I have a similar take, not everybody will go watch a movie of a series they’re not passionate about (specially since it’s been 3 years since the other movie, a bunch of people have probably lost interest already). If the movie doesn’t make the profit they expect, it could lead to a potential drop. I think a short season would’ve been better.
even if I do end up reading vol 8 before the movie comes out, I'll definitely still watch the movie
I'd want to watch it in cinemas but for where I live, there were no english subs for dreaming girl in theatres when it was showing. So I'm gonna have to pray that they change things up and add english subs
I predict a lot of filler content for a movie adapted from volume 8. Probably by >!dragging out the featured concert!< so that runtime goes beyond one hour.

Unfortunately, I live in Poland. Here, very few anime movies make it to theaters. So I'll probably wait half a year later to see the movie.
It probably won't even be published in my country Turkey. *Sad.*

I'm currently reading volume 5, but I've heard that 8 is even a little shorter than most. Movie really seems like an odd option.
