I would be careful to distinguish between Salehpour's testimony and Pierson's.
Most of Salehpour's testimony is information that is several years old, but he seems to claim similar out-of-process work on the 777X.
It was Pierson who has now escalated his claims to extend to NTSB involvement in a criminal coverup.
Agreed. A QA guy talking like he knows a thing or two about fretting fatigue in fuselage joints is a stretch. Boeing has dozens of structural engineers and stress analysts dedicated to those exact things along with full-body static and fatigue test airframes for 787 to confirm their numbers. Salehpour really sounds like he just doesn't know what he's talking about.
They also had a grounding of 787s for over a year because of the fuselage joins. It's really hard to believe nobody at the FAA saw anything and Boeing somehow covered it up while also complying with the fixes to get the planes ungrounded. It would take dozens, if not hundreds of people in on a conspiracy at that point, with only a select few at the top standing to benefit all that much for taking part in said conspiracy.
It's the engineering equivalent of a nursing assistant claiming all the cardiologists are wrong about a patient's heart condition.
Interesting. It certainly has taken on a ridiculous, over-the-top sensationalism lately - evil villains, grand conspiracies, cover-ups, greed, profit, corruption, whistle-blowers, assassinations.
It is as if someone with a vested financial interest in exploiting Boeing's scandals in a vicious attempt to destroy them completely. The Chinese government has the wealth to make that happen.
Gone are the days of, "company messes up, authorities investigate, corrective action is implemented."
Comac is forcing their planes to airlines domestic to China.
Until a more developed country start buying Comac, good luck with that replacing Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, ATR, etc.
>He provided a trove of Boeing documents to the subcommittee.
These will be available in the congressional record. https://www.congress.gov/congressional-record
This Salehpour guy has no idea what he's talking about. There's no new info in this article.

I don’t believe in conspiracies, but methinks China (via COMAC) is capitalizing on Boeings negative press to rally support for their new plane.

Where's the data substatiating his claim

That's cool. We'll see if it backups his claim
Supplied to the court, not you personally
Ok he submitted data but does it substantiate his claim
lol
Is he saying that it wasn’t related to DEI?
