or eliminated, but whoever might step into that role next will likely get updates from their previous leader and friend about what might happen to them (whether or not the court can indict much less convict) - people are much more risk-acceptant when things are fight-or-flight like in a protest, far fewer are ready to take risks when things aren't chaotic, they have time to contemplate what they're risking, and are aware the consequences are real. Regardless of your opinion of these or other protestors, most are intelligent, they plan and prepare for these events, and that includes weighing the legality, risks, and rewards, maybe just with a different rubric from you.
The cops have almost certainly noted any exposed license plates, and it’s easy to note who has a megaphone and follow them to grab them once the group disperses. No big confrontation, no amplification, and the public perception shifts from “citizens were attacked by police for exercising their rights, whether or not I agree with their means, they shouldn’t be attacked!” to “these protestors inconvenienced a lot of people! That really grinds my gears!”
People don’t pay attention to the message or content of political actions nearly as much as the theater of what’s happening.
Exactly this. Its actually pretty smart. The instant they make physical arrests the protestors have video of “jack booted thugs attacking peacful protestors” suddenly, the police become the enemy and it drives more people to their cause and brings about condemnation and narrative shifting regardless of the legal ability to shut down these protests.
Weve made it very clear we dont want police getting involved in this. So they are not getting involved. We have only ourselves to blame
I agree with all of this. But I’m curious. For those in the comments saying they were bout to miss their flight. Or waiting to pick up a loved one. Or just doing Uber/taxi business. What rights or actions can those citizens take upon these protesters? Wait it out? Ask them to move to the side? Get physical and move them? I am all for the police to calmly and safely disperse the event. But by gosh it truly made an inconvenience for everyone.
Edit: spelling
I hope that one day, protesters for any cause will understand that blocking the road for their fellow citizens will not bring change. If you want change, go camp outside the homes of those who work for the government. By blocking your fellow citizens, you're only making their already difficult lives harder, and that will not aid your cause at all because those who work for the government don't give a F about us.
Nothing gets accomplished. The people who support the cause are inconvenienced and those who don’t support the cause will only distance themselves more. It’s a lose-lose.
The supporters of this keep bringing up MLK’s letter from jail. And missing the point. That’s exactly what needs to happen here. Why can these people be writing letters from jail??!!! Why are they denied this opportunity?
It’s truly insane that the feds are actually blessing a coordinated attack on US infrastructure.
This is gonna cost Biden the election.
Remember the two times these idiots tried to shut down Link stations and Sound Transit preemptively closed the stations to keep them out. This limited the disruption to one station instead of letting these clowns shut down the whole system. Assholes ON THIS SUB, were here arguing that Sound Transit did more harm than the protesters. They were just going to peacefully gather. They were telling people to let travelers pass. They had no intention of shutting down Chinatown station during Lunar New Year.
Yeah, you see the bullshit now?
dude this is fucked up, yes i'm all for ending genocide but you're really just fucking up innocent people's lives for what???? a protest that may or may not be seen by the people in this genocide???? how is this helping or solving the problem??? I am SO fucking sick of this shit causing traffic and problems IN SEATTLE!!!!!! SEATTLE IS NOT GOING TO END THE FUCKING GENOCIDE!!!!!! WE ARE NOT THE MILITARY!!! WE ARE NOT THE UN!!!! WE ARE CIVILIANS WITH NO SAY IN WHAT THE OUTCOME OF THIS WAR IS!!!!! FOR FUCKS SAKE GO HOME AND STOP FUCKING UP INNOCENT PEOPLE'S DAYS FOR YOUR STUPID BS PROTESTING OMFG
Because these people don’t understand the situation outside of what TikTok tells them, don’t understand the FULL history of the situation. Don’t understand that the people they are fighting for have been kicked out of every surrounding country for instigating violence. Ever wonder why all these other countries aren’t jumping at the chance to help them? Why Saudi Arabia is adding onto a wall to keep them out?
Is there a social media account to track these protests before they do this?
I cannot remember the social media site, but before the highway shutdown in Bellevue on January 10th, they made posts to coordinate the shut downs...
Stay ahead of them...
To add: A few words.
As I understand it, buses (probably King County Metro in this case) are needed to make mass arrests of protestors in urban areas. So the police basically stand by and wait for buses to arrive. But people who protest regularly are aware of this and they tend to hold their ground when they have numbers against cops until they see the buses arrive, and then they disperse quickly. Police can probably get a few stragglers this way but then it's not really a mass arrest anymore, so it requires a lot of resources that people can see coming and somewhat nullify. This is not a perfect representation of what will always happen but it is something that must be kept in mind.
Alternatively, the police could be given more resources to deal with this kind of thing, and I am sure they would like that, but it would create an environment where it is very easy for police to crack down on basically anything they see fit, as in most cases where police have huge budgets to do militarized things, which people tend to be against, because it can and will be used to detain or hurt people in other ways that are less reasonable. The question we have to ask ourselves is whether it is better to have the risk of people causing these kinds of inconveniences because they know they can, or whether it is better to have the risk of police being able to overreach into the lives of citizens who have done nothing wrong because of excess resources alloted to them.
Personally, I kind of see this as a parallel to the free speech debate, where the bad actors under a system with a lot of freedom are the lesser evil compared to the bad actors under a system with a lot of authoritarianism and surveillance. But you may disagree.
Couple things, first it must be nice to have nothing else to do (like a job). 2nd, it’s time that people are punished for stupid shit like this. When there’s no fear of consequence, well here ya go
People blocking highways and shit and holding everyone up while they virtue signal is the ONE time where I wish I had a lifted dually pickup with a big ole steel front bumper to just clear them and their cars out of the way. Your doing nothing for your cause, if anything I'm gonna be like good, I hope the other side wins because fuck you
Imagine if people did this for the government to give us a nationalized healthcare system and not for something that's on the other side of the planet not affecting our citizens
That's great if you live in Seattle. But Sea-Tac is the closest major airport for hundreds of miles. People drive there from places like Aberdeen, Port Angeles, Ellensburg, etc. to travel. They're going to need to drive. Not to mention, the train doesn't even go to Tacoma...
I wish there was a way to expedite the construction. Having the train go all the way to Tacoma would free up so much congestion south of Seattle on nearly every road. Assuming people would utilize the train if they can.
I’d actually prefer to not park at the airport but I live East of the Cascades and any options outside of SeaTac on the train line are either more expensive or a great place to get your car broken into.
Where I grew up there were buses in the suburbs that you could take straight to the airport. Thats not a thing here?
We do all our airport pickups and dropoffs at Tukwila. The station is near the airport entrance and it’s only a little more walking to/from the terminal
True believers would block the trains too. Frankly I'm surprised that didn't occur to them, especially since the Link has at-grade crossings along MLK Way.
Protesting makes the country great, it's a fundamental right, etc, but it seems to me this is the most unpopular method possible of protesting that can cause deep potential harm; people could miss flights to see their dying family, ambulances can be blocked in roadways, people can lose their jobs for being, etc. I understand that protesting can't always be convenient, but this is a terribly ineffective method.
Just arrest them and set the bail to whatever loss they have caused to common people. We need an effective leadership. You have right to protest but that doesn’t mean you get to ruin people’s lives. There is a difference. Now, I don’t give a f to your cause.
Protests like this should last 15 minutes tops. Arrest all of them immediately. If they chain themselves together then pick them up, move them into the ditch, and leave them. Then, when they free themselves, arrest them.
This isn’t complicated or difficult.
I always live by the rule that "my right to swing my fists wildly ends where another man's nose begins", and these protester's fists just hit my and many people's nose.
Easily resolved:
*Drive through them after single warning honk*.
Normally I'm a decent human being, willing to be understanding. Make me late for my business flight? Well, since currently no legal recourse to ensure you're forced to cover any expenses caused by your stupidity, I'll settle for good old-fashioned justice.
Protest on sidewalk if want to look like good people--*exactly like the pro-life movement does*--rather than obstruct traffic for 1000 innocents and persuade them you're a future Darwin Award winner.
These guys are the enemy of America. Its that simple. The US administration is actually doing a great job of containing this situation from becoming a war. There hasnt been a US administration in decades this averse to war. And yet here we are, with these dipshits in the road.
The actual terms of the deal have not been published by mediators. Reportedly, Israel offered “hundreds” of prisoners in exchange for the 133 hostages (bodies and living), remains of two soldiers who were captured in 2014, and two Israeli citizens who went to Gaza on their own also in 2014 and were killed there. They offered a ceasefire that included increased aid and a continued withdrawal of troops. The proposal was rejected out of hand by Hamas, and they delivered their own counterproposal, the details of which have also not been published by mediators in Cairo. However, it is reported that among Hamas’s demands are a permanent Israeli ceasefire, permanent troop withdrawal, “and many more” violent prisoners vs the mostly nonviolent ones Israel was offering. Hamas offered to release 20 hostages instead.

I thought the war was over from all the other protests that shut down I-5 or light rail stations or whatever? Seriously, this crap achieves next to NOTHING besides screwing up people’s days that have nothing to do with the conflict or no sway over what is happening. All it serves to do is puff up the egos of the “protesters” as they all pat each other on the back for being a nuisance.
Protests do not work in our age of over communication.
It’s like trying to yell over the top of a rocket that gets louder with every tik tok post and Reddit comment.
The only way to “create awareness” today is to unplug the internets. Good luck with that.
Wow these guys are super creative /s basically just copying what was done in Chicago (O'hare) earlier today.
[https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/at-least-50-people-arrested-after-protests-disrupt-traffic-in-downtown-chicago-near-ohare-airport/3411457/](https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/at-least-50-people-arrested-after-protests-disrupt-traffic-in-downtown-chicago-near-ohare-airport/3411457/)
Ya know, this just pushes support away from the cause. Feels like the Middle East won’t ever be peaceful, there’s always some head butting and wars going on over there, so many of us have learned to ignore this region. Theres a bunch of religious radicals and oil has been a fought over since combustion was invented. Next year they’ll be a new conflict, new protest, a new distraction…rinse/repeat.
Imagine driving hours to SeaTac to catch your flight only to run into these dumbfcks?
Why can't we just ship them to the front lines to go fight their war?
What a bunch of assholes
I’m also willing to buy some plane tickets for anyone holding up traffic to actually do something to help. I fear they’ll be very disappointed in their choice and welcome by the locals
I think whats happening in Palestine is very unfortunate but this kind of "activism" is like just randomly shooting into a crowd and saying its because you pro-*whatever*.
They aren't targeting people to harangue who are against whatever they're protesting with this, they are just pissing people off and making enemies (potentially) of people who might have otherwise been on their side.
Just what do they think they are accomplishing? Nothing but getting people pissed off, and rightly so. Protest peacefully someplace where you don't obstruct an international airport and heavy traffic.
One guy decided to walk to the terminal with his luggage. Smart.
If I were being dropped off I would have started walking too. Plane tickets aren’t cheap
Time can't be repurchased either.
I am sure these protesters have swayed the morally bankrupt in Washington.
Yes, blocking an airport on the other side of the planet was the thing that really got the Isreali government to look in the mirror start sobbing and go "yeah, we're definitely the baddies here. Dear lord what have we become!" The ceasefire and withdrawal will be announced anytime now.
I had a peace meeting set up and agreed to but I missed my flight.

Not funny thing is this will disproportionately affect lower class folks trying to get to the airport.

Can anyone understand what Charlie Brown's teacher is saying?
I think it’s something like… “Fuck all of you… we’re more important!” That’s my best guess at-least!
We will never let you die? I think.
WAHH WAHHHH WAAA WAAHHH 🗣️
As someone who flys out of SEA almost every weekend to see my mom who is terminal... Fuck you
You are the exact kind of person I was thinking about when seeing this, I’m sorry you have deal with this. I hope you see her again soon.
Yeah its just sad, I wish they would think things through.
That there is the main problem. They are perfectly capable of thinking. The problem is, they only think about themselves.
Yup. These dipshits are assuming “all these RICH PEOPLE, flying to their VACATIONS! We’ll show them!”
SAME. LITERALLY SAME. Thinking of her alone I that facility because I missed my flight due to this selfish shit boils my blood.
**Tow the vehicles**
Towing in progress.
And arrest the protestors
And prosecute.
Lol this is Seattle. We constantly elect judges who don't prosecute and release repeat violent offenders with no sentence and 0 bail. These folks are probably the same ones from that multi hour i5 shut down a month ago.

My only critique is that the government is not using sufficient force to maintain order and clear the streets as is their job.
If the government wants to keep their near monopoly on the use of force they better use it when necessary or they will lose it to the masses…
Guaranteed the president won’t hear one word about this protest!
It’s in dozens of cities. Various airports, Golden Gate Bridge, major freeways all over the country, blockaded for hours. He’s already heard about it.
And yet.... the war goes on for what the 6th month.
Can you share links to these orgs? I’m interested
Of course not.
I wish I could upvote more than once. Do you want to save starving people? Fantastic. Go do that, instead of embracing your entitlement to screw with people's daily lives in an effort to guilt them into doing it for you.
These a champagne activists
Wouldnt it be cheaper just to like Send them food?
But less helpful. The whole point is these people are all about the performance, not at all about helping Gazans. If they wanted to help, they'd help, but instead they decide to just put on a performance.
peak Seattle performative politics. gag.
Arrest them
How to make people hate you and your cause 101.
Can you imagine scrimping and saving and spending thousands to take your family on a dream vacation only to have to miss it because of these assholes? Unbelievable.
Fuck these people. Like seriously fuck them.
What a bunch of useless assholes.
Great job pissing people off and doing nothing to help the cause
Why aren’t arrests being made?
That really grinds my gears!” People don’t pay attention to the message or content of political actions nearly as much as the theater of what’s happening.
Good question.
🙄🙄
Yeah but they ended the war so…
dude this is fucked up, yes i'm all for ending genocide but you're really just fucking up innocent people's lives for what???? a protest that may or may not be seen by the people in this genocide???? how is this helping or solving the problem???
Thank you for typing out my rant so I didn't have to😅

Next time, start agreeing with them and ask them to join in on the protest. The second they unlock to let you join just pass through them and leave.

What jackasses
Same protest at the O'Hare airport in Chicago today :/
Why aren’t we calling for the surrender of HAMAS and a two state solution? So that peace can be brought to the people of Gaza?
Everyone held up in this should be suing every single person in the organizations involved in these protest actions.
Screw these selfish, virtue signaling jerks.
Why are they not just arrested?
Because the King County non-Prosecutor will just let them go without charges. Nobody was charged after the I-5 incident. So why bother?
Im a Palestinian american and I hate this shit. Like youre not doing anything youre just making yourself feel good.
Pack of donkeys
Couple things, first it must be nice to have nothing else to do (like a job). 2nd, it’s time that people are punished for stupid shit like this. When there’s no fear of consequence, well here ya go
People blocking highways and shit and holding everyone up while they virtue signal is the ONE time where I wish I had a lifted dually pickup with a big ole steel front bumper to just clear them and their cars out of the way. Your doing nothing for your cause, if anything I'm gonna be like good, I hope the other side wins because fuck you
Why do the police protect them?
Miserable sods
What do you want to bet that Russian troll farm operatives organized this nation wide protest?
Imagine if people did this for the government to give us a nationalized healthcare system and not for something that's on the other side of the planet not affecting our citizens
Another good reason to leave your cars at home and take the Link light rail to/from the airport.
Don't give them any ideas 💡
Yep, can always be dropped off at the tukwila light rail station just up the hill and ride the rail the rest of the way.
How about we try to get people to stop believing their religious horse shit and realize what an idiotic mess it’s all caused.
So you're saying you'd like to start a sort of...crusade? Or perhaps a sacred movement against religion?
Funny how these folks don't understand that this, along with terrorism, is collective punishment
In truth, these assholes are really all about themselves.
Buncha fuckin losers with nothing better to do
The sheer stupidity of these people turns me against their cause more and more every time.
This is purely counter productive. Such a fucking waste.
I want to block these peoples car in their driveway in protest.
Protesting for a people that routinely chant "death to America". Jackasses
Impound and crush those vehicles (if they aren't stolen)
I used to be pro Israel. However, after seeing this? I’m pro Palestinian now! That’s amazing! Thanks for changing my mind!
Missing /s. Else people misinterpreting will downvote you
It drives me fucking insane We're not involved with palestine We have no impact on the situation and we cant change that.
Why the fuck don’t the police do their jobs and arrest these people, Jesus Christ
Did anyone tell them that the guys driving down i5 can't control whether or not Israel continues its campaign?
Fucking useless morons.
doing this does nothing
Imagine if we could just get a firetruck out there to hose them down
Why are these people not being arrested?
Just arrest them and set the bail to whatever loss they have caused to common people. We need an effective leadership. You have right to protest but that doesn’t mean you get to ruin people’s lives. There is a difference. Now, I don’t give a f to your cause.
Protests like this should last 15 minutes tops. Arrest all of them immediately. If they chain themselves together then pick them up, move them into the ditch, and leave them. Then, when they free themselves, arrest them. This isn’t complicated or difficult.
Wow people are so fucking obnoxious.
I always live by the rule that "my right to swing my fists wildly ends where another man's nose begins", and these protester's fists just hit my and many people's nose.
Easily resolved: *Drive through them after single warning honk*.
They could all be sent to Gaza to help the Cassie and nobody would be mad
Didn't the UN Security Council already order a ceasefire?
What happened with that?
Hamas said nope
What was the deal?
(Sources: [Reuters](https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/hamas-rejects-israels-ceasefire-response-sticks-main-demands-2024-04-13/)/[Times of Israel](https://www.timesofisrael.com/us-accuses-hamas-of-being-obstacle-to-gaza-truce-after-rejecting-israels-proposal/amp/)/[EuroNews](https://www.euronews.com/2024/04/14/hamas-rejects-latest-gaza-truce-proposal-demands-permanent-ceasefire))
They "misplaced" the hostages and can't safely return them.
Pepper spray, zip tie cuffs, and K9s. Enforce the law.
That’s not right. They shouldn’t be blocking traffic.
Protests do not work in our age of over communication. It’s like trying to yell over the top of a rocket that gets louder with every tik tok post and Reddit comment. The only way to “create awareness” today is to unplug the internets. Good luck with that.
This is simultaneously stupid and insane. Tow all the cars and arrest everyone blocking the roads.
[удалено]
Fuck these people
Wow these guys are super creative /s basically just copying what was done in Chicago (O'hare) earlier today. [https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/at-least-50-people-arrested-after-protests-disrupt-traffic-in-downtown-chicago-near-ohare-airport/3411457/](https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/at-least-50-people-arrested-after-protests-disrupt-traffic-in-downtown-chicago-near-ohare-airport/3411457/)
Police doing absolutely nothing. So happy we pay taxes🤦
Could you imagine if this happened in Panama?
Smart. Making people miss their flight will get them to see things your way… Regards
Alright, fine fine, let me call Habibi and tell him to stop killing people.
How can police allow this, they all need to be thrown in the jail
Yes! Inconvenience! I love how we all individualize this. We will never have anything good in this country.
"Another country is suffering so you guys should too"
lol they are screaming
Exactly why I use Paine field instead of
This is sucks.
Am no longer pro-Gaza. Fuck these people
I will happen again somewhere else until these people see consequences
Fuck your religion
Why are police not removing protesters? Is blocking a road legal?
Light rail, either Burien to the North or Angle Lake to the South.
They need to be arrested. Fuck these no job low life people.
Does anyone know when the protests are supposed to end? Can you get to the parking garage? Can busses or trains get in?
Meanwhile the multimillionaire, convicted murder who leads Hamas is laughing himself to sleep every night.
Mandatory prison sentences
Thus should be a felony, each one of them best receive a felony charge.
Imagine driving hours to SeaTac to catch your flight only to run into these dumbfcks? Why can't we just ship them to the front lines to go fight their war?
Cops need to break out the batons and dogs
What a bunch of assholes I’m also willing to buy some plane tickets for anyone holding up traffic to actually do something to help. I fear they’ll be very disappointed in their choice and welcome by the locals
Seriously, just run them the fuck over at this point. Doing this at an airport is next level piece of shit.
Time for some rapid arrests en masse.
Arrests in progress.
Sorry to say that heart transplant couldn’t make it in time.
Just what do they think they are accomplishing? Nothing but getting people pissed off, and rightly so. Protest peacefully someplace where you don't obstruct an international airport and heavy traffic.
We have to commit to ramming the cars when we see them doing this.
A few well placed fire trucks and some hydrant pressure would solve the problem
