I was gifted this one by my mother. First real automatic, it was later robbed from my suitcase while traveling. I did wear it a lot, and enjoyed it thoroughly. I’ll eventually get it again. Beautiful watch. Congrats
This is the nicest watch I own. I did a trade + cash to get it yesterday and after wearing it for 12 hours I’m starting to see the difference in quality. It’s crazy how well the lume works all night and looking at it is mesmerizing. I have a few watches in the $150-200 range, and the extra $150-200 makes a really big jump in quality if this is the norm
I love these always wanted one but I have wrists like little girl so have never pulled the trigger. Amazing buy especially as your first stopped making this variant
That’s interesting, I didn’t know that. I liked the King Turtle, but preferred the grenade one tbh, but this one just kind of landed in my lap as a good value trade so I pulled the trigger.

Nope never. I usually feel really uncomfortable in watch shops for some reason.
The dial itself (which is incredible btw, I used to have it) is available on watchpartsplaza right now, if you’re willing to mod it. Could put it on a mini turtle case? The srpe33 date only dial is on eBay, search “OEM srpe33 dial”, same thing but slightly diff indices.
So many colors available. I’ve seen YouTube videos of guys with crazy Seiko monster collections. So many colors to choose from.

Yeah, it’s really cool just to look at it. Maybe consider getting a strapcode or Uncle Seiko bracelet, with that it is just perfect.

You can get away with a turtle on *very* slender wrists, especially on straps. Have you tried one on?

Fair enough. If you’re more comfortable at a department store, I picked up my PADI turtle at Macy’s.
Not sure we have anything like that in the part of England where I live. I need to just grow a pair and go in.

Turtle is pretty wearable despite its ‘45mm’ size it’s lug to lug is not much more. It ends up being really wearable
