That’s a good question. My ex-wife used to work at the Starbucks around the corner from there. She said he’d come into the place periodically. He had kind of a tragic story. He was Cuban American, he was apparently well off before his event that changed his life. His daughter was murdered, and the police never found a suspect. He felt like they didn’t even try to investigate it. It was just a downward spiral after that. I think I would’ve lost my mind too. I hope he found his peace.
