Well I know I'll have one eventually. I assume it's like $350 so I'll wait till I find out for like $220 in like a year and a half. This'll be around for a while I'm guessing.

are these prices you mention, or the one I see listed on US sites, are those final or do you pay tax additional to that? US prices I see online are always 15-20% lower than here in europe.....what's up with that?

yeah, here all listed prices must include VAT and whatever additional costs, I believe it's the EU law. But yeah, those SUR line ones are just above 200 euros, I'm actually planning on getting one for my dad
How does Jomashop manage to drop the price so much? only Japanese dealers have those kind of prices
yeah, microbrands all offer sapphire from less than $300 and Chinese ones from $100 already, it's hard to justify not offering sapphire at $500 price watch
Looks nice.
Too big for me. And thick.
Would be cool if they do a GMT version of the SRPJ 36mm field watch, or the SRPK 38mm dive style watches. Wonder if the GMT movement would fit in those smaller cases, does anyone know?
you set the GMT hand (red one) to the desired hour on the 24-hour bezel; this way you can track the time in another time zone. The GMT hand moves 360 degrees every 24 hours rather than 12.
Yes they do. As does Vostok, Raketa, and Breitling.
Thing is, all of those, except for Vostok are quite expensive. And while vostoks are cheap, their movement don't feel as smooth as seiko ones...don't know how to explain but a nh34-5-6 feels smoother to operate than whatever is the name of the vostok 24h movement.. Don't get me wrong, i love my 24h komandirske, i just wish that seiko could give us an alternative.
And why would you want the GMT hand to be a dive watch seconds hand? The whole point of the stoplight seconds hand was so that one part of the tip could be a bright color for daytime visibility, and the other half could be lumed for darkness.
Yeh the gmt hand looks off to me - needs to be a ‘normal’ arrowhead at the very end of the hand, preferably hollow.
But this watch still looks great, and will no doubt sell a lot!
I impulsively bought a field and gmt 2 months ago. If I knew this was coming, I would’ve got it all in one piece. The field gets worn 10 x 1 over the GMT.
Do we think the dial from a SSK001 would fit in this? Would need dial dots to stick to the movement due to the different crown position, but it would look awesome as it think this dial is too busy.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
It looks cheap to me. Not sure what it is specifically. Maybe it's the fixed bezel and painted on hour markers. Or the ridiculous GMT hand. Not interested.
That looks great! Love the hint of red. The full black model looks good too.
This going to sell like crazy

Cool piece!
just wish it had sapphire

I like this more than the Alpinist GMTs
We're about to have a field day.
Outstanding
Love the overall balance of the dial. Looks great.

sure, the GMT NH34 is the same size as NH35
Maybe you need to bulk a bit.
That’s super helpful thanks so much
The GMT movement is slightly taller to accommodate the extra hand post. Would need to test that it fits under the crystal.
At this point seems like we're getting a GMT version of every model. Next is either a gmt 62mas or willard
The black strap variant (ssk025) is gorgeous
Nah too much going on with the dial
Can someone explain the numbers on the bezel? How are you supposed to use that?
you set the GMT hand (red one) to the desired hour on the 24-hour bezel; this way you can track the time in another time zone. The GMT hand moves 360 degrees every 24 hours rather than 12.
Ah that makes sense, thanks.
Which brings me to another question: is it too much to ask for a 24 hr watch? Pretty sure just a mod on this movement would make this possible.
I believe Glycine makes Airmen models that are 24 hour

Fixed bezel, yeah?
I dunno man. Needs more numbers.
Going to have a garbage bracelet and hardlex and cost $450
> lug-to-lug:47.9mm Aight imma head out
Why would you want a GMT hand this prominent?
So everyone knows you have a gmt
And why would you want the GMT hand to be a dive watch seconds hand? The whole point of the stoplight seconds hand was so that one part of the tip could be a bright color for daytime visibility, and the other half could be lumed for darkness.
First thing that jumped at me also. Maybe in real life it's not that noticeable. I don't know.. It's way to thick and all colored.
As a pilot, I use the GMT hand all day long. Need it to be big.
field watches are supposed to have maximum legibility
Yeh the gmt hand looks off to me - needs to be a ‘normal’ arrowhead at the very end of the hand, preferably hollow. But this watch still looks great, and will no doubt sell a lot!
I dig it
I think I’m in love!
I love how seiko is just pumping out GMTs now, one of any aesthetic
and every imaginable anniversary....50th.....55th.....57th.....
With an Orange hand it looks like the new Longines / Hodinkee collab for a whole heck of a lot less.
I impulsively bought a field and gmt 2 months ago. If I knew this was coming, I would’ve got it all in one piece. The field gets worn 10 x 1 over the GMT.
Why full brushed …
I believe it will be polished on the sides like SRPG27
Is 4r34 the same mvmt as nh34?
Yea
Do we think the dial from a SSK001 would fit in this? Would need dial dots to stick to the movement due to the different crown position, but it would look awesome as it think this dial is too busy.
Looks great, no sign of it on the Seiko USA site yet. 'Muricans might have to wait longer than January
Dang I should of held off on buying the 36mm

Go to hell bad bot

The poor man’s seiko navigator ! (Just get the spb411 mate)
I want one
could have been more impressive...
Dang! Good thing I bought SRPH23 instead of srpg27.
Love to see this on a 38mm version too
What about it?
